I’d give this place a -1 star if it was an option. How in the world can or would a veterinarian Clinic / so called Hospital turn away a dog in need of medical treatment. I should’ve know by how dirty and run down the place looked when I pulled up in the 5 car parking lot looking like it’s a part of the junk yard it’s joined with. I would never attempt to go here again nor would I ever think about referring someone to go here.

I would NOT recommend Bay Creek Animal Clinic. I took my cat there Friday morning because he was vomiting and not eating or drinking. I filled out their forms and explained to the vet tech that he had not eaten or drank in 24 hours. I received a call mid-day that he was given anti-nausea medicine and that he seemed to be doing fine. I called back around 4:00 that day to see if I could pick him up. When I asked if he had ate anything or drank anything, she seemed confused why I was asking that. Apparently it was never communicated between staff members that he hadn't drank anything!!! So, he went the entire day at the vet without proper treatment. I was told, that they would sedate him and give him fluids that night. When I called the following morning, I was informed that they still had NOT given him fluids because they didn't want to sedate him overnight. Had I known that, I would have picked him up and brought him home for the night!!!! They finally gave him fluids that morning and told me they would call me when I could pick him up...no one ever called. So instead, I went down there. I was told that they did blood work (which I had approved). The vet said that she would call Sunday morning with the results and we would make a plan from there. In the meantime, he continued to vomit and still wasn't eating or drinking. It is now Sunday at 7:48 PM and I still have NOT received a call. He recently started vomiting so much that I had to take him to an emergency vet clinic. I am appalled by the lack of communication and the lack of care for my pet. 3 days later, I've paid over $400 (probably a lot more) for my cat to still be sick and to not have a reason as to why. Please don't ever bring your vet to Bay Creek Animal Clinic!

I love this clinic and Dr Mogas, but for one issue, am in the process of moving and have tried unsuccessfully all summer. to book an appointment for my three cats to be vaccinated and checked. I am only in town for a week or two at a time. Wanted to get them ready for a move and a plane trip, was told I couldn't get an appointment, only could drop them off in a week and couldn't have a regular appointment to ask questions. I could book with another vet but Dr Mogas has seen my cats for years and knows them . I have been coming to this clinic since the 90's and felt like that didn't count.

Dr. Mogas, is outstanding. Dr. Mogas takes the time to listen to me, she then does a full and complete examination of my pets - AND then she discusses the plan of treatment. Obviously our pets can speak to tell us what problems they're having - otherwise it may be easier (or not...) to figure things out. Therefore, veterinarians need to be great diagnostician's and you can't find a better, more considerate and caring veterinarian then Dr. Mogas.

I couldn't be more grateful for the whole staff at Bay Creek. They are the most caring group of people and we wouldn't have gotten through the past year without them. Accommodating, affordable, and beyond compassionate. They mean so much to our family and especially our Doxie, Cash! We love you guys! If your buddy suffers from spine issues or arthritis I strongly recommend their laser therapy treatments. They have kept my buddy walking for 4+ years and Bay Creek makes it so easy!

They were so receptive, pleasant and were very concerned with his health. Treated me like I was a long lost friend....Fees were not overboard. Provided a good plan for his care, food, antibiotics and bland dog food. Even let me drop in without much push back on openings through out the days he has been ill.Dr. Lovell and MoGas are spectacular. Called me back and left detailed voicemails when I could not pick up...I am switching vets. My current vet could not see my dog when he was ill. So referred to no good contacts. Found this on my own. New Concept vet deleted of my smartphone. Anyone read this please share your comments. They should have more positive comments on file..I trust yelp network of folks. Have never been led astray...

I do not know why these reviews are so poor! We walked in back in June when my 14 year old Schnauzer grew very ill and the worst had to be done. Since then we adopted another miniature schnauzer and have been treated amazing! Dr. Lovell really cares for her and you can tell. The staff, when we walk in are smiling and pleasant. They are polite and not only dote over our pup but love my son as well. Dr. Lovell helped get our baby girl back in shape. She was very under weight from her foster situation and her ears were loaded with mites and 2 infections. When we get out of the car at Bay Creek Animal Clinic, Katypage jumps out and is very excited to go inside because she knows they made her better. I can not tell you enough how wonderful they were to us!

While the overall vibe of this place (from building to vet) are pleasant, I'd be hard pressed to say anything else nice about this vet clinic. I feel as though this office really doesn't care too much about dogs (I've seen great care and personalization give to feline patients). Appointments run late, they are pricey compared to other vet offices in the area, they are difficult to deal with over the phone. I've dealt with other vets that just seem a lot more informed and that have the capability of conveying information to others. I'd shop around before settling on this place for care of your animal. And be sure that if you DO switch to a different vet clinic that Bay Creek won't fax over all of your pet's records (only what their clinic has done).

