No one likes to see their pet in pain. You never know when an emergency involving your pet will occur. Duke, my Doberman puppy, impaled a metal rod handle into his left rear leg. WTH.
My wife called me hysterically telling me to get home immediately. I get home and see this metal rod sticking out of my dog's leg.
I grabbed Duke and rushed him to Banfield Hospital but the doctor was not available. The nurse at Banfield told me to take Duke to the emergency hospital across the street.
I'm new in the RGV and was not familiar with the emergency facility. I arrived and the staff assisted me immediately.
The doctor cleaned Duke's injury and gave Duke several stitches. Duke was given back to me safe and sound. The doctor stopped the blood and by the grace of God, Duke is home doing fine.
This place was great and the service I received was excellent. It's nice to know where to go if Duke needs emergency care in the future.
Thank you. You saved a family member.

GARBAGE! As a pet clinic, their only priority is to make MONEY (and lots of it) The welfare of the pet is secondary to them. Their prices are exorbitant and the veterinarians love to push for expensive labs and radiographies. A respectful young technician explicitly told me that she took her own pet to another clinic. It says a lot when their own technicians don’t trust Pet Doctor 911 for their pets’ welfare. The veterinarians are very quick in recommending euthanasia. They should be ashamed for working for such a clinic. Finally, the worst part of all is that they still make people wait outside. Enough with the THEATRICS! Everyone is opened up and you can still guarantee safe Covid-19 protocols while allowing people be with their pets. It’s a shame they’re the only emergency pet clinic in the surrounding area.

Even though 4 hours passed from the time we got her there til we left you gave her no meds AND WORSE OF ALL you never addressed the issue that she couldn't even move! No movement in any limbs! 4 hours and nearly $700 later you did nothing to help her - it wasn't about the money it was about helping her which you did not do. She is not with us now and you didn't even make an attempt to save her YOU DID NOTHING TO HELP HER

Good Afternoon, Mr. Smith, we are unsure why you have left us this review, and the statements you have made are completely untrue. We have spoken over the phone twice, but we will gladly reiterate your visit. You brought your pet very ill through our emergency services and was taken into our care immediately. The doctor did their physical exam and ran the diagnostics that were needed on how your pet presented to our practice. The doctor called you and explained to you the severity of the patient’s diagnosis and urgency for immediate surgical intervention and told you this pet should not go home! We explained to you multiple times the diagnosis of your pet and even though you knew your pet’s critical condition. You opted to take the patient home with no type of medical attention. The doctor advised you multiple times not to and that if you would take the pet home he could die. Again, you, the owner, made the decision to take the pet home against the doctor’s recommendation. The technician placed your pet in your arms gently due to us knowing the critical state your pet was in, and we can gladly show you our video footage of that. Our staff is trained and knowledgeable on any situation that is thrown their way and is what makes us the only 24-hour emergency clinic in the Rio Grande Valley. So our practice is not at the “level training on par to a convenience store from 1981” as you state. You came into our practice without a mask screaming frantically and being extremely rude to the staff because the pet was handed to you in a critical state. You, the owner, opted to take the patient home in that grave state and against the doctor’s recommendation. You threw cuss words at the employees and threw your mask when handed one due to being inside our practice. When asked to sign an AMA (Against Medical Advice) you refused to and continued to use foul language. Even though you were ill-mannered, the staff continued to serve you with their utmost respect. We have spoken multiple times with you, explaining the condition of your pet and that we did everything we possibly could to what you allowed us to. Even after you were rude to us, we went ahead and still addressed any of your concerns. Your medical records will be sent to you via email. Thank you and Have a nice day.

I recommend this animal care center! I went in scared for my dogs health after she went into labor and wasn’t able to deliver her last pup. Luckily here they helped her deliver the last pup which didn’t make it but what matters she’s safe and isn’t suffering no more. Affordable price since I couldn’t afford a c section Doctor was able to give her medicine to push out puppy at an affordable price. My dog is doing so

Worst Veterinarian I have ever been to. Facility was filthy and I was told they would keep my baby a couple of days and he'd be home. The next call I received from these murderers was to tell me he was dead. No concern what so ever. They misplaced his belongings refused to give me his medical records, said they had to review them. What's to review? Records or Records. Was told they would email them to me, two months later I still had not received them. I drive back to their facility to request them. The girl printed them out then told me she would be right back and took the papers to the back. She returned in about 10 minutes and said she needed to reprint the because they were hard to read. It's obvious they altered them and then reprinted them to give me what they wanted me to know. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

