Our family has been with Dr. Hebert for over 20 years. All of our “boys” have always had the very best care from Dr. Hebert, the technicians, the kennel and everyone at the front desk. Whether it was a small or big concern, surgery they needed, senior care or such VERY difficult situations....Dr. Hebert has always been there. Always. He is knowledgeable, experienced, caring, patient and compassionate. He always calls to check on the patient, answer any questions and just let you know that he is there if you need him. We just have one “boy” now, he is 15 years old. He loves going to see Dr. Hebert and everyone there, just as all of our boys always have. We appreciate all that Dr. Hebert and everyone there has always done for us and continue to do for us. The trust and peace of mind has always been there and always will be. It says a lot when our “boy” is pulling to get IN the door of the hospital to see Dr. Hebert and everyone there. You know you have the best !!

I was recommended to this office by a friend, she boasted of quality service and she was right! I have been so grateful to Call Northpark Animal Hospital my veterinary of choice. The doctors are excellent and the staff is kind and caring. I always ask for Sierra, she has gone above and beyond to make sure I understand the treatment and makes sure I have the medicine I need to care for my cat and dog. Definitely will be recommending this place to all my friends and family. They are the only office I trust with my pets!

Dr. Hebert goes above and beyond to evaluate our pets each visit and to listen to our concerns, and is the best vet that we have found since we moved into the area a decade ago. The staff, from the front desk to the vet technicians, are always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

I've been with Northpark Animal Hospital for nearly 20 years. In that time, Dr. Hebert and his staff have seen not only our personal pets, but foster dogs as well. I've never had a bad experience with NAH and wouldn't trust the care of my fur babies to anyone else. Dr. Hebert is always available to talk, answers my questions thoroughly, and is so compassionate during the difficult times. The vet techs, kennel techs, and front desk staff are amazingly sweet and friendly; our babies just love all of them, which gives me such peace of mind because I know that means they are treated so well even when I'm not present. I'm so thankful to have found Northpark Animal Hospital; they are hands down the best in fur baby care.

Dr. Hebert and all of his staff are really just the absolute best! I brought my puggie in today and they were so sweet to him and helped with the issues he's having. Dr. Hebert even came back to answer questions that I had after the exam which I really appreciate and took his time, I never felt rushed out the door! The ladies at the front also helped me get the best value for my money on preventatives for my baby. What started as a rough morning of waking up to a my sweet boy sounding like he couldn't breathe ended with loving care and the best solutions to get him feeling better right away! I just can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you!

We have been using Northpark Animal since 2001 when we moved into this area. They have always been professional, kind, with good service. Friendly to our dogs, and understanding and supportive when we had to say our good byes to a couple of them. We have compared process a few times over the years, to other vets. in the area, and they are basically the same. We have also compared the price they charge for meds. To others, and for those like heart worm and such, to online providers. It had always been within a few dollars. Any time one of our furry friends needed surgery, they were always spot on, with as good an outcome add could be expected. We have never had any complaints, multiple pets are just expensive. I highly recommend this facility.

We were customers there for about a year. The vets seem capable and friendly and the staff is very friendly, but the front office is horribly disorganized. Our dog was given multiples of the same vaccination because they dropped the ball on keeping records. Additionally, they apparently don't believe rescue organizations vaccinate properly, so your rescued pet will get double vaccinated. They failed to alert us when our pets were due for rabies shots, stating that it was an oversight and not in their system (happened more than once). I suppose if we did some more work on keeping records and keeping track of vaccines, we could manage all of that, but my wife and I both work full-time and we pay the vet to advise us on the health of our animals. We'll be taking our business elsewhere.
UPDATE: Upon reading this review, the owner followed up with us regarding our concerns, which took us by surprise and shows a lot of class. He mentioned that he's hired an additional staff member to coordinate vaccination records to ensure this does not happen. While I think our review is an important data point, I also think this update is an important data point as well if you are considering this establishment for your pets.

I came in to give my two cats a check-up after my usual vet cancelled my appointment. I called up NVH and they squeezed me in right away - a huge convenience for me. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I went into an exam room with a vet tech and we began discussing what exactly my cats needed. Shortly after, Dr. O'Hara stepped in and began to examine my cats. He was very calm, professional, and knew how to treat my pets properly. He examined my cats throughly and answered all my questions completely. My bill was quite high, but I will overlook that for the peace of mind and quality service provided by the staff.