My friend was a one time client recently and you couldn't pay us to go back. She had an appointment at 9:20am, which I attended with her. We weren't seen by the doctor until 10am with no explanation or apology for the wait. I actually think I saw the doctor pull in the parking lot 35 minutes late because right after the car pulled in is when the doctor finally saw us to the room! I at least expected a technician to call us in and get some vitals or SOMETHING!! When we finally got into the room for her annual exam, the doctor in my opinion missed many important things (didn't check her ears or take a tempurature!!) I truly felt as if the doctor didn't care about us as clients or my friend's dog as a patient. The entire exam lasted less than ten minutes, which was disappointing considering how late the doctor was for it. And we were again forced to wait to pay because the doctor ""needed to write up our charges"" which, in my opinion, should have been ready for us at the counter when we were ready to go. I personally have been a faithful client to Nasa Pet Hospital for many years and their service is IMPECCABLE. Dr. McCoy always seems most concerned with all of my pets and always is interested in how my children and husband are doing (love how he remembers me personally :). If you are looking for a local animal clinic, Bay Creek is NOT the place to go. Nasa Pet Hospital is an amazing clinic with great staff and fairly reasonable office visit prices. ZERO stars for Bay Creek Animal Clinic.

I would not recommend this clinic. They are good with your animal when you are there, however if you need to ask any questions once leaving you can forget about speaking to the vet or your phone call being returned. Also, I took my dog there in because she was having a heat stroke and they were in absolutely no hurry to see her even though it was obvious that she needed immediate attention. I had to leave to take her elsewhere and thank goodness the other clinic was willing to take her quickly otherwise she could have died or been left with other serious health issues.

Surprised no reviews.....should be more...Let me be a good majority voice..took my Dog Mickey..9 year old Min Pin..He was lethargic, fever and not eating or drinking. They were so receptive, pleasant and were very concerned with his health. Treated me like I was a long lost friend....Fees were not overboard. Provided a good plan for his care, food, antibiotics and bland dog food. Even let me drop in without much push back on openings through out the days he has been ill.Dr. Lovell and MoGas are spectacular. Called me back and left detailed voicemails when I could not pick up...I am switching vets. My current vet could not see my dog when he was ill. So referred to no good contacts. Found this on my own. New Concept vet deleted of my smartphone. Anyone read this please share your comments. They should have more positive comments on file..I trust yelp network of folks. Have never been led astray...

I do not know why these reviews are so poor! We walked in back in June when my 14 year old Schnauzer grew very ill and the worst had to be done. Since then we adopted another miniature schnauzer and have been treated amazing! Dr. Lovell really cares for her and you can tell. The staff, when we walk in are smiling and pleasant. They are polite and not only dote over our pup but love my son as well. Dr. Lovell helped get our baby girl back in shape. She was very under weight from her foster situation and her ears were loaded with mites and 2 infections. When we get out of the car at Bay Creek Animal Clinic, Katypage jumps out and is very excited to go inside because she knows they made her better. I can not tell you enough how wonderful they were to us!

While the overall vibe of this place (from building to vet) are pleasant, I'd be hard pressed to say anything else nice about this vet clinic. I feel as though this office really doesn't care too much about dogs (I've seen great care and personalization give to feline patients). Appointments run late, they are pricey compared to other vet offices in the area, they are difficult to deal with over the phone. I've dealt with other vets that just seem a lot more informed and that have the capability of conveying information to others. I'd shop around before settling on this place for care of your animal. And be sure that if you DO switch to a different vet clinic that Bay Creek won't fax over all of your pet's records (only what their clinic has done).

My friend was a one time client recently and you couldn't pay us to go back. She had an appointment at 9:20am, which I attended with her. We weren't seen by the doctor until 10am with no explanation or apology for the wait. I actually think I saw the doctor pull in the parking lot 35 minutes late because right after the car pulled in is when the doctor finally saw us to the room! I at least expected a technician to call us in and get some vitals or SOMETHING!! When we finally got into the room for her annual exam, the doctor in my opinion missed many important things (didn't check her ears or take a tempurature!!) I truly felt as if the doctor didn't care about us as clients or my friend's dog as a patient. The entire exam lasted less than ten minutes, which was disappointing considering how late the doctor was for it. And we were again forced to wait to pay because the doctor ""needed to write up our charges"" which, in my opinion, should have been ready for us at the counter when we were ready to go. I personally have been a faithful client to Nasa Pet Hospital for many years and their service is IMPECCABLE. Dr. McCoy always seems most concerned with all of my pets and always is interested in how my children and husband are doing (love how he remembers me personally :). If you are looking for a local animal clinic, Bay Creek is NOT the place to go. Nasa Pet Hospital is an amazing clinic with great staff and fairly reasonable office visit prices. ZERO stars for Bay Creek Animal Clinic.

I would not recommend this clinic. They are good with your animal when you are there, however if you need to ask any questions once leaving you can forget about speaking to the vet or your phone call ...
I would not recommend this clinic. They are good with your animal when you are there, however if you need to ask any questions once leaving you can forget about speaking to the vet or your phone call being returned. Also, I took my dog there in because she was having a heat stroke and they were in absolutely no hurry to see her even though it was obvious that she needed immediate attention. I had to leave to take her elsewhere and thank goodness the other clinic was willing to take her quickly otherwise she could have died or been left with other serious health issues.
