Employees seemed nice that we we dealing with, but we didn't get to see anything except the very small reception area and equally small exam room where we went to visit a rescue animal. I was impressed by the animal techs, not so much by the fact that one hand wasn't aware that the other hand had done a heart worm test that was positive. Or that they said they wouldn't do a slow treatment for heartworms, although it was on a very Young dog.
Better than A lot; not as good as others.

They told me based on my paper work that I could come in and get my dogs heart worm meds. So I go in with all my paper work and this women comes out and tells me I'm going to have to have my dog teste...
They told me based on my paper work that I could come in and get my dogs heart worm meds. So I go in with all my paper work and this women comes out and tells me I'm going to have to have my dog tested. My dog just got tested and got put on her medication. This man walks over and tell me this is enough info and it is totally fine for me to get my dogs meds. I mean I called them and that's what told me the first time. Then this lady comes out, I'm guessing she is the vet, yelling at us talking about how the shelter lied to us and by law she can not just hand out medication. I was confused and felt very attacked , becase THEY told me I could come in and get it, not some shelter. I did not particularly like being yelled at or that she clearly did not properly communicate what was going on with her staf.

If you want your pet to come out ALIVE, avoid this clinic at all costs. This clinic has subjected owners and pets alike to tremendous pain. Not only are untrained staff allowed to perform surgeries without supervision, but there is no document as to what complications your pet may have faced during a procedure.
If you are compelled to go to Stella Link, I recommend you demand to see the feces and roach infested kennels your pet is kept in before and after surgery. If your pet passes away, expect your "caring" veterinarian Dr. Cheryl or Dr. Ron to yell at you and say "What do you want me to do about it?"

It is unfortunate that I have to add a review like this, but I would hate for anyone to take their pets to an establishment where they are not treated the way they deserve to be treated. I have been a pet owner my entire life and it is heartbreaking to hear that a veterinarian, whose job is to care for and help animals, is not doing just that. In fact, it seems like they are doing the complete opposite. All medical procedures should be documented and the medical professionals performing such procedures should be able to inform owners on what the pet has undergone. When staff fails to offer any information on a surgery that resulted in the death of a pet and even does it with contention at times, I start to question the true level of professionalism of the establishment and staff.

I wrote this same review on Google but find it important to post it on different forums so no one else suffers the unnecessary loss of their pet.My friend's dog died within 1 day of receiving a routine surgical procedure at this vet. While my friends have been grappling for answers, the Stella Link Animal Clinic team has been evasive, insensitive and at times unnecessarily aggressive. They refuse to answer any questions about what could have gone wrong or provide any documentation on the services their dog received while at the clinic and in surgery. In a society where we tend to view our pets as extensions of our family and in the wake of a great loss for my friends, this is simply unacceptable. Do NOT bring your pet here and if you do, be prepared to fight for his or her life.

I would not advise ANYONE to bring their pets here as the clinic is dirty, the staff evasive, and the quality of care is low.

If you love your pet then you will not let him/her step foot in this "establishment." The animals will sit for long periods of time in their own waste. See photo evidence. The outside time for your dog means sitting in a cage after it spent all day in a smaller cage inside. See photo evidence. Roaches and bugs are everywhere, like a previous reviewer mentioned. Newspaper is their bedding and sometimes its reused. There has to be a better clinic or hospital.

Hello. Google review readers. My name is Jessica. I am the office manager here at stella link animal clinic. I've been here for 9 years. (I've played every roll here except dr)Recently we've had a few bad reviews. We are taking everything into very careful consideration. Our team strives hard to give the best pet care and customer service around. We are currently making updates to our facility in and out. It saddens us to know people don't understand the meaning of "under construction". Over the past years we've added a number of things to make it more comfortable for our pets/patients and our pet parents. The one thing that is always the same is the level of TLC we give every single pet and patient. If ever there are any concerns please feel free to call or email our office. I have met all 3 doctors from this facility and they all have spent a good 8-10 minutes with my dogs just for an annual well visit. They have explained things very well to me, including how to care for our dogs, prevention and treatment, medication usage, etc. Dr. Parma in particular has been great with all my dogs. They don't overprice you which is common in Houston. They recommend further examination if needed but they will try to avoid extra cost for the owner as well, in other words, they won't run unnecessary test unless is really needed. They take walk ins and appointments are pretty easy to schedule as well. Average in/out time is about 30 minutes including wait, doctors visit and payment. Overall am happy with them. Yes, their facility is not as fancy as others, but it's an old building and examination rooms have always been cleaned. All of their staff has been courteous and super sweet with our dogs and they provided excellent care to all of them which is the main thing.

