Ark Hospital For Pets is a full service animal hospital and will take both emergency cases as well as less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues.

Made an appointment to get my dog Neutered. Took off work, arrived 15min before the time, called the number on the door in the parking lot as stated, lobby is not opened, and was then told I did not have an appointment. Informed them I call Friday 10/7 at 12:05pm and set up an appointment. When I called she let me know what to do with my dog the night before. I got there and then was told that I did not have an appointment and hung up the phone while I’m in the parking lot with my dog. I verified that I call (806)745-2955. I have used them for the past 10 years and by far the WORST person I have ever talked to on the phone. She did not help and hung up the phone. Very sad to say but I guess I have to find another Vet

Great place to bring pets! Our first cat was treated great here. Employees are great, warm, welcoming, and friendly. Treat you and your pets like family. They explain everything to you in easy to understand language.
We got our second cat and went to another vet place for a free checkup. He was sick and got meds but wasn't any better. Went back and put him on different stuff. Next time we went Ark and they treated him the first time, no horsing around, and explained things unlike the first vet.

Dr. Smith and Josh are great! The staff is very friendly. The office waiting area is very small. It makes it a little bit difficult when you have larger animals and there are already people/animals in the waiting area. They are always willing to answer questions and give advice. I found an injured stray and called them. They were willing to not only see him but give me a little discount on the bill since he wasn't mine. They were absolutely fantastic. As an animal lover, I was really concerned about this stray. Dr. Smith kept reassuring me the animal would be ok. The only reason I gave this facility four stars instead of 5 is because they really need a larger facility.

I was also charged more than I was initially led to believe the cost would be. Overall I like the vet however the employees could do with some attitude adjustment.

Best vet in Lubbock! Ive been going to Ark for over a decade and absolutely love them. They are all nice and helpful and knowledgeable. Theyve helped me out with strays by not charging me for everything and giving breaks to help out those who need it. Their prices are good for everything, they dont over charge like a lot of vets do. Any animal I bring to them they fix right up, Ive never lost an animal with Ark. I will never go to a different vet.

Excellent clinic, I have a wonderful little cat whom dislocated her little kitty paw when getting it stuck, falling, or rough housing with our other cat. They fixed her up good, and she has jumped back to normal.
Best of all, during the procedure, I wasn't able to pick her up because I was on vacation in Colorado that weekend. so they let her stay there and gave her lots of attention while a was away.

Made an appointment to get my dog Neutered. Took off work, arrived 15min before the time, called the number on the door in the parking lot as stated, lobby is not opened, and was then told I did not have an appointment. Informed them I call Friday 10/7 at 12:05pm and set up an appointment. When I called she let me know what to do with my dog the night before. Dr. Smith and Josh are great! The staff is very friendly. The office waiting area is very small. It makes it a little bit difficult when you have larger animals and there are already people/animals in the waiting area. They are always willing to answer questions and give advice. I loved ark hospital til we got a rescue dog and he go alitte aggressive with us ....called the vet they wanted to put him down! We found out through the GSD rescue that me was neglected by his previous owners. My question is if you get children from a abused and neglected home do you put them down Instead of giving and showing them love? Jake is the best dog !
