When I take my pet to Ingleside Animal Hospital I know they will receive the best of care. The Dr. and his staff are friendly and take their time to explain what is going on with my pet. My dog came in with symptoms hard to explain, but the Dr. made sense of what was going on with him. He gave him a thorough exam and diagnosed his illness, all the while explaining each step to me. I cannot thank them enough for the kindness they showed to me and my little dog. This is truly the only place I will go when my pets are needing special care.

He takes time out of his busy day to call me and discuss important little issues (which do ocassionally pop up) with me about the finer details of taking care of my cats and my dog (and offers up extra suggestions). These are my babies and I appreciate all that the entire staff do for me as a customer and friend.

Had to take my near 13 year old pug to 24 hour emergency pet clinic on Airline which I also highly recommend late on a Friday night. After being released, we came strait here because they are the best! Ricky and his team took care of Roadee like he was their own. He had emergency surgery for bladder stones, and if not for these folks, he would not be with us. The staff is wonderful and Ricky takes great pride in what he does and it shows. Thank you all so much for all that you did and for everything you did that you didn't have to. Y'all went above and beyond and we are truly grateful.

The story about the puppy getting his head caught in the door is absolutely sickening my husband and I lost 2 of our beloved family members with in 3 weeks of each other sure to his money hungry neglect in the care of our babies. We trusted him for 8 years and people on the street would tell us what a horrible person he was but we stuck by him in blind faith. Well now I tell everyone to run. Run as fast as you can with your babies and your wallet. This horrific relationship is not over until the fat lady sings������������

Unfortunately, this morning, I accidently shut my new little puppys head in my car door. The whole situation, and the majority of the day has been horrific....my puppy is still barely hanging on. But ...
Unfortunately, this morning, I accidently shut my new little puppys head in my car door. The whole situation, and the majority of the day has been horrific....my puppy is still barely hanging on. But what's worse, is when we rushed our puppy to the vets office in Ingleside (Ingleside Animal Hospital) (literally rushed, my husband had no shoes, wallet or phone on him), they refused to start treatment until they had a $400 deposit. Well, our wallet was still at the house. My husband, upset as he rightly should b, said that's inhumane but we will b right back cuz we had no choice but to go back to the house to get the wallet. Well when he returns, the vet tells him we can take our business elsewhere and hands my puppy who is seizuring, drooling at the mouth and whimpering, to my husband, and then says the anti inflammatory shot they gave her is on the house..... thoughts?

A puppy was brought in by a distressed family today. The puppy had a head injury and the vet REFUSED to treat the puppy until the family paid $400 up front. The husband who was half dressed had forgotten his wallet in the rush to get the puppy in. The vet demanded the money up front so the husband left to get the wallet. When he returned the vet handed the puppy back to the family and told them to take thier business elsewhere. The puppy was in seizures when they handed him over. NEVER going back here ever again. EVER.

Elizabeth and Dr. Ricky took great care of our wounded rescued puppy. ALL THE STAFF is very kind, honest, and knowledgeable. They took great care of Scout, and made a plan for her care as she was injured, and has an infection. As an added bonus their 17 year old cat Jack was a total love bug! I'd say he is an emotional support cat (and hospital mascot). I couldn't be happier. We will be using them for our other furry babies in the future. Thank you Ingleside Animal Hospital!

We hadn't had a chance to establish new doctors for ourselves yet let alone a vet for our fur babies... when our 4 month old French bulldog "toast" broke her leg yesterday morning I had a horrid day... having to meet all new people in an emergency situation. First vet of the day that I saw was a really nice woman who referred me to a specialist.. which was way out of our price range and no matter what angle my husband and I looked at it we knew we could never afford the cost. then I was referred to Rickey at ingleside animal hospital! This man is an amazing doctor! He was incredibly honest, thorough and compassionate. Just let me reiterate the word HONEST! Something you seldomly find in a person. I felt a weight lift off my shoulder and instantly knew I could trust him to perform bone surgery on my baby. I wish I could give him more than just 5 stars!

Dr. Broussard will definitely be the Vet that I take all of my furrbabies to in the future. I appreciate his straight forward approach. He explains things clearly, & does not perform unnecessary procedures to rack up a high bill. I am a self-professed worry-wart of a cat mom. I respect, admire, & appreciate that Dr. Broussard does not take advantage of that. I know many other Veterinarians would! He puts me at ease with witty banter & great energy. His diagnosis has always come with exceptional advice on how to treat my pet's ailments, how to strive to prevent future flair ups, & how to maintain continued good health for them. I learn something new & beneficial every time I visit his office because he is patient with me & answers all of my questions. Dr. Broussard is not only an excellent Veterinarian for your pets, he's a great Doctor for pet owners to communicate with. Thank you Dr. Broussard and Staff!