Don’t go to Pet911, all they care about is money, not animals. Some staff are really rude, some are nice. If you don’t have 3 hours to spend, don’t bother walking in. Was going to get my rabbit neutered there after the 55$ exotic consult for the 400$ estimate for surgery. They said no food or water after 10pm. My daughter said that would kill the rabbit, by getting GI stasis. We went to a real exotic pet veterinarian who said rabbits are not like cats and dogs and have to eat up until and after surgery or they will die. Had I listed to pet911 my rabbit would probably be dead and you can guarantee they would get their $400 regardless. Quacks! Pet911 also killed my moms teacup chihuahua by drawing blood and puncturing her lung. When my mom took her back saying she was really sick now they said her lungs were filling with blood and had to be put down. They took no responsibility for her death and still collected hundreds of dollars for it! They draw blood from the neck and can easily puncture a lung, which is what they did. DO NOT GO THERE. YOUR PET HAS A BETTER CHANCE WAITING AND SEEING A REAL VETERNARIAN THAN SEEING PET911 DOCTORS THAT DONT KNOW AND DONT CARE. PET911 vets want to spend the LEAST AMOUNT OF TIME WITH YOUR ANIMAL AND GET THE MOST MONEY OUT OF YOU!

So be prepared to spend $$$! Including a extra $150 charge incase they need to run more tests or medications on your pet. Pet parents are already so vulnerable and it feels like Pet 911 feeds off of that. Once my pet was discharged, I requested to speak to the vet. I understand they have emergencies. The vet had an attitude and made me feel like my questions were not important. Then says “ Is there anything else? I have an emergency.” With a condescending tone. After paying so much money I were to think my pet and I would be treated better with respect and quality. You only see the vet once and that’s it! You are lucky if the vet talks to you again after the consultation! I was warned but sometimes I have no choice but to take my pets to Pet 911. I would recommend Valley Pet Hospital. A kind caring hospital. Care is first, not so much the look of the clinic and money. I hope I don’t ever have to go back to Pet 911. Fingers crossed 🤞

I only came here because my baby kitten was really sick and all veterinarian places were closed happening this on a Saturday night. She wouldn’t eat, seemed really weak and sad. We ran to find a place to save her! We were petting her with so much care and love because she was really sad and weak so we took her to this “Vet clinic” because it was the only place open but the woman who attended her mistreated her and applied a strong medicine against fleas that killed my kitten of only 4 weeks!!! Also she didn’t want to analyze her blood or poop to find out what was wrong with her and save her. They practically did nothing but to kill my baby kitten just for the sake of selling a medicine for fleas that they knew would kill her!!! They did NOTHING to save her!
**Kittens shouldn’t be administered any strong medicines** I thought they knew better!!
Never again will I visit this place that does NOT care about our lovely pets but only about extracting money out of our wallets.

This vet is a murderer. I took my baby in because my real vet didn't have the equipment for the test she felt needed to be run, otherwise I would have left this filthy office. They took him to another room to examine him and run a test which I don't even know if they ran. They said he needed to be hospitalized for a couple of days. I called the next day and was told he was doing well. The next call I received was to tell me they had killed him. When I went to collect his things they couldn't find them. There were 28 boxes on the floor behind the counter and 7 or 8 on the counter. They were the kind of boxes you get when they have cremated your pet. I also ask for his records which they refused to give me. They said the doctor had to review them, unless he was going to change something there is no reason for that. They informed me after he "reviewed" the records they would email them to me, which they didn't. So the next month I drove to McAllen to pick them up and was told again he had to review them so I waited. I'm certain if there were records, along with the supposed test they ran they were altered.
I urge you to call the state vet licensing office and get a complaint form if you had a similar experience with this vet. We can only hope if the state receives enough reports on him he will be investigated and shut down.

My puppy lasted two days and died the night before I went to check up on him and they took hours to take us and they told me he was doing good. A couple of hours later I get a call that he had passed and that we didn't owe anything because of our deposit and at the end they said our balance was 1500 . After that they were gonna call us for a refund I told them not to call my husband because calls are strongly restricted in his work and they went ahead and call him. I would of really appreciated if they respect once's decision.

Worst experience I had ever dealt with!! my dog was attacked she had her small intestines hanging out I only had $800 with me and they wanted $1,600 upfront not willing to take payment plans. so I just paid for what they did and I had to walk out of there with my dog's intestines hanging out of her belly!!! thankfully they did wrap her up I will never ever go there again!!! thank the sweet Jesus I did find another vet the following morning and she got the surgery done they were more compassionate and more caring than anybody I had encounter at this Clinic.

So far so good. Great place. Great response time for non urgent/life threatening matter. Treated with kindness and upmost respect at the front desk and in the back room. Rooms are perfect size and techs offer juice or water as you wait for the vet to show. Very clean and open spaced lobby so dogs aren't at each other's throats when in contact. Wish there was some kind of paper towel dispenser since most clients dont come prepared for their dogs to have accidents in the lobby. Overall 5 star no complaints .