After looking over reviews I decided to bring my cat to Northpark. Although the staff was very friendly, the veterinarian was appallingly rough. Instead of interacting with my cat, he roughly placed him on the exam table, pinned him down and began to roughly examine him. I have never seen a vet use such force on an animal, especially on one that is characteristically social and laid back. He rudely deferred my questions about his health and was out of the room within three minutes. If you are looking for a clinic that provides quality care, Northpark Animal Hospital is not the place for you.

I am from Lake Charles, LA. When we have had to evacuate, on numerous occasions, we have gone to the Kingwood area. When we would go we always brought our dogs to Dr Hebert. He was always willing to meet us there, no matter what time it was. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. While we were there, we could go visit our dogs at anytime and take them for a walk or just visit. If we ever have to evacuate again, I will definitely go back there!! They loved my dogs, who are like my kids, and took great care of them!!

Professional, courteous, friendly, and very caring...these guys at Northpark Veterinary Hospital are awesome. I've been taking my pets here for 8 years. Gotta be honest--NEVER had a complaint with them. Their service is, bar-none, exceptional. If you took your pets here, you would be quick to see that the staff don't just have great care for your pets, but great care for you, too. Just recently, my Yorkie got sick and I brought him to Dr. Hebert. He made me feel as though I was the only client present. He treated my pet with a professional, thorough, and careful approach. As long as I live in the Kingwood area, I'm not taking my pets anywhere else.

Sorry to say this, but after using Dr. Hebert for years he has seriously disappointed me. I could not recommend him and his services for these reasons: I believe he lied to me, I brought my cat in hoping to make sure she was all right after she had thrown up several times during the night. I was leaving on a trip. I asked him to do what was necessary, I trusted him! $1,400.00 later nothing was wrong with the cat, the doctor immediately went on vacation the next day can could not be reached, the string he saw in the x-ray that he said could kill my cat did not come out, and the x-ray he said he took of her DISAPEARED when I asked to see it!

We just moved to the area a week ago and our German Shepherd hurt his paw, so I called Northpark and told them the situation and they got my dog in in just a few hours! They were wonderful and caring to our "baby", they got us in immediately upon arrival and gave us excellent care. I thank the very caring vet techs and the Veterinarian who saw us, and would recommend this company to anyone who seeks loving and professional care for their pet.

Our family has been with Dr. Hebert for over 20 years. All of our “boys” have always had the very best care from Dr. Hebert, the technicians, the kennel and everyone at the front desk. Whether it was a small or big concern, surgery they needed, senior care or such VERY difficult situations....Dr. Hebert has always been there. Always. He is knowledgeable, experienced, caring, patient and compassionate. He always calls to check on the patient, answer any questions and just let you know that he is there if you need him. We just have one “boy” now, he is 15 years old. He loves going to see Dr. Hebert and everyone there, just as all of our boys always have. We appreciate all that Dr. Hebert and everyone there has always done for us and continue to do for us. The trust and peace of mind has always been there and always will be. The doctors are excellent and the staff is kind and caring. I always ask for Sierra, she has gone above and beyond to make sure I understand the treatment and makes sure I have the medicine I need to care for my cat and dog. I've been with Northpark Animal Hospital for nearly 20 years. In that time, Dr. Hebert and his staff have seen not only our personal pets, but foster dogs as well. I've never had a bad experience with NAH and wouldn't trust the care of my fur babies to anyone else. Dr. Hebert is always available to talk, answers my questions thoroughly, and is so compassionate during the difficult times. The vet techs, kennel techs, and front desk staff are amazingly sweet and friendly; our babies just love all of them, which gives me such peace of mind because I know that means they are treated so well even when I'm not present. I'm so thankful to have found Northpark Animal Hospital; they are hands down the best in fur baby care.

Dr. Hebert and all of his staff are really just the absolute best! I brought my puggie in today and they were so sweet to him and helped with the issues he's having. Dr. Hebert even came back to answer questions that I had after the exam which I really appreciate and took his time, I never felt rushed out the door! The ladies at the front also helped me get the best value for my money on preventatives for my baby. What started as a rough morning of waking up to a my sweet boy sounding like he couldn't breathe ended with loving care and the best solutions to get him feeling better right away! I just can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you!

