Marshall Animal Hospital began in 1971 with Dr. M.P. Anderson's mixed animal practice and has evolved into part of the family for over 5000 households in the East Texas area.
Our goal has always been to treat your pet like family and you like friend. We provide a caring and educational environment where people can learn about maximizing the health and well being of their pets, and protect the health of their entire family.
Maximum wellness is achieved through client education and regular preventative health care including physical examinations, wellness lab work and systematic dental care. Diets and vaccinations are tailored to individual pet health requirements and lifestyle.
Clients are encouraged to maximize their pets’ potential for a long and healthy life. They are supported in their quest to improve the health of their pets, and the lives they share together. We support our clients by listening to their concerns, adapting health care to the needs of their particular situation, and providing education that is specific to their pet and their family.
With a focus on teamwork and communication, we aspire to make each experience stress-free for your pet and convenient for you.

I'd just like to say thank you to everyone that helped our Bruno. He wouldn't of made if they hadn't fought for him. I want to give a huge thank you to kandace. She is so awesome. They all treat our Bruno like their kids. But kandace was the one that kept me informed sent me pics of him. Had a smile on her face every time we walked in to see him. Bruno will only be going here. I switched my babies to Marshall Animal Hospital this week and after being in Marshall my whole life I can't believe I'm just now taking my babies here. The staff truly cared for my babies they wanted to know all about them and sat down to their level to make them comfortable. They talked to me about all my concerns and answered any questions I had. They treat you as family and NOT as just another appt to get in and get out. They even called the next day to check on them. So glad I switched!!! Thank you Marshall Animal Hospital staff!

I've heard about the excellent, loving, compassionate care Julie Domac & her cats Scottie & Cheese have received at Marshall Animal Hospital. Thank you all so very much for that, & for all you do. While poor Scottie was just too sick to survive, you saved Cheese when she was near death, & have been a huge support for Julie. Thanks again.

Its evident that they care about your pets, and they want what is best for them. They offer quality care for your animals. I have no complaints in the care department. However, after a while you start noticing that they find something extra to charge you for every time you take your pet in. They might quote you $175 but you'll leave paying $275 because your pet "needed" something else. Sometimes they'll let you know about the extra charges and ask you before going through the procedure, other times they just do it. I keep going back because of the level of care, but if you go take their quotes and prices with a grain of salt and be ready to pay more.

A little pricey when it all adds up, but Dr. Ashley and Dr. Jay are amazingly supportive. I've spent a good $4,000 there the past two years on various owned and rescued foster animals. They offer basic veterinary care, boarding, grooming, and laser therapy (we've never used that service though). The staff knows me by name, and they accommodate for emergency surgery during normal business hours. When my cat went into kidney failure, they were super attentive and were giving me calls/texts to update me on his progress. They do offer Care Credit in case of emergency expenses (I didn't have an extra $1,500 lying around for emergency surgery). They go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied.