I first brought my puppy here when she broke her toes on her right rear leg at 11 weeks (now 15 weeks). From the beginning, the staff I encountered provided great services. They were always friendly & answered any & all questions I had regarding the care of my puppy who had to use a splint. Staff was always gentle with my puppy.
They go over the prices of the services so you know exactly what to expect.
Staff would also call to ask how my puppy was doing in between appointments.

I gave two stars just for the fact that they are there at all hours of the night, unlike other nearby areas. I really appreciate that, and I am sure not everyone there is uncaring. Unfortunately I did have a terrible experience here. They delayed caring for my greatly suffering pet, despite my pleading to hurry. The first person who came to the room with the paperwork, was extremely uncaring, and seemed completely unmoved by my pet's situation. I got the definite feeling that she had no feeling whatsoever for animals. However, I had a different experience the only other time I went. (I only returned because it was the only vet that was open) Different people than I saw before, people who seemed nice and a little caring.(with a different person doing the paperwork in the room) but the only place for my cat was near barking dogs which I think would be traumatic in most situations. I kept him with me in the room as soon as possible although he was sedated & slept through it. But they should have a separate place for animals that is quieter. Both times were quite expensive but at least they were there when no one else was. I even liked the one vet that I saw, the second time. He seemed kind & capable. I guess you won’t know what you will get when you go.

I have been to 911 Pet doctor twice, both times for my Boykin Spaniel, Paris. The first time, she ate an entire chicken thigh, and Dr. Holly Horn was helpful in providing correct digestive care to make sure she passed the bones safely. This second time, Paris had a VERY tragic accident on the ranch that resulted in a ruptured bladder and some blood clots. Dr. Meyer performed an amazing surgery and saved my dogs life. I listened to his advice, took part in the tests that he recommended we take, and I am glad that I did. Without Dr. Meyer, my dog would be dead.... Plain and simple. I was quite worried about paying for all of this right away as I was unsure on total cost, but we took everything one step at a time and did what was right for the dog. This clinic WILL work with you if you are polite and understanding that you need to pay for medical expenses. No, we cannot all fork over a couple thousand dollars at once for emergency surgeries, but as customers we need to understand that they need to get paid just as much as we expect them to understand how difficult it can be to do that. There is always a way to figure it out. The vet technician staff are made up of many young people, they appear to be either in college or fresh out of it (I admire this, as it is an investment to give young folks the opportunity to learn and shine. You can see in their eyes that many of them are passionate in what they do). I was a little concerned about lack of phone calls to update on blood work and etc, but they are all very helpful, supportive, informative, and mature. As customers, we also have to understand that in an emergency clinic such as this one, sometimes there are pets that are in much worse shape than ours are..... I tried my best to be considerate and understand that they were probably very busy. I am impressed with the staff, the doctors, and the atmosphere. Y'all are professionals and deserve a pat on the back. Consumers- remember that in situations of emergency, stay calm and think logically. When we get emotional, we do not relate to the logic that these professionals have.... they work with pets every day and perform thousands of surgeries. Trust em, they know what they're doing.

By then, it was too late and you all were left to perform a miracle. Thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism. I can honestly say for the care and professionalism and fast acting knowledge your rates were very reasonable. I'm just sorry I kept you all as a last resort because of the reviews.
Don't be me! Take your fur babies in here right away.. You be the judge. They will always tell you what your going to pay before they proceed. If you can't do it then take your chances elsewhere. You get what you pay for.

Rather than inspect my pet in front of me, they took the animal to another room and then recommended $240 in diagnostic exams. Vet did not provide any specifics or convey any general ideas as to what was wrong. I had to put my pet down, and staff there were completely insensitive. They were eating food, and laughing away.
I understand that it's their work environment, and certainly not saying that it should always be a somber environment, but they also should be aware of what's going on at their place. In fact, other places now a place of quiet for someone to grieve. One last thing, they will charge extra if after hours.

(did you know its a crime to know you cant pay for your pets bill and have work done anyway.?? HUH? yea that is a sign on the wall they made it perfectly clear your PET does not matter only that you can pay the pets bill) they rack up a laundry of items that you cant prove if they actually did any of them just to generate a huge bill then say you have a buffer in the estimate in case it cost more then hammer you with extra fees on the way out the door all the while knowing your at their mercy, if my Vet would have been open to begin with & it was not a emergency and if I would have read the reviews on the web here I would have made a U TURN and went to the other vet down the road! and waited for them to open after lunch! this place is nothing but a money hole, that can only stabilize your pet and then send you to the real vet after they vacuum the money out of your wallet in the nearly $1,000 I spent to find out my pet had additional injuries that we told them about at the time but they didn't bother to inspect!! until the next day and wanted more money to TEMP fix that too!! "a $1,000 band-aid" I told them no thanks paid my bill and I'm never setting foot here again!! oh and by the way its $100 to sedate your pet so they can treat them WOW! that is some insane extra fees not included in the original estimate hows that for a rip off!! I still have a injured pet and am out 50% of the money I will need to get her fixed by the REAL VET! unscrupulous and unprofessional people! taking advantage of pet parents just because they can!!!