My Sister recommended Dr. Ricky to me for my cats after my husband and I retired here in Ingleside. I can say, with all honesty I have never felt more confidence in a veterinarian in such a short time. He takes time to explain in detail each issue that is connected to your pet's care and I truly believe that my older, geriatric kitties have just struck the motherlode of longevity in just a few visits. My other vets have treated the one issue I would go to them for and then would hustle out the door. Dr. Broussard, within a few moments of examination, diagnosed my cat with high blood pressure and set up a plan to explore the other problems that seem to be contributing to a downturn in his health. He takes his time, is gentle and caring to your pet, extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. I also loved his staff, from the office ladies to the vet techs. If you are looking for a wonderful veterinarian and staff, look no further than Ingleside Animal Hospital.

I can't say enough good things about Ingleside Animal Clinic! Another vet diagnosed my 8 year old Maltipoo with a torn ACL and told me that immediate surgery was my only option. I decided to get a second opinion and went to Dr. Broussard who recommended 6-8 weeks of crate confinement and regular injections of Adequan. This treatment option has worked wonders for my dog - she no longer limps or acts like she is in any pain. I am very grateful that Dr. Broussard offered an option other than surgery - this was the right choice for me and my dog.
All 3 of my dogs are now treated at Ingleside and I couldn't be happier. The staff is professional, friendly compassionate and well-trained.

They didn't give up on her. They did anything and everything possible to treat my fur baby. I thank God for everything they did to help my dog become healthy again. Describe my experience, wow, let's see.....my family spends our winters in the Texas sun...We have a German Shepherd who had developed a problem with one of his testicles....(He jumped a fence, and tore his scrotum) We were referred to Dr. Rickey ? Went to his office, without an appointment, we just showed up as a walk in....We were met by a rude receptionist....Was told to sit and wait....Sat for over an hour, in the waiting room.....The staff here, was actually arguing with one another !! That particular day, the entire workplace seemed to be in chaos....Even the Vet, was short tempered.....You could here him screeching like a girl....75 minutes of that negative energy, was enough for me and Fritz, we left....I Google searched another Vet.....Drove over to Portland Animal Hospital.....We walked in, and within 15 minutes, the good Dr. had Fritz's scrotum stiched up, and saved his testicle....THANK GOD FOR THE WONDERFUL DOCTOR @ PORTLAND ANIMAL HOSPITAL....I can't say enough good things about their demeanor and care....Thank you, again......

I have not found another Vet that does that! Don't trust your family to anyone else! We have 4 cats and 2 dogs. Because of his care they live a long life and we enjoy them more.

Had to take my near 13 year old pug to 24 hour emergency pet clinic on Airline which I also highly recommend late on a Friday night. After being released, we came strait here because they are the best! Ricky and his team took care of Roadee like he was their own. He had emergency surgery for bladder stones, and if not for these folks, he would not be with us. The staff is wonderful and Ricky takes great pride in what he does and it shows. Thank you all so much for all that you did and for everything you did that you didn't have to. Y'all went above and beyond and we are truly grateful.

I love Dr. Ricky, so good with my furbabies. Does not run unnecessary tests and very straightforward. A bit of a smart ass but I love that about him, he puts me at ease and my babies are then at ease...

We trusted him for 8 years and people on the street would tell us what a horrible person he was but we stuck by him in blind faith. Well now I tell everyone to run. Run as fast as you can with your babies and your wallet. This horrific relationship is not over until the fat lady sings������������

Unfortunately, this morning, I accidently shut my new little puppys head in my car door. The whole situation, and the majority of the day has been horrific....my puppy is still barely hanging on. But what's worse, is when we rushed our puppy to the vets office in Ingleside (Ingleside Animal Hospital) (literally rushed, my husband had no shoes, wallet or phone on him), they refused to start treatment until they had a $400 deposit. Well, our wallet was still at the house. My husband, upset as he rightly should b, said that's inhumane but we will b right back cuz we had no choice but to go back to the house to get the wallet. Well when he returns, the vet tells him we can take our business elsewhere and hands my puppy who is seizuring, drooling at the mouth and whimpering, to my husband, and then says the anti inflammatory shot they gave her is on the house..... thoughts?

A puppy was brought in by a distressed family today. The puppy had a head injury and the vet REFUSED to treat the puppy until the family paid $400 up front. The husband who was half dressed had forgotten his wallet in the rush to get the puppy in. The vet demanded the money up front so the husband left to get the wallet. When he returned the vet handed the puppy back to the family and told them to take thier business elsewhere. The puppy was in seizures when they handed him over. NEVER going back here ever again. EVER.

