Great, just set an appt if able. Just took our sick dog here, good facilities and knowledgeable staff, obviously being open 24 hours is a huge huge plus. Walk ins may experience long wait times (when we walked in there was only 1 person in front of us, when we left the waiting room was full) so always best to set an appt if able. I had a visit at 2 in the morning yesterday, when we came in we were treated so kindly, the environment was very clean and comfortable. I was worried about my dog but the environment definitely helped with the stress level. The staff was very friendly and nice throughout the whole process. Very iffy on this place most workers were incredible and super sweet. They loved our sweet Marley and made him feel comfortable. After a month and a half of visits at another vet for “allergies,” my pup started coughing very loudly (like a goose honk) and had breathing issues. I called that morning and was able to get an appointment the same day. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. They took Ziggy back right away to get his vitals, and I was in the waiting room less than 5 minutes before they called me back to a room. They found he had a bad respiratory infection and a severe yeast infection in his ears that the other vet somehow missed. Not only did I finally feel like I was getting real help for my baby, the process was so easy and quick. Everyone from the ladies at the front desk, to the techs, to the vet herself (Dr. Fischer), loved on him and treated him as though he was their own. They got all his prescriptions prepared and even got in touch with a compounding pharmacy for me so I could get his special eye medication at a cheaper cost. 3/5 stars. Front office staff and vet assistant was pretty great, warm and welcoming, friendly to my dog and respectful to my girlfriend and I. The veterinary Doctor was the main issue, if you let the 2 and a half hour wait slide, in their defense we were a walk in visit, so that's understandable. However, my dog was brought in for a noticeable skin allergic reaction... the vet assistant asked upon arrival if he'd been into contact with any new things, we said no (besides a new food that he'd been eating for a month) but the actual Doctor didn't even ask what brand I'd been feeding him! In fact, the Doctor had nothing to say about what his allergy might be. All that was mentioned was "It's hard to tell" which yes, it can be but it'd be nice if they attempted to at least give us advice on what to keep him away from. (Maybe there's a common dog allergy or something) On top of that, they ordered a blood test for him (cost was $100) just because it was a 'maybe' issue. My girlfriend and I are early 20's, with normal student based income. Even though we were hesitant, we said sure, and ends up (shocker) that wasn't the issue. He was having an allergic reaction, like we had originally thought. On top of that, she prescribed 3 different medicines, also super expensive. Once receiving the blood work back, I saw his chart and noticed that something on in was marked low. I asked the Doctor what it was, and I could almost /hear/ her roll her eyes. "It's not important. We only worry about it if it's too high" Was all that was given as an answer. I never learned what it was, or how I could help get it to a 'normal' level instead of low. My girlfriend and I felt like the doctor did diagnose my dog, and got him his medicine, but she didn't care to find out what it was about (or how we could prevent it) or deal with anything else besides straight to the point. If my dog is still being exposed to what he's allergic to, the medicine and care they provided will be considered useless. Not happy with the Doctor! Everything else, perfect. Read Less

I was referred to Creekside Pet Center by Penny Paws because the vet there didn’t want to see my dog 40 mins before they were closing. Well it was a blessing in disguise because I didn’t realize the bad service I was really recieving at Penny Paws until my first visit here. The front desk people were extremely nice and welcoming. When my dog was checked by the vet they only suggested things they thought was necessary no up selling what so ever. The veterinarian was very understanding and trustworthy. It was a very friendly atmosphere! As for Penny Paws they claim to be a low cost vet but let me tell you they charge you for the most unnecessary things you don’t even need. It’s crazy that I paid less here then I would have paid at Penny Paws. My last visit at Penny Paws when they wanted to see my dog they charged me a walk in fee, a visit fee, a OSHA fee, then all the medication fees. I don’t walk out of there at least spending $300 for a small visit as for Creekside I only paid $112!! What a saving! I would highly recommend coming here. The visit fee is $49.99 but definitely worth it! The wait is a little long but that’s because it’s really popular and there is a lot of happy dog parents there so that tells me a lot about their practice. Read Less