They charge you for things you don't even want and expect you to pay then and there. Took him in for a wound on his abdomen and were told his only option was euthanasia because he would not survive. We decided to get a second opinion the next day and came to find out all he needed was antibiotics and wound laser therapy. One week later our puppy is fully healed and very much alive. 911 vet charged 80 bucks only to say we needed to put him down. We would definitely not recommend anyone take their pet to this vet. It is a complete rip off and they believe strongly in euthanasia..

Last night my son and I took our poodle whom had swallowed a whole chicken wing, we were so scared my son crying so bad as we had never experienced this with out pet, yes they explained the office visit cost and the xrays costs I proceeded, after xrays showed the bone doc comes in to say he needed surgery and that the tech would come in with some quotes. The fee for a possible 30 min procedure was outrageous, an hour even worst I asked if I could give $300 and the rest when I come pick up my pup, they flat out say no can't be done. My son frantic didn't want to leave, me without the extra funds at the moment told him sorry we are leaving and the next day we would take our pet to see his vet...we left I was so upset that its a 911 for what my pet didn't get the help he needed...sorry glad others have had better experiences or should I say money is valued more than saving my pup!

All my pets are patients at 911. I, as well as my fur babies have always been treated very well. Just yesterday my son and I rushed our Jackson into their office, as he had been hit by a car. I called 911 Vet on the way to let them know we were in route. As soon as we walked in they rushed us back. The assistant and Vet were very attentive to Jackson and they made sure to keep us posted on his condition. Jackson will be there again tonight and they have called us several times to update us on his progress. Great staff.

Earlier this week I took my cat into the hospital because he accidentally ingested some insect poison. My cat looked terrible all he would do was vomit foam and started pooping blood I really thought he was going to die, being from Roma we don't have many pet clinics nearby that could assist me immediately so I decided to take my cat to Mcallen, I waited a very short period of time in the waiting room and got some tests up and running for my Stewie, got the diagnosis, treatment, some shots and they gave him some food and fluids. As soon as I got home and started giving him the medication he completely changed for the better he's now eating and jumping up and down!! I must admit the bill wasn't cheap but thats the type of commitment you make when owning a pet. Great experience at this clinic, very friendly staff, and I'd definitely visit this clinic again if needed. Thank you for taking care of my baby :)

She got worst and was in bad shape so my daughter called and asked if she can take her in to put her down to rest. The staff was very thoughtful, friendly and understanding. Glad there is a 911 hospital opened 24/7. Yes it's pricy but well worth it for your loved one. Only thing it would be nice to have a payment plan cause some of us can't afford many prices at that moment of an emergency.

I'm always hesitant to leave a review that may burn a bridge, but this has to be said. I've never had a more distressing, absurd, and disappointing experience with a vet than I have at Pet Doctor 911. Poor bedside manner: Despite that my dog was there for about 3 days and I spent over 1.5k, I only spoke to a vet for maybe 20 minutes. Maybe. I had to call for updates and only got to speak to vet techs during these calls, rarely speaking to the same one twice. When your pet is very sick and you are paying for a service, you are owed a conversation with a veterinarian. They should call you. Every time I visited the dog, she looked worse. Anytime I questioned this, I was met with passive aggressiveness. You are allowed to ask questions when your pet's state is regressing and you are entitled to some answers. Her blood values went from bad(but not deathly) to not even detectable by the time she got to another vet.Blindly treating: Even though we never received a formal diagnoses, my dog was shot up with all sorts of medications, vitamins, and fluids. I was impressed that a vet could look at the dog for 5 minutes and know what was wrong and not fill the need to investigate more. The overkill on the drugs/fluids ended up hurting my dog more than helping her. Fleas: Towards the end of her time at the clinic, my dog became infested with huge fleas from the yard they would take her to potty in. Not only was she slowly dying, she was now itchy and raw. When I asked how this could have happened, they asked why the dog was not on flea and tick preventative. Its absurd that they do not think they are responsible for flea & tick control in their environment, regardless if the pet is protected. Just absurd. Its a shame that this is the only emergency vet in the area because it is obvious they are so overrun with patients they don't have the capacity to give your pet the care, critical thought, and time they sometimes really need.