I was there with my senior dog who had collapsed less than thirty minutes earlier. They did an x-ray and they knew she would die soon. Instead of telling us so we could spend her last moments together in happiness, they directed us to a 24/7 care facility during rush hour.
My dog suffocated to death in my arms due to fluid in her lungs while we were stuck in rush hour traffic on 610. My dog hated this vet and I let them take her final moments from me.
Instead of spending her last moments in my arms, I spent them stuck in traffic with her choking to death next to me.
Stella Link had the x-rays. They heard her lungs. They said nothing. This place is sickening.

I wrote the check and left my pet about two hours later the tech called and said "they needed an additional 45 dollars to resedate him"! Im not a genius but im not stupid either. I know when im being taken for a ride. Its close to the holidays and maybe business is slow but overcharging customers shows a lack of intergrity and ethics. Now my dog has a foul order coming from the cast that was applied Thursday. It is only Sunday and i have to take him tomorrow which is Monday to be recasted. I wonder if they are going to charge for a job they didnt do right the first time?

We contracted for a weekend boarding for my 8 yr old dog. We paid $5 extra per day to have someone play with her for 15 minutes, aside from the 4 contracted potty breaks per day she was supposed to get. We did not ask for a bath, since we bathe our dog with our own shampoo & conditioner, and blow dry her hair; its a lengthy process. Needless to say, our dog is potty trained and can "hold it" all day. The lady that received my dog was somewhat nice. On Monday my husband picked our dog up at 8am; she had her paws completely wet. Her pillow & towel were completely soiled & drenched in urine. Our bill was $50 more than originally contracted, and they had charged us for a "bath" that we never authorized for, and she never got, since she smelled like a stock show animal. When he got home, my poor dog drank so much water, she almost drowned herself. Biggest rip off ever!!!!!!! these people should not be authorized to care for anybody's pets!!

I called around to several different places to get a quote on how much the services would cost, and this was the cheapest by far! And, the bill came out to exactly what was claimed beforehand (no hidden fees). If you was a friendly, quick, personal, and inexpensive vet, look no further!!

This place looks kinda rough from the outside, but don't judge a book by it's cover. It has nice techs, vets who are friendly with my pets. They don't charge an office visit fee, so you only pay for shots, meds, services, etc. We had one puppy spayed, and she did really well. Great procedure, great care, and quick recovery. They even called the next few days to continue checking up on her. We've been very happy with the service so far.

I had been going here for 5 years when my dog was attacked by another dog. I went to my vet. They wrapped his leg up and said they couldn't help any further. They never called to check in or on how Scout was and just gave me a number and sent me on my way. This was an extremely traumatizing attack and Scout ended up losing his leg. I was very disappointed in the care. This was the second time I have been disappointed. Another time they had given Scout shots without asking me when he was there for heartworm meds and that is all... He had already received his shot a month earlier and the groomer who gave him the shot called them to tell them. Thankfully he didn't get sick. I refused to pay since they didn't ask and I had already paid for it. The vet literally yelled at me. I was so shocked I just walked out.

It is unfortunate that I have to add a review like this, but I would hate for anyone to take their pets to an establishment where they are not treated the way they deserve to be treated. I have been a pet owner my entire life and it is heartbreaking to hear that a veterinarian, whose job is to care for and help animals, is not doing just that. In fact, it seems like they are doing the complete opposite. All medical procedures should be documented and the medical professionals performing such procedures should be able to inform owners on what the pet has undergone. When staff fails to offer any information on a surgery that resulted in the death of a pet and even does it with contention at times, I start to question the true level of professionalism of the establishment and staff.

I am DISGUSTED. If you want your pet to come out ALIVE, avoid this clinic at all costs. This clinic has subjected owners and pets alike to tremendous pain. Not only are untrained staff allowed to perform surgeries without supervision, but there is no document as to what complications your pet may have faced during a procedure.If you are compelled to go to Stella Link, I recommend you demand to see the feces and roach infested kennels your pet is kept in before and after surgery. If your pet passes away, expect your "caring" veterinarian Dr. Cheryl or Dr. Ron to yell at you and say "What do you want me to do about it?"

I wrote this same review on Google but find it important to post it on different forums so no one else suffers the unnecessary loss of their pet.My friend's dog died within 1 day of receiving a routine surgical procedure at this vet. While my friends have been grappling for answers, the Stella Link Animal Clinic team has been evasive, insensitive and at times unnecessarily aggressive. They refuse to answer any questions about what could have gone wrong or provide any documentation on the services their dog received while at the clinic and in surgery. In a society where we tend to view our pets as extensions of our family and in the wake of a great loss for my friends, this is simply unacceptable. Do NOT bring your pet here and if you do, be prepared to fight for his or her life.

I would not advise ANYONE to bring their pets here as the clinic is dirty, the staff evasive, and the quality of care is low.