We have been using Northpark Animal since 2001 when we moved into this area. They have always been professional, kind, with good service. Friendly to our dogs, and understanding and supportive when we had to say our good byes to a couple of them. We have compared process a few times over the years, to other vets. in the area, and they are basically the same. We have also compared the price they charge for meds. To others, and for those like heart worm and such, to online providers. It had always been within a few dollars. Any time one of our furry friends needed surgery, they were always spot on, with as good an outcome add could be expected. We have never had any complaints, multiple pets are just expensive. I highly recommend this facility.

We were customers there for about a year. The vets seem capable and friendly and the staff is very friendly, but the front office is horribly disorganized. Our dog was given multiples of the same vaccination because they dropped the ball on keeping records. Additionally, they apparently don't believe rescue organizations vaccinate properly, so your rescued pet will get double vaccinated. They failed to alert us when our pets were due for rabies shots, stating that it was an oversight and not in their system (happened more than once). I suppose if we did some more work on keeping records and keeping track of vaccines, we could manage all of that, but my wife and I both work full-time and we pay the vet to advise us on the health of our animals. We'll be taking our business elsewhere.
UPDATE: Upon reading this review, the owner followed up with us regarding our concerns, which took us by surprise and shows a lot of class. He mentioned that he's hired an additional staff member to coordinate vaccination records to ensure this does not happen. While I think our review is an important data point, I also think this update is an important data point as well if you are considering this establishment for your pets.

I came in to give my two cats a check-up after my usual vet cancelled my appointment. I called up NVH and they squeezed me in right away - a huge convenience for me. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I went into an exam room with a vet tech and we began discussing what exactly my cats needed. Shortly after, Dr. O'Hara stepped in and began to examine my cats. He was very calm, professional, and knew how to treat my pets properly. He examined my cats throughly and answered all my questions completely. My bill was quite high, but I will overlook that for the peace of mind and quality service provided by the staff.

After looking over reviews I decided to bring my cat to Northpark. Although the staff was very friendly, the veterinarian was appallingly rough. Instead of interacting with my cat, he roughly placed him on the exam table, pinned him down and began to roughly examine him. I have never seen a vet use such force on an animal, especially on one that is characteristically social and laid back. He rudely deferred my questions about his health and was out of the room within three minutes. If you are looking for a clinic that provides quality care, Northpark Animal Hospital is not the place for you.

I am from Lake Charles, LA. When we have had to evacuate, on numerous occasions, we have gone to the Kingwood area. When we would go we always brought our dogs to Dr Hebert. He was always willing to meet us there, no matter what time it was. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. While we were there, we could go visit our dogs at anytime and take them for a walk or just visit. If we ever have to evacuate again, I will definitely go back there!! They loved my dogs, who are like my kids, and took great care of them!!

Professional, courteous, friendly, and very caring...these guys at Northpark Veterinary Hospital are awesome. I've been taking my pets here for 8 years. Gotta be honest--NEVER had a complaint with them. Their service is, bar-none, exceptional. If you took your pets here, you would be quick to see that the staff don't just have great care for your pets, but great care for you, too. Just recently, my Yorkie got sick and I brought him to Dr. Hebert. He made me feel as though I was the only client present. He treated my pet with a professional, thorough, and careful approach. As long as I live in the Kingwood area, I'm not taking my pets anywhere else.

Sorry to say this, but after using Dr. Hebert for years he has seriously disappointed me. I could not recommend him and his services for these reasons: I believe he lied to me, I brought my cat in hoping to make sure she was all right after she had thrown up several times during the night. I was leaving on a trip. I asked him to do what was necessary, I trusted him! $1,400.00 later nothing was wrong with the cat, the doctor immediately went on vacation the next day can could not be reached, the string he saw in the x-ray that he said could kill my cat did not come out, and the x-ray he said he took of her DISAPEARED when I asked to see it!

We just moved to the area a week ago and our German Shepherd hurt his paw, so I called Northpark and told them the situation and they got my dog in in just a few hours! They were wonderful and caring to our "baby", they got us in immediately upon arrival and gave us excellent care. I thank the very caring vet techs and the Veterinarian who saw us, and would recommend this company to anyone who seeks loving and professional care for their pet.