My heart was crushed when I came home to find my senior 14 yr old blue heeler with her leg hanging off of her body. So I took her to Pet Doctor 911 because it was late. The vet tech put her on a doggie stretcher and treated her gently. I was surprised at how informed the vet tech was because it shows that the clinic has individuals who educate each other. The vet was absolutely amazing and answered all of my questions thoroughly. He even let me know that she may need surgery in 2-3 years so that I could start saving now. I told him that I live on the second floor at my apartment complex and he typed out a letter of recommendation to our apartment manager so that we can live in a lower level apartment so that we don't have to carry her up and down the stairs. It turned out that my dog had a patrial ACL tear in her knee. The vet prescribed anti inflammatory/pain reliever and joint supplements for senior dogs. My dog is walking, running, and even jumping (she's not supposed to but she gets excited). So I'm very happy with the service and highly recommend you go there if you have a pet emergency at night.

Finally at 4:30 pm a office manager called me and was not understanding kept giving excuses and did not admit it was wrong on their end. Did not try to even keep my business after I said I would find another vet. If I am paying almost $700 for a procedure I expect a phone call or answers not after the surgery when my dog is in recovery.

Went with my mom as an emergency, her pet had been shot! We waited patiently to be seen in their "not so welcoming" waiting area (very small and cramped). The receptionists are not friendly and seem very unhappy at their job. So sad to have people that don't act like they care sitting at the front desk as the first people you see walking in! When we finally got into see the doctor, we were told our pet needed surgery to have the fragments removed and immediately asked for money to start....I get that, I understand they want to be sure they won't be stiffed with the bill. BUT AT LEAST BE NICE ABOUT IT! Not happy and the only good that came out of the experience was our pet is back home and safe!

We visited this clinic with our 2 year old Brittany. She'd been unwell for a few days and when she seemed to be getting worse we decided to bring her to the vet. We chose 911 on the recommendation of someone who had been there and we were very pleased with the care our dog received. The reception staff and vet tech were professional and knowledgeable. Dr Meyer examined her, ran some blood tests and gave us a detailed explanation of his diagnosis. He prescribed medications and sent us on our way feeling informed and relieved. Our dog starter feeling better by the next day and is fully recovered. Thank you Dr Jay K. Meyer and staff of Pet Dr 911!

Wow!! I brought in a stray I found on the side of the road. Dog was matted heavily, 105 fever and in really bad shape. I was expecting to put this dog down but Dr. Z went above and beyond and gave this little guy a fighting chance. Price was very reasonable for a Sunday emergency visit! Staff was very helpful and took the time to explain every test to be done and how to administer meds and care for pup after this visit. I'm not from this area but pet doc 911 really impressed me. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need.

They will charge you an arm and a leg only to tell you that they don't really know what is wrong with your pet. When you ask them about a diagnosis they will say they don't know and direct you to a vet tech, not even an actual vet. If your pets are sick please try to be proactive and take them elsewhere instead of waiting until the last minute and taking them here where they end up dying.

And I was told after I paid the $80 just to see the doctor they still said "IF" the doctor decides to see him. They didn't get a penny from me and we left to find a better help. Worst place ever. If your pet needs help you and your pet will probably need even more help after coming here. Rudest people I've ever met.

To not give CPR on a dying animal unless you pay for it, is quite disgusting. Save your self the pain of being treated as a paycheck to them. They will try to take as much money as they can from you. They pray on your pain and desperation to save you beloved pet. That's what happen to us a couple of hours ago with our puppy. We lose our puppy. So sad this place is the only place open late. Or we would of never gone there. Dr. had no compassion for my husband or our pet. All she wanted was run test that kept running the bill expensive. And at the end all came out negative. Nothing will be done for your pet unless you pay up front.

What can i say about this place my hamster was doing fine one day then one night i came back from school and it was just sneezing and sneezing and he wasnt eating or drinking water the next day i woke up early and rush to this Vet so they had me fill out some papers and took him in so then the dr comes in and she tells me that my hamster had an allergic reaction to the bedding(which were tree shavings)and she recommended i change the bedding for paper(the colored paper they sell at pet stores) and she also prescribed some medication and ok i go to the store i clean my hamster's home change his bedding and i give him the prescribed medication as prescribed by the dr by the way this was back in February and the medicine did help but only for like a day or 2 and then he goes back to the sneezing and well now my hamster has a swollen eye so i took him there again and now the dr looks at him and says that it could be that he scratched his eye by accident and he also recommended that i change out his cage and everything that has plastic cause he could be allergic to that (which i dont think thats it because i have had him on that same cage for like a year and he used to be happy and running around and healthy) but no now my hamster has two problems it is still sneezing and now his eye so over all i would say they are Ok drs but they are too pricy and they charge for every check up when they should check your pet really well so you dont have to go back again for the same problem

