Very fast help with my extremely sick dog that needed urgent care. (This was July 2016) My vet of 20 yrs was unable to treat her. So I called Animal Hospital of Humble, they got her in very quickly and began an IV. They saved her life! Ms. Kitty was amazing during LuLu's overnight stay and kept me notified throughout the 2 days. I love the facility, very clean, everyone was so helpful. The cost was very high, $650.00 but it was considered emergency treatment and were able to give her 24 hr care. Thank you all so much! Read Less

We have used this vet for our past two dogs. Great staff and Vet. We had two dogs fixed here and reg visits   Our last visit was sad one for our family, as we had to put our dog to sleep for autoimmune problem that couldn't be cured. Never fun and always sad. After years of goin here with our 2 dogs, we set up an appointment  to get their nails trimmed, they ask if I have time for an exam of the dogs or would like to schedule  one. I stated I did not have time to do this today. They went about it any way. Then charged us after we stated we didn't want it. Just wanted nails and flea meds. They did not want to fix the issue. They were very respectful and helpful when I brought in my cat. He had feline leukemia and they didn't sugarcoat it. They told me straight up that it would be expensive to try to treat him and he would just keep getting sick. I really appreciate how compassionate they were and how they helped me get through the process of putting him to sleep. I came in as a walk in i brought my cat of 10 years in she had been sick for a while and took her to several other vet offices all the other places couldnt tell me what was going on they gave me several options but the best was to lay her down to rest it was hard for me they gave me time to decide with out pressure. They respected my wished on cremation. The price was a little expenisive but the care and quality of customer service was so great i didnt mind paying extra. I have 5 other cats that im switching them to animal hospital of humble for further care of my babies. I recommend them to anyone who needs answers and someone to be honest to them. Every time I come here it's a great experience. Dr. Murphy and Dr. Parsons both know what they are doing and are some of the best vets I've been too. The staff is just as great. They always remember my dogs no matter how long it's been and they are always so helpful. When my mini bully ate a bunch of meds I was so worried. They checked her out and everything was fine but, the nurse even gave me her cell incase something happened in the middle of the night she could walk me thru it. That's going above and beyond. Dr. Parsons and Dr. Murphy are knowledgeable and caring. I regrettably lost two of my kitties last month...a new kitten I had adopted, Sissy; and one of my older cats, Pepper. All the vet techs, office staff and docs were so sweet and caring and tried to get my babies better. I so appreciate them and all they do!! There are 2 doctors at this location. Dr. Parson and Dr. Murphey. I have always seen Dr. Murphey. At first it was just they way the schedules worked out. After a couple visits with my one cat, it was just easier because she knew her history. I have 7 cats, I started with 8. One of my cats was always ill with upper respiratory infections. Dr. Murphey informed me some cats are prone to chronic infections, like humans. (I am one said human.) We tried different medications and different diets. We even thought it could be a food allergy and put her on Prescription Diet Z/d, which is not cheap. They gave me all of the samples they had knowing I had 8 cats total. There were a few times I called when she starting vomitting. Technician Kitty had given me a few suggestions on what I can do. It saved me time and money. Other vets wouldn't do that. They would want you to bring in your animal and pay for a visit. In the end, we came to a conclusion it was due to FIP which is incurable and fatal. The only thing I could do was end her suffering. I love all of the technicians (there are 3 who assist with visits,) the front staff and Dr. Murphey. I met Dr. Parson once and had a wonderful experience with him too. I recommend everyone to this vet. I had to wait a maximum of 30 minutes after my appt. and 15 mins in the exam room. Surgery ran late.Read Less

I waited an hour and 40 minutes past my appointment time to be seen by just the vet tech. Once I was finally taken back to a room I wait another 30 minutes for the vet who was accompanied by a different vet tech. This woman treated me like I abused my animals and I knew nothing. The annual exam I asked for for my cat was a few touches at best. He also needed his rabies shot. It was one day past it being due and the woman was talking about how horrible I was and I didn't care about my cat for making him wait one day. I will never go back to this place. Read Less

I do not recommend this place to anyone. I took my dog and paid about 350 just for a check up and they told me nothing was wrong with him and called me back the next day to take him back the day after that for another check up and they would charge me again for the visit. The first time they charged me for all kinds of tests and didnt find anything wrong. They told me to give him the medication they gave me. he later died after them telling me nothing was wrong. never again will I go back to this place. Read Less

We moved down here from Illinois a year ago, my Corgi Bailey was throwing up bile, and he was down to 29 lbs.... He's suppose to be around 38-40 lbs.... Took him here, come to find out he has cirrhosis of the liver.... The vet up in Illinois never caught it... Which made my husband and I very angry.... If we didn't come here and get all these test done... Bailey wouldn't be here with us today.... So now he's on liver supplements till thee end ( he will be 11 Oct 25) he's like a puppy now... You're always a bit hesitant when changing vets. We had moved to Humble and needed to figure out why our dog kept drinking so much water and peeing all over the house! (He is house broken). Dr. Murphy and Staff - Ms. Kitty and Alicia are absolutely amazing. They made me feel welcomed and I immediately got the trustworthy feeling to place my fur baby in their care. My dog has been diagnosed with diabetes and they're very diligent on monitoring his progress. They even give you credit on your account for participating in surveys! So far so great!!!!! Read Less

Just moved to Humble and the lady in our apartment complex office told me about this place. I found the staff and doctor to be very friendly. The prices are better then the last place I took my dog. It is in a little house down from the Old Macdonald farm. I will return. I've been coming here now for 2 years and I really enjoy the staff. Last summer my dog was attacked and the nurse saw her for free just to make sure she was ok, doctor Was in surgery and couldn't see her right away, she told me what to do and what to watch for if I needed to come back. The dog that attacked her we found out had rotten teeth and were falling out. So all her bruises were from the dogs strength of his jaw. I'm so relieved. But I do highly recommend this office. And they are open on Saturdays. You can always do drop off if you can't stay and come back and pick up your pet. Drop off hours are 7-8 am. In not sure if it's offered on Saturday's. Read Less