Elizabeth and Dr. Ricky took great care of our wounded rescued puppy. ALL THE STAFF is very kind, honest, and knowledgeable. They took great care of Scout, and made a plan for her care as she was injured, and has an infection. As an added bonus their 17 year old cat Jack was a total love bug! I'd say he is an emotional support cat (and hospital mascot). I couldn't be happier. We will be using them for our other furry babies in the future. Thank you Ingleside Animal Hospital!

We hadn't had a chance to establish new doctors for ourselves yet let alone a vet for our fur babies... when our 4 month old French bulldog "toast" broke her leg yesterday morning I had a horrid day... having to meet all new people in an emergency situation. First vet of the day that I saw was a really nice woman who referred me to a specialist.. which was way out of our price range and no matter what angle my husband and I looked at it we knew we could never afford the cost. then I was referred to Rickey at ingleside animal hospital! This man is an amazing doctor! He was incredibly honest, thorough and compassionate. Just let me reiterate the word HONEST! Something you seldomly find in a person. I felt a weight lift off my shoulder and instantly knew I could trust him to perform bone surgery on my baby. I wish I could give him more than just 5 stars!

Dr. Broussard will definitely be the Vet that I take all of my furrbabies to in the future. I appreciate his straight forward approach. He explains things clearly, & does not perform unnecessary procedures to rack up a high bill. I am a self-professed worry-wart of a cat mom. I respect, admire, & appreciate that Dr. Broussard does not take advantage of that. I know many other Veterinarians would! He puts me at ease with witty banter & great energy. His diagnosis has always come with exceptional advice on how to treat my pet's ailments, how to strive to prevent future flair ups, & how to maintain continued good health for them. I learn something new & beneficial every time I visit his office because he is patient with me & answers all of my questions. Dr. Broussard is not only an excellent Veterinarian for your pets, he's a great Doctor for pet owners to communicate with. Thank you Dr. Broussard and Staff!

My Sister recommended Dr. Ricky to me for my cats after my husband and I retired here in Ingleside. I can say, with all honesty I have never felt more confidence in a veterinarian in such a short time. He takes time to explain in detail each issue that is connected to your pet's care and I truly believe that my older, geriatric kitties have just struck the motherlode of longevity in just a few visits. My other vets have treated the one issue I would go to them for and then would hustle out the door. Dr. Broussard, within a few moments of examination, diagnosed my cat with high blood pressure and set up a plan to explore the other problems that seem to be contributing to a downturn in his health. He takes his time, is gentle and caring to your pet, extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. I also loved his staff, from the office ladies to the vet techs. If you are looking for a wonderful veterinarian and staff, look no further than Ingleside Animal Hospital.

I can't say enough good things about Ingleside Animal Clinic! Another vet diagnosed my 8 year old Maltipoo with a torn ACL and told me that immediate surgery was my only option. I decided to get a second opinion and went to Dr. Broussard who recommended 6-8 weeks of crate confinement and regular injections of Adequan. This treatment option has worked wonders for my dog - she no longer limps or acts like she is in any pain. I am very grateful that Dr. Broussard offered an option other than surgery - this was the right choice for me and my dog.
All 3 of my dogs are now treated at Ingleside and I couldn't be happier. The staff is professional, friendly compassionate and well-trained.

They didn't give up on her. They did anything and everything possible to treat my fur baby. I thank God for everything they did to help my dog become healthy again. Describe my experience, wow, let's see.....my family spends our winters in the Texas sun...We have a German Shepherd who had developed a problem with one of his testicles....(He jumped a fence, and tore his scrotum) We were referred to Dr. Rickey ? Went to his office, without an appointment, we just showed up as a walk in....We were met by a rude receptionist....Was told to sit and wait....Sat for over an hour, in the waiting room.....The staff here, was actually arguing with one another !! That particular day, the entire workplace seemed to be in chaos....Even the Vet, was short tempered.....You could here him screeching like a girl....75 minutes of that negative energy, was enough for me and Fritz, we left....I Google searched another Vet.....Drove over to Portland Animal Hospital.....We walked in, and within 15 minutes, the good Dr. had Fritz's scrotum stiched up, and saved his testicle....THANK GOD FOR THE WONDERFUL DOCTOR @ PORTLAND ANIMAL HOSPITAL....I can't say enough good things about their demeanor and care....Thank you, again......

I have not found another Vet that does that! Don't trust your family to anyone else! We have 4 cats and 2 dogs. Because of his care they live a long life and we enjoy them more.
