Hold on to your wallet. As a long-time patient, my Boxer Missy has spent plenty of time at this vet, usually for "follow up" visits. A trend for this vet is that fees, services, exams, and multiple prescriptions are all opportunities for them to up-sell. High, high prices compared to other Vet Hospitals in the area. The staff and vets recommend as much and as many tests as possible in order to charge the customer as much as possible for services that may be incomplete at the time of visit, requiring multiple "follow up" visits, more tests, more exams, more fees, more prescriptions. My Boxer had been a patient for many years, so I am very familiar with this Oak Forest Vet Hospital. Its hard to say if the care was competent because I was at the vet practically every month for "follow up" visits. I noticed an increase in fees, tests, prescriptions and products offered at this Vet when the construction was completed on their "new" facility. I do not recommend this Vet Hospital unless you want to pay high fees, unnecessary testing, and "follow up" visits. In fact, as soon as I challenged the high fees, testing, exams and prescription prices, they were no longer interested in treating my dog as a patient. Sad, after 6-7 years of treating my Boxer, Missy, it was all about the money for them. Read Less