Took our male cat, Tom Tom, in after his PU surgery because he was not peeing. Even though they were not the referring clinic or the ones who performed the surgery, they were able to see us. The vet and the vet techs that saw us were wonderful and caring. We were walk in, so we did have to wait a bit, but they're absolutely wonderful and caring people. The price is great and since it wasn't an emergency, the bill wasn't terrible. If your pet isn't in need of emergency care, this is a great place. We're going to switch and make this clinic our primary vet care for all of our cats. Today, I found my go-to vet for my dog, Starbuck.My husband and I are going on a trip soon, and needed to update her vaccinations before we can board her. I called this morning, got an appointment later in the afternoon, and that was that. It's a liiiiiiiiiiiiittle on the pricier side, but private practices usually are. Last weekend, after a disastrous experience with Dogs Rule Resort (see my review for more details), we called Creekside in a panic. They were kind, patient, and reassuring for boarding our puppy. We were able to watch her during playtime on their webcams, and received text updates from her wellness check. All items we brought with her were returned to us, along with a note from one of the boarding employees commenting on how much our pup enjoyed her stay.We were able to call and check in whenever we wanted, and she came home soft and smelling good from a fresh bath. The people are very nice, friendly, and they seem very competent. I do not feel like I really know any of the vets. I think I get a different one each time. There are lots of techs and receptionists, so you never have to wait very long. Also, they have well-kept boarding facilities and they sell foods and chews. I do think this is a rather expensive place. It costs $20 to have my dog's nails trimmed. Of course, vet care is expensive, and other vets may charge about the same. I had a late night situation with our cherished family pet. The tech and the doctor were very helpful and had an excellent bedside manner. The receptionist was very professional, helpful, and gave me the best advice based on symptoms I described to her. I had already taken some night-time medication that makes me sleepy. I was ok on the drive there, but by the time I was ready to leave I knew I shouldn't drive home. Last week my family had the uncomfortable responsibility of being involved with handling end-of-life tasks of our family dog of the past 14 years. Some 14 years ago we adopted €Buddy€ from the Ft. Worth Animal Shelter as a six weeks old Dalmatian / Pointer mix. Back then, he was headed to the gas chamber and my family was so happy to have €rescued€ him and bring him home as our new pet. During the following 14 years, he brought endless moments of joy, loyalty, playfulness, security, protection and watch-care to our family. He was a perfect dog for our small children to love on. He was a perfect dog to handle table scraps and regular dog food alike. And, he was a perfect dog to travel with, to listen and talk to and to just be around. We will miss him and always fondly remember him. In the past 14 years, I cannot recall a single time his tail was not wagging. Over this past year, we monitored and treated a collection of tumors he was having. They receded to a manageable point. However, about a month ago three of them aggressively grew and led to open bleeding. Our beloved pet was getting much older far too quickly. Dr. Loveless was consulted and she treated what could be treated and advised on what could be advised and tested what could be tested. Suffice it to say, we had to do what was in Buddy€s best interest which included end-of-life decisions for him. Dr. Loveless is probably the most professionally caring veterinarian I have met in 45+ years of having pets and having to experience another similar situation with my dogs. I have a border collie who over the past four years has been my constant and enduring companion. In January, she lacerated her leg on a tree branch bad enough that I could've stuck my thumb in it. I live in Nebraska and had a vet who was not my usual vet take care of it and her stitches wound up breaking loose. Dr. Fischer saw my girl while I was in Texas for a wedding and I could not have been happier with the job she did. She determined the wound was deep enough that if I did restitch she would need a drain. At the same time they also gave me more affordable options which I appreciated. We ended up going with the drain option and I was *so* happy they did blood work to determine her compatibility with the sedatives they gave her and they did monitoring on her. Everyone at this vet's office was incredibly helpful and caring. It absolutely shows the degree of southern hospitality they pay to both your animal and you. I had to pay roughly 720 dollars for this service but it was worth every penny. 