They were very good and patient with my puppy! I am extremely satisfied with the service they gave me and my dog! He got all of his shots here and they trimmed his nails and butt hair! He is still too young for the groomer so they even trimmed the hair around his eyes so he could see! The vets are amazing, they answered all my questions and concerns and I never left confused or with questions. I always felt comfortable here and they always saw me at my appointment time which I really appreciated. Overall extremely satisfied! :)

Although their staff may be friendly, I have NEVER left this clinic owing less than $150 (for one pet at a time) but it's usually around the $300 price range. They have always done things that are costly without consulting with me about the price first. I have never seen the same vet twice which makes me wonder about the quality of this place. The last time I went will be the last time ever. I went in for something unrelated and the vet checked my dog's belly which has a "fatty deposit" (they had told me this before). The vet recommended removal of the fatty deposit and gave me a quote of about $750 for the procedure. OUTRAGEOUS! I decided to go to another vet who checked her belly and discovered it wasn't even a fatty deposit as I'd been told several times before, but rather a hernia that he can fix for $175. I highly recommend going to see Dr. Thielen at Ware Road Animal Hospital instead. It takes a few days to get in for an appointment and the office visit is about $5 more but it's well worth it. He won't do anything that isn't necessary and will only give his honest recommendations. Don't get cheated of your money at Pet 911.

One of my Guinea pigs was having issues breathing (ended up having mild pneumonia), so I tried to get a same day appointment with my regular vet clinic. However, they were completely booked, which is understandable since it was a Sat, and their exotic animals doctor wasn't in. They advised me to seek emergency care elsewhere, however, since it sounded like a delicate issue, and they referred me to this place. The staff at this clinic was courteous and attentive. I had to pay an $80 emergency visit fee since I didn't have an appointment, but I was just so grateful to find a Guinea pig doctor on such short notice that I thought the price was totally worth it. I literally only had to wait for about 10-15min. They checked my little guy out, quoted me for additional tests that were required for diagnosis, and then proceeded after I agreed. They are very good about being upfront regarding costs. They have excellent communication policies. I was thoroughly pleased with their service. I was told their exotic animals doctors are available both on weekends and weekdays, although nights are a little iffy. That's basically the best availability I've found in the area so far.

It made no sense I ask them a couple of questions and they did not have an answer for it.I would not recommend this vet to anyone.

No one likes to see their pet in pain. You never know when an emergency involving your pet will occur. Duke, my Doberman puppy, impaled a metal rod handle into his left rear leg. WTH.
My wife called me hysterically telling me to get home immediately. I get home and see this metal rod sticking out of my dog's leg.
I grabbed Duke and rushed him to Banfield Hospital but the doctor was not available. The nurse at Banfield told me to take Duke to the emergency hospital across the street.
I'm new in the RGV and was not familiar with the emergency facility. I arrived and the staff assisted me immediately.
The doctor cleaned Duke's injury and gave Duke several stitches. Duke was given back to me safe and sound. The doctor stopped the blood and by the grace of God, Duke is home doing fine.
This place was great and the service I received was excellent. It's nice to know where to go if Duke needs emergency care in the future.

GARBAGE! As a pet clinic, their only priority is to make MONEY (and lots of it) The welfare of the pet is secondary to them. Their prices are exorbitant and the veterinarians love to push for expensive labs and radiographies. A respectful young technician explicitly told me that she took her own pet to another clinic. It says a lot when their own technicians don’t trust Pet Doctor 911 for their pets’ welfare. The veterinarians are very quick in recommending euthanasia. They should be ashamed for working for such a clinic. Finally, the worst part of all is that they still make people wait outside. Enough with the THEATRICS! Everyone is opened up and you can still guarantee safe Covid-19 protocols while allowing people be with their pets. It’s a shame they’re the only emergency pet clinic in the surrounding area.

Even though 4 hours passed from the time we got her there til we left you gave her no meds AND WORSE OF ALL you never addressed the issue that she couldn't even move! No movement in any limbs! 4 hours and nearly $700 later you did nothing to help her - it wasn't about the money it was about helping her which you did not do. She is not with us now and you didn't even make an attempt to save her YOU DID NOTHING TO HELP HER

