My Grandma used this veterinary clinic from the very first day it opened. She has always dearly loved her animals, and always gave them the best care possible. She made multiple trips over the years and spent thousands of dollars. She trusted Dr. Grainger and this clinic. She sang his praise on many occasions. Two years ago she was diagnosed with cancer, became disabled, and unable to leave her home unassisted. She still saw that her animals were vetted, including her dearly beloved dog, Bud. Bud had many health problems, but he was her dearest companion. Bud became very ill one day. Pacing and pacing in pain, she realized she needed to put Bud down. She called the clinic and told them of her emergency and asked if someone could please come out and put Bud down. Without hesitation she was told, No. Nothing else, just no. My Grandma lives less than 8 minutes from the office, yet her years of dedication to this clinic were not even considered. My disabled Grandma had to call a friend to come out and lay a blanket over Bud's face and shoot him. Her heart was broken by the way this clinic showed her no regard and how Bud had to pass. It would have taken no more than thirty minutes to help her and show that they cared. Instead they asked no questions, only no. They never called back or sent condolences. Take it for what you will, but Countryside Clinic showed absolutely no value for their customer or the suffering of her animal that day. I'm writing this review for my Grandma, because she was deeply hurt by their actions.

Before I moved here, I made the two hour drive just to go to this vet. I wanted the very best holistic veterinary care for my aging girls. Dr. Grainger is top notch! He stays current with the latest in holistic research, attending the conferences, and always learning about the best in alternative, all-natural treatments. Highly recommend him and trust his expertise for my dog family. Love the friendly, helpful staff too!

They always treat my animals right! All the wonderful ladies are always friendly, eager to help! Dr. Granger doesn't charge a fortune, always so caring! Called them after my dog ate a pill I dropped, told me right away what to do, unlike the Main Street Vet, that didn't want to help because my pet was never a patient. But had brought many other pets in before.
Countryside is the absolute "Best of the Best" 5 Stars isn't enough!

I went there twice with my new puppy. First time fir rabies shot and the second for a skin infection. They were busy which is a goid sign. Everyone was kind and efficient.

The Doctor doesnt use real medicine...Used to bring my dog until i realized this Doctor doesnt even know about the normal medications my dog is on. Everyone goes home with a jug of green sludge that the doctor must bathe in. I go to another clinic not too far away and they get 2nd opinions on Dr Grangers voodoo hippy remedies that their pets are dying on all the time. Glad to be away.

We have been using Countryside Vet / Dr. Granger for about 20 years and could not be happier. Doc and the staff treat us and more importantly our fur babies just like family. Dr. Granger does not believe in pumping animals full of drugs that are not needed, if there is a natural/homeopathic way to do things that is the answer. We love the staff and Doc and wouldn't think of trusting anyone else with our fur babies care.

We have been using Countryside Vet / Dr. Granger for about 20 years and could not be happier. Doc and the staff treat us and more importantly our fur babies just like family. Dr. Granger does not believe in pumping animals full of drugs that are not needed, if there is a natural/homeopathic way to do things that is the answer. We love the staff and Doc and wouldn't think of trusting anyone else with our fur babies care.