3 months later and my girl is doing great, and I absolutely attribute it to the care she received from all members of staff. If I was in the area I would use them for every service my fur kids require. Might I add my border collie absolutely hates vets and they paid her the best care to make her not feel scared during her experience. I also really appreciated that after the sedation and procedures where completed I received an update from the vet and not just someone who was in the office. We picked up our sweet boxer from home-boarding care and noticed he had a deep puncture wound. I found out that Creekside was open 24/7 and immediately took him in on a Saturday afternoon. We were worked in very quickly and seen by Shae the tech, and Dr. Loveless. The wound was infected, thankfully both our dog and our family were treated with kindness and respect. Our bull terrier managed to sneak a whole bag of brownies off the counter yesterday and it was a relief to be able to take him here on a Sunday evening! The staff was kind and informed us of everything they'd be doing to take care of our sweet boy. Feb. 2, 2017 around 8:30pm our beloved Zoey, a 13.5 year old lab had a severe seizure followed with lung complications. Reluctantly we had to put her down. Lisa is our preferred groomer who has always taken very good care of our Huskie MIA. My sister in law also has frequented Creekside Pet Center over the years for her cats. Had an emergency with my dog Radar. I can't remember the techs name but he worked tonight 1/20/17 during the hours of 6:45 pm and 9pm while we were there. Explained everything to us so well and was so great with our baby. Dr. Putnam was also great. They both loved on my baby like they absolutely cared about him. He is having an emergency surgery right now with Dr Putnam and although we had to pay up front - as most animal owners know that isn't uncommon - they worked with us and never pressured us and let us had time to figure our finances out to make sure our Radar could get the help he needed. We had to put our baby girl Maverick down a little after 3 AM Monday morning, December 26, 2016. She was almost 16. Dr. Gardner was fantastic and more caring than the place we had used all of her life. You could tell that he and his nurse cared for our pup and it broke their heart that we had to put her down. Dr. Gardner explained exactly what would happen and prayed over us and Maverick as she passed away. It was such a comfort. When we are ready to get another dog we will for sure use Creekside Pet Care Center. The place was more cozy and had a home feeling to it instead of a cold harsh place where your dog is just another number. It doesn't matter if it's a routine visit or emergency care (unfortunately we've experienced both), they are very thorough and so pleasant to work with. Everyone here has a true love of animals. I took my Charlie dog here three times already. He has cushings and a serious throat problem. I have had excellent service at a reasonable price for a 24 hour emergency vet. I would have paid three times this price at the grapevine emergency vet location. The staff has been so supportive and the vet takes his time and explains. They are not my primary vet. Taking my dog to this place was a huge mistake! It's all about money! I paid 500 for an exam, blood work, and 2 x-rays! I was given a quote that it would be 2500 to do surgery on my dog. When we came back with the money they tacked on an extra 2000 dollars! Mind you I already paid 500! I felt like all they wanted was to use your love for your pet to milk you of all you have! 5000! Ridiculous! According to them the Vet we saw last night and the Vet we saw today have different prices! The Vets assistant had to of been the most cold hearted person I've ever dealt with! Knowing we cared enough to come up with the first estimate they thought. .. Hmmm let's tack on an extra 2 grand! I don't wish this place on my worst enemy! What happened to conservative Vets? Also they said we'll it could be an extra 2 grand when we go in and it might be less. I asked what happens when you can't afford the difference do you allow payments? The actual Vet said .. We either sew him back up the way he is or just don't let him wake up! WTH? Seriously? ?? Please ppl go some where else, where they actually care about animals!Read Less

We took our English bulldog Achilles here today because he had bladder stones making it impossible for him to urinate...anyway these people were honest and up front they gave us several options to also accommodate our price limit the staff was great! Friendly, helpful, intelligent and not there to nickel and dime you they actually care about there customers and even more care for our big boy! They had him back home in a few hours! This is one of the worst vets I have ever visited. They continually push for teeth cleanings and superfluous procedures for your dog. Additionally, they charge you an "examination fee" for follow-up appointments. That's absolutely ridiculous. Other vets charge you for the initial exam, then if medicine is prescribed, they will do a short follow up for free. This is a "big city" vet that is taking advantage of customers.Read Less

There are no words to describe the amazing doctors and staff at this animal hospital. They are compassionate, helpful, kind and caring towards your pet as well as towards you, the pet parent. They practice medicine the way we would all want to be treated ourselves, except theirs is for the animals we love who cannot tell us how they feel.They answer any and all questions, no matter how many times you call, and have so much patience. This is a clinic from long ago when people cared and weren't in it for the money but doing what they do for the love of animals. There is no clinic that can can compare as far as I am concerned below is 10 days later Update on this post. Once again the caring staff and doctors at Creekside have been here for us. We took Buddy in and his ear infection had traveled to the Pinna where he had had a large hematoma. They treated him, sent home new medicines and have since called to check on his progress.