Good Afternoon, Mr. Smith, we are unsure why you have left us this review, and the statements you have made are completely untrue. We have spoken over the phone twice, but we will gladly reiterate your visit. You brought your pet very ill through our emergency services and was taken into our care immediately. The doctor did their physical exam and ran the diagnostics that were needed on how your pet presented to our practice. The doctor called you and explained to you the severity of the patient’s diagnosis and urgency for immediate surgical intervention and told you this pet should not go home! We explained to you multiple times the diagnosis of your pet and even though you knew your pet’s critical condition. You opted to take the patient home with no type of medical attention. The doctor advised you multiple times not to and that if you would take the pet home he could die. Again, you, the owner, made the decision to take the pet home against the doctor’s recommendation. The technician placed your pet in your arms gently due to us knowing the critical state your pet was in, and we can gladly show you our video footage of that. Our staff is trained and knowledgeable on any situation that is thrown their way and is what makes us the only 24-hour emergency clinic in the Rio Grande Valley. So our practice is not at the “level training on par to a convenience store from 1981” as you state. You came into our practice without a mask screaming frantically and being extremely rude to the staff because the pet was handed to you in a critical state. You, the owner, opted to take the patient home in that grave state and against the doctor’s recommendation. You threw cuss words at the employees and threw your mask when handed one due to being inside our practice. When asked to sign an AMA (Against Medical Advice) you refused to and continued to use foul language. Even though you were ill-mannered, the staff continued to serve you with their utmost respect. We have spoken multiple times with you, explaining the condition of your pet and that we did everything we possibly could to what you allowed us to. Even after you were rude to us, we went ahead and still addressed any of your concerns. Your medical records will be sent to you via email. Thank you and Have a nice day.

Luckily here they helped her deliver the last pup which didn’t make it but what matters she’s safe and isn’t suffering no more. Affordable price since I couldn’t afford a c section Doctor was able to give her medicine to push out puppy at an affordable price. My dog is doing so

Worst Veterinarian I have ever been to. Facility was filthy and I was told they would keep my baby a couple of days and he'd be home. The next call I received from these murderers was to tell me he was dead. No concern what so ever. They misplaced his belongings refused to give me his medical records, said they had to review them. What's to review? Records or Records. Was told they would email them to me, two months later I still had not received them. I drive back to their facility to request them. The girl printed them out then told me she would be right back and took the papers to the back. She returned in about 10 minutes and said she needed to reprint the because they were hard to read. It's obvious they altered them and then reprinted them to give me what they wanted me to know. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

Was going to get my rabbit neutered there after the 55$ exotic consult for the 400$ estimate for surgery. They said no food or water after 10pm. My daughter said that would kill the rabbit, by getting GI stasis. We went to a real exotic pet veterinarian who said rabbits are not like cats and dogs and have to eat up until and after surgery or they will die. Had I listed to pet911 my rabbit would probably be dead and you can guarantee they would get their $400 regardless. Quacks! Pet911 also killed my moms teacup chihuahua by drawing blood and puncturing her lung. When my mom took her back saying she was really sick now they said her lungs were filling with blood and had to be put down. They took no responsibility for her death and still collected hundreds of dollars for it! They draw blood from the neck and can easily puncture a lung, which is what they did. DO NOT GO THERE. YOUR PET HAS A BETTER CHANCE WAITING AND SEEING A REAL VETERNARIAN THAN SEEING PET911 DOCTORS THAT DONT KNOW AND DONT CARE. PET911 vets want to spend the LEAST AMOUNT OF TIME WITH YOUR ANIMAL AND GET THE MOST MONEY OUT OF YOU!

So be prepared to spend $$$! Including a extra $150 charge incase they need to run more tests or medications on your pet. Pet parents are already so vulnerable and it feels like Pet 911 feeds off of that. Once my pet was discharged, I requested to speak to the vet. I understand they have emergencies. The vet had an attitude and made me feel like my questions were not important. Then says “ Is there anything else? I have an emergency.” With a condescending tone. After paying so much money I were to think my pet and I would be treated better with respect and quality. You only see the vet once and that’s it! You are lucky if the vet talks to you again after the consultation! I was warned but sometimes I have no choice but to take my pets to Pet 911. I would recommend Valley Pet Hospital. A kind caring hospital. Care is first, not so much the look of the clinic and money. I hope I don’t ever have to go back to Pet 911. Fingers crossed 🤞

I only came here because my baby kitten was really sick and all veterinarian places were closed happening this on a Saturday night. She wouldn’t eat, seemed really weak and sad. We ran to find a place to save her! We were petting her with so much care and love because she was really sad and weak so we took her to this “Vet clinic” because it was the only place open but the woman who attended her mistreated her and applied a strong medicine against fleas that killed my kitten of only 4 weeks!!! Also she didn’t want to analyze her blood or poop to find out what was wrong with her and save her. They practically did nothing but to kill my baby kitten just for the sake of selling a medicine for fleas that they knew would kill her!!! They did NOTHING to save her!
**Kittens shouldn’t be administered any strong medicines** I thought they knew better!!
Never again will I visit this place that does NOT care about our lovely pets but only about extracting money out of our wallets.

