My cat Jack was diagnosed with Diabetes from a Houston vet, they told me he would have liver failure and die in hours if I don't treat him. 1300 dollars (not including insulin, test strips and device) later, his health wasn't improving. I took him to my mom's house and she took him to her vet. She is a regular, the staff love her, Buddy, Virginia, and Bella. Beth immediately upped his insulin, increased the frequency of treatment a day, and she had him off insulin in 3 weeks. They didn't charge me or my mother thousands of dollars to fix him, or keep him sick by keeping his dose low. We recently moved to the Lampasas area. This vet isn't bad, I just don't like the way they try to push more and more on us for our pet, like a car salesman. We have never been to any vet before them that does this. A vet might  give you advice but this vet is just too pushy. We are going to find another vet now. Read Less

The staff at here is amazing! They handled my babies with such great care and made sure I was fully educated on everything that was going on. I took in all of my animals on one day to get shots and fixed and microchipped and they handled it with no problem. They even made sure to memorize each cats name so there was no mix ups which made me feel fantastic. All the ladies that worked there are so sweet I won't be going anywhere else! Read Less

I was a client for more than 10 years. Both Dr whites were always great and the front staff use to be good, but now the family atmosphere has turned to corporate. Bait and switch. Misrepresentation. And incorrect guidance is now standard by the front staff. Lies on telephone only exceeded by rude behavior in person. I couldn't even stay to see a practitioner because of the dismay. I wouldn't advise any services till front staff is retrained or replaced. Read Less

This vet use to be the best but the front staff now baits you in and says come in as a walk in and when you rush to get there they say we'll now we will charge you more since we are 30 minutes before close. This was a shock, never have they done this and I have been a customer before even when her father was alive. I was extremely disappointed and then when the front staff stated roundworms were airborne and I didn't know what I was talking about broke my heart. Not only did I bring them evidence of there ignorance I contacted there Scholls they graduated from to confirm, which doctor smith as well as doctor e both said roundworms are not airborne and the doctors must be Ill informed. I hope it's the front staff again running off customers like they did me and not doctors white. Again they use to be a 5 star spot but one star can not get you past the doors customer service. This vet clinic is awesome! The vets and the assistants are wonderful people and truly care about the wellbeing of my animals. If ever my horses or fur babies need anything, they tell me all of my options - the easy fixes all the way up to the really expensive treatments- and recommend what they would do if it was their own animal. My doxie had an injured back a few years ago, and they never gave up on her. She was paralyzed from her mid-back end and on down. Now after having treatment from Dr. White, she can run around and play like she did as a puppy. As long as their doors are open, my animals will go there. I would definitely recommend this clinic. Tried a couple different vets after moving to the area.I found Lampasas Veterinary Clinic to be down to earth and friendly.The waiting room and private rooms are always nice and clean. Their services are also reasonably priced. You get the feeling they really do love animals and they don't look at your pet as a payday. Would recommend. Read Less

Dr White has always been there when an emergency arose with my fur babies. And when I mean always there...he made it to the clinic in less than 20 min. When my dogs get into trouble, it's always after hours or on the weekend. The other vets in town have never responded to my emergencies...and I can't tell you how many times I was let down until I discovered the Lampasas Vet Clinic.