The outside time for your dog means sitting in a cage after it spent all day in a smaller cage inside. See photo evidence. Roaches and bugs are everywhere, like a previous reviewer mentioned. Newspaper is their bedding and sometimes its reused. There has to be a better clinic or hospital.

Hello. Google review readers. My name is Jessica. I am the office manager here at stella link animal clinic. I've been here for 9 years. (I've played every roll here except dr)Recently we've had a few bad reviews. We are taking everything into very careful consideration. Our team strives hard to give the best pet care and customer service around. We are currently making updates to our facility in and out. It saddens us to know people don't understand the meaning of "under construction". Over the past years we've added a number of things to make it more comfortable for our pets/patients and our pet parents. The one thing that is always the same is the level of TLC we give every single pet and patient. If ever there are any concerns please feel free to call or email our office. Caring, wonderful staff. When my dog was very ill, they were supportive. Unfortunately, he had to go to a specialist and didn't make it. My new dog loves Dr. Parma and the staff!

I have met all 3 doctors from this facility and they all have spent a good 8-10 minutes with my dogs just for an annual well visit. They have explained things very well to me, including how to care for our dogs, prevention and treatment, medication usage, etc. Dr. Parma in particular has been great with all my dogs. They don't overprice you which is common in Houston. They recommend further examination if needed but they will try to avoid extra cost for the owner as well, in other words, they won't run unnecessary test unless is really needed. They take walk ins and appointments are pretty easy to schedule as well. Average in/out time is about 30 minutes including wait, doctors visit and payment. Overall am happy with them. Yes, their facility is not as fancy as others, but it's an old building and examination rooms have always been cleaned. All of their staff has been courteous and super sweet with our dogs and they provided excellent care to all of them which is the main thing.

I was there with my senior dog who had collapsed less than thirty minutes earlier. They did an x-ray and they knew she would die soon. Instead of telling us so we could spend her last moments together in happiness, they directed us to a 24/7 care facility during rush hour.
My dog suffocated to death in my arms due to fluid in her lungs while we were stuck in rush hour traffic on 610. My dog hated this vet and I let them take her final moments from me.
Instead of spending her last moments in my arms, I spent them stuck in traffic with her choking to death next to me.
Stella Link had the x-rays. They heard her lungs. They said nothing. This place is sickening.

I wrote the check and left my pet about two hours later the tech called and said "they needed an additional 45 dollars to resedate him"! Im not a genius but im not stupid either. I know when im being taken for a ride. Its close to the holidays and maybe business is slow but overcharging customers shows a lack of intergrity and ethics. Now my dog has a foul order coming from the cast that was applied Thursday. It is only Sunday and i have to take him tomorrow which is Monday to be recasted. I wonder if they are going to charge for a job they didnt do right the first time?

We contracted for a weekend boarding for my 8 yr old dog. We paid $5 extra per day to have someone play with her for 15 minutes, aside from the 4 contracted potty breaks per day she was supposed to get. We did not ask for a bath, since we bathe our dog with our own shampoo & conditioner, and blow dry her hair; its a lengthy process. Needless to say, our dog is potty trained and can "hold it" all day. The lady that received my dog was somewhat nice. On Monday my husband picked our dog up at 8am; she had her paws completely wet. Her pillow & towel were completely soiled & drenched in urine. Our bill was $50 more than originally contracted, and they had charged us for a "bath" that we never authorized for, and she never got, since she smelled like a stock show animal. When he got home, my poor dog drank so much water, she almost drowned herself. Biggest rip off ever!!!!!!! these people should not be authorized to care for anybody's pets!!

I called around to several different places to get a quote on how much the services would cost, and this was the cheapest by far! And, the bill came out to exactly what was claimed beforehand (no hidden fees). If you was a friendly, quick, personal, and inexpensive vet, look no further!!

This place looks kinda rough from the outside, but don't judge a book by it's cover. It has nice techs, vets who are friendly with my pets. They don't charge an office visit fee, so you only pay for shots, meds, services, etc. We had one puppy spayed, and she did really well. Great procedure, great care, and quick recovery. They even called the next few days to continue checking up on her. We've been very happy with the service so far.

I had been going here for 5 years when my dog was attacked by another dog. I went to my vet. They wrapped his leg up and said they couldn't help any further. They never called to check in or on how Scout was and just gave me a number and sent me on my way. This was an extremely traumatizing attack and Scout ended up losing his leg. I was very disappointed in the care. This was the second time I have been disappointed. Another time they had given Scout shots without asking me when he was there for heartworm meds and that is all... He had already received his shot a month earlier and the groomer who gave him the shot called them to tell them. Thankfully he didn't get sick. I refused to pay since they didn't ask and I had already paid for it. The vet literally yelled at me. I was so shocked I just walked out.
