BEWARE of Dr. Blake Rochell at this clinic! He missed END STAGE CANCER in my beautiful Labrador Retriever, Teddy Bear. I do not blame Mr. Rochell for my dog's death. Cancer is no doctor's fault. However, when you hear the details of our experience you will see that this man MISSED and MISDIAGNOSED our pet on November 20, 2017. Teddy Bear died on December 8, 2017 of END STAGE CANCER. That means this cancer had been in his body for a VERY long time and the doctors at Keller Animal Clinic missed completely that he even had cancer. Our Story: Teddy Bear had been coughing, getting tired on walks, and I reported this to the doctors before 11/20 and at a follow up visit on 11/20/17 for a skin issue we were also treating due to an oral medicine this clinic prescribed to him. I asked for a heart worm test. It was negative. A blood test came back normal. His pursuit for what was causing my dog to have shortness of breath and not being able to walk even half way around our block was DONE. This guy chalked up my dog's coughing and inability to make it a few feet on a walk to "OLD AGE!" No more tests were done or offered. Had this doctor pursued an actual diagnosis for this shortness of breath and his inability to walk a normal walk around the block, he would have discovered my dog had SPLEEN CANCER that Metastasized to LUNG CANCER! Had we discovered this with a simple X-Ray my family would have had time to prepare for the fact that our dog was DYING! Instead, we were left thinking he was FINE and NOT TO WORRY! On December 8, 2017, Teddy Bear was unable to compensate any further for the cancer filling his lungs! We discovered, by a simple X-Ray, that Teddy Bear's entire lung on one side was completely whited out in the X-Ray with cancer. He was literally breathing with ONE LUNG and that lung was filled with cancer too but still had room for air flow. THIS is what was causing my precious dog to cough and not be able to make it on walks!!!!! NOT OLD AGE!!!!!! We were told it was OLD AGE and NOT TO WORRY! This was my husband's dog. He was on a business trip and rushed home to make it there to say good bye to Teddy Bear but Teddy Bear was suffering too much and we had to relieve Teddy Bear of his suffering and so his OWNER did not even get to say good-bye to him!!!! We were NOT TOLD HE WAS DYING! This guy MISSED END STAGE CANCER!!!! I will also mention that on November 20, 2017 another woman came into this clinic HYSTERICAL running into the office carrying her little pet screaming out for all to hear "YOU SAID SHE WAS FINE AND SENT HER HOME AND NOW SHE IS DEAD!!!!!!!" I was SO distraught over this traumatic event in this office that I was crying for this poor woman and her pet!!!! I should have known then that something was SERIOUSLY WRONG with this clinic! She was told “be quiet” We were happy at this clinic for a long time. But we never dealt with SERIOUS life threatening illness! How would we know they could be so inexperienced and so totally negligent when it came to Serious Illnesses if we did not experience their lack of expertise????? We could not have known really. We learned the hard way. Please heed our warning and RUN from this clinic!!!!! When our Teddy Bear died we did not get a call from this office or even a caring gesture. When I called yesterday to ask about what happened on November 20, 2017, I did NOT get a call back. I did NOT get a call back today either! I had to call them and talk to this guy who said "I have been too busy to call you back." What a complete and total heartless and incompetent sorry excuse for a vet. When we brought Teddy Bear into their clinic on December 8, 2017, the X-Ray machine was BROKEN! Because of this, we had to for another clinic on top of the $100 we paid this Keller clinic that day because their equipment was BROKEN! That is maybe why they did NOT X-Ray my dog on November 20, 2017 too! This is an OLD office with OLD equipment and NEW Inexperienced vets. RUN RUN RUN RUN!!! Great clinic! Friendly staff and the awesome vet techs are always prompt and courteous. The doctors are professional and compassionate. The office and exam rooms are clean and spacious. And they don't try to talk you into unnecessary tests and services. Yay! Read Less

Our sweet puppy decided to swallow some wood chips today which caused her to almost die. She was gasping for air and could barely breath. We drove to the closest vet hoping they could assist. Sadly they refused to look at our dog as she gasped for air until we filled out paper work. We dropped the paperwork and sped to Keller Animal Clinic. They met us at the door and instantly took our little girl back. They saved her life! We will never go anywhere else but Keller Animal Clinic moving forward! Read Less

I have personally had nothing but good experiences with the Keller Animal Clinic after numerous visits over the years. My dog, who was very much a loved family member and faithful companion, needed humane euthanasia. This was an extremely difficult step to decide to take for my friend of 14 years, but it was necessary. She will be forever missed. The staff made this process as easy as possible and could see I was having difficulty coping. From my perspective, they couldn't have done anything better. In the past, this clinic performed a surgery and various regular dog appointments with a personal touch and professionalism that is difficult to find these days. Read Less

Very Rude today, never even got to see a doctor. My dogs has open wounds from his allergies and the tech was trying to tell me how good he looked. She was so rude! She snatched my dog took him in the back for 30 sec. then said here. I just can't believe how rude she was! Read Less

Front office staff is friendly and professional. However - we have had several experiences where it seems we are billed excessively. A "comprehensive exam" is $50 takes less than 30 seconds and consists of listening to the heart and looking at the teeth of the pet. They charge for this no matter what you bring the pet in for. I Love Dr. Rochell he shows compassion and concern when caring for your pets. He takes time with you and answers all your questions. Dr. Meyerdirk is just as good very knowledgable. Their office is always clean and they don't let you sit around in the waiting room forever. The office is on the Main St. and the parking can be a little tricky, but I won't go anywhere else if I don't have to. The ladies are all very nice as well and their pricing is fair. Read Less

I have been brings my pets here for 3 years.  I cannot say enough for the special care they give them, and best prices around.  Most vets will refer you else where for surgery, but they take care of you animal in house.  Very loving environment for pet and caring for their customers. Surgery for my pup was 1/2 of what others would have charged. Highly recommend. Read Less

500$ for tests for my cat and some cat tylonal. I feel like I got robbed. They did not discuss pricing in detail . The said it will be this much, and then when you pay for it , you can see all the unneeded and unessary charges broken down. All for a cat that they still can't figure out what is wrong with. 3 days later my poor cat looks as tho she is almost dead. No follow up call. All tests and procedures seemed rushed.Read Less

Awesome place to take your fur babies!! Spent a terrible night with our baby...no doubt she was experiencing a real issue. I called at 7:45 and the phone was answered . I explained her systoms and the staff member told us to bring her in. We arrived at 8:00 and they took us right in. She was diagnosed and required surgery. They had taken her in immediately and by 11:00, I received the call stating she had done great and was resting comfortably. We have three schnauzer's and I will never go anywhere else. If you want to be robbed blind, come to this Vet. I recently had to bring my minature datschund in because he's been sick. They wanted to do some blood work, I've usually paid around $50-$75.00 for this at other vets. Imagine my surprise when I found out the blood work was over $140.00. They also wanted to XRAY him (75.00 more) and do other tests. They won't bother to tell you how much this stuff costs, I literally had to stop them from taking my dog on the xray because I wanted to know how much it was. I spent over $200 for an exam, blood work and an antibiotic. The lady vet who saw me was condensending, rude, unempathetic and clearly just wanted to milk me dry. I have pulled both my dogs from there and will NEVER return to these people. STAY AWAY - FAR AWAY. Read Less
