My babies were always so scared to go to the pet hospital until I went to Banfield and fell in love with Dr Joy and all the great people working with him.. I have no problem with my babies being scared cause they love him cause he and all the staff spoil them!!! He always lets me know what to do and explains so I understand. I will never go anywhere else cause it’s important to me that my babies feel safe...

Dr Sam Joy is the WORST. Do not trust him to take care of your pet. All he sees is dollar signs. He has terrible people skills and doesn’t know how to communicate. I have no idea how he is still working there. No professionalism whatsoever. I felt very uncomfortable and pressured into procedures that did not make sense. He threw around the word cancer like it was nothing. There wasn’t an ounce of sincerity in his voice. He has no empathy. I left extremely upset and will never ever be back. Beware. I wish I could give him negative stars.

Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and affordable. They are what I have been looking for in a Vet Clinic, and I've been to many others. I'm sure they may get a bad rap due to being part of a low cost chain, but I can attest that they are the best Vet Clinic I've ever dealt with. Dr. Joy and Dr. Khan are so kind and honest, and all the vet techs, and even the front desk staff, are so nice and helpful. They helped me through the loss of my pet, and I will be bringing my other pet to them for the rest of his life too. Thanks!

I took my cat in to this clinic and we were seen by Dr. Sam Joy who also happens to be the Cheif of Staff. He ran several blood work panels and other diognostics and the only thing he came up with was...
I took my cat in to this clinic and we were seen by Dr. Sam Joy who also happens to be the Cheif of Staff. He ran several blood work panels and other diognostics and the only thing he came up with was that he had a minor liver condition. He prescibed us some meds, said to wait about a week and if my cat wasn't doing better, come back right away. 4 days later my cat is doing absolutely awful. I called the clinic hoping to see someone at the very least but they wouldn't see my cat, even when I tried to tell the receptionist that it was an emergeny. She promptly hung up on me. I took my cat to the veterinary ER where they told me that he had an advanced case of Sepsis and I had to have him put down that same night. Thank you so much Banfield for all of your care and support.

Dr. Khan and Sarah are amazing! Our puppy got parvo from the shelter we got her from and we didn't know if she would make it. Sarah helped us above and beyond what we expected. She even called to check on our puppy when she had the day off of work. 24 hours after being out of their hospital, our dog is jumping around and eating again. Everytime, I had to spend more money than what I really want. We went there for her skin problem 4 times and it cost me (with the plan) over $300! Ridiculous!!!

I know how to pick a human doctor. I have no idea how to pick a vet. Growing up - we NEVER took our pets to the vet. After getting my dog Hemingway from Ft. Worth - he needed so much work done. Shots, neuter...and I had no idea where to start. So, I went to the big box store Petsmart and lo and behold they have Banfield inside. I thought, well...what the hell. He had his first appointment and Chris, the front desk coordinator, was so helpful. I did get 'suckered' into the infamous dog insurance scam - but with a pound dog - I felt it would be OK to get it for a year. I was more satisfied that they took really good care of my dog. So much so, that he wasn't afraid to go back. The best experience was after he was neutered, Dr. Sam Joy came in and talked to my boyfriend and I about any potential problems and allowed my boyfriend and I to ask stupid questions - without calling us stupid. :-) He was also awesome with our dog - watching him interact with Hemi. My experiences at this Banfield have been nothing short of spectacular. I plan on keeping Hemingway here and completely trust the office staff and Dr. Sam Joy. *** one last note *** they contacted me on Saturday because they had heard that a dog like mine was picked up - and they wanted to make sure it wasn't Hemingway. Uh, what?! People that actually care?! Really, I can't say enough about this place.

Dr Sam Joy is the WORST. Do not trust him to take care of your pet. All he sees is dollar signs. He has terrible people skills and doesn’t know how to communicate. Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and affordable. They are what I have been looking for in a Vet Clinic, and I've been to many others. I'm sure they may get a bad rap due to being part of a low cost chain, but I can attest that they are the best Vet Clinic I've ever dealt with. Dr. Joy and Dr. Khan are so kind and honest, and all the vet techs, and even the front desk staff, are so nice and helpful. They helped me through the loss of my pet, and I will be bringing my other pet to them for the rest of his life too. Thanks!

He prescibed us some meds, said to wait about a week and if my cat wasn't doing better, come back right away. 4 days later my cat is doing absolutely awful.