This vet is a murderer. I took my baby in because my real vet didn't have the equipment for the test she felt needed to be run, otherwise I would have left this filthy office. They took him to another room to examine him and run a test which I don't even know if they ran. They said he needed to be hospitalized for a couple of days. I called the next day and was told he was doing well. The next call I received was to tell me they had killed him. When I went to collect his things they couldn't find them. There were 28 boxes on the floor behind the counter and 7 or 8 on the counter. They were the kind of boxes you get when they have cremated your pet. I also ask for his records which they refused to give me. They said the doctor had to review them, unless he was going to change something there is no reason for that. They informed me after he "reviewed" the records they would email them to me, which they didn't. So the next month I drove to McAllen to pick them up and was told again he had to review them so I waited. I'm certain if there were records, along with the supposed test they ran they were altered.
I urge you to call the state vet licensing office and get a complaint form if you had a similar experience with this vet. We can only hope if the state receives enough reports on him he will be investigated and shut down.

My puppy lasted two days and died the night before I went to check up on him and they took hours to take us and they told me he was doing good. A couple of hours later I get a call that he had passed and that we didn't owe anything because of our deposit and at the end they said our balance was 1500 . After that they were gonna call us for a refund I told them not to call my husband because calls are strongly restricted in his work and they went ahead and call him. I would of really appreciated if they respect once's decision.

Worst experience I had ever dealt with!! my dog was attacked she had her small intestines hanging out I only had $800 with me and they wanted $1,600 upfront not willing to take payment plans. so I just paid for what they did and I had to walk out of there with my dog's intestines hanging out of her belly!!! thankfully they did wrap her up I will never ever go there again!!! thank the sweet Jesus I did find another vet the following morning and she got the surgery done they were more compassionate and more caring than anybody I had encounter at this Clinic.

So far so good. Great place. Great response time for non urgent/life threatening matter. Treated with kindness and upmost respect at the front desk and in the back room. Rooms are perfect size and techs offer juice or water as you wait for the vet to show. Very clean and open spaced lobby so dogs aren't at each other's throats when in contact. Wish there was some kind of paper towel dispenser since most clients dont come prepared for their dogs to have accidents in the lobby. Overall 5 star no complaints .

They were always friendly & answered any & all questions I had regarding the care of my puppy who had to use a splint. Staff was always gentle with my puppy.
They go over the prices of the services so you know exactly what to expect.
Staff would also call to ask how my puppy was doing in between appointments.

I gave two stars just for the fact that they are there at all hours of the night, unlike other nearby areas. I really appreciate that, and I am sure not everyone there is uncaring. Unfortunately I did have a terrible experience here. They delayed caring for my greatly suffering pet, despite my pleading to hurry. The first person who came to the room with the paperwork, was extremely uncaring, and seemed completely unmoved by my pet's situation. I got the definite feeling that she had no feeling whatsoever for animals. However, I had a different experience the only other time I went. (I only returned because it was the only vet that was open) Different people than I saw before, people who seemed nice and a little caring.(with a different person doing the paperwork in the room) but the only place for my cat was near barking dogs which I think would be traumatic in most situations. I kept him with me in the room as soon as possible although he was sedated & slept through it. But they should have a separate place for animals that is quieter. Both times were quite expensive but at least they were there when no one else was. I even liked the one vet that I saw, the second time. He seemed kind & capable. I guess you won’t know what you will get when you go.

I have been to 911 Pet doctor twice, both times for my Boykin Spaniel, Paris. The first time, she ate an entire chicken thigh, and Dr. Holly Horn was helpful in providing correct digestive care to make sure she passed the bones safely. This second time, Paris had a VERY tragic accident on the ranch that resulted in a ruptured bladder and some blood clots. Dr. Meyer performed an amazing surgery and saved my dogs life. I listened to his advice, took part in the tests that he recommended we take, and I am glad that I did. Without Dr. Meyer, my dog would be dead.... Plain and simple. I was quite worried about paying for all of this right away as I was unsure on total cost, but we took everything one step at a time and did what was right for the dog. This clinic WILL work with you if you are polite and understanding that you need to pay for medical expenses. No, we cannot all fork over a couple thousand dollars at once for emergency surgeries, but as customers we need to understand that they need to get paid just as much as we expect them to understand how difficult it can be to do that. There is always a way to figure it out. The vet technician staff are made up of many young people, they appear to be either in college or fresh out of it (I admire this, as it is an investment to give young folks the opportunity to learn and shine. You can see in their eyes that many of them are passionate in what they do). I was a little concerned about lack of phone calls to update on blood work and etc, but they are all very helpful, supportive, informative, and mature. As customers, we also have to understand that in an emergency clinic such as this one, sometimes there are pets that are in much worse shape than ours are..... I tried my best to be considerate and understand that they were probably very busy. I am impressed with the staff, the doctors, and the atmosphere. Y'all are professionals and deserve a pat on the back. Consumers- remember that in situations of emergency, stay calm and think logically. When we get emotional, we do not relate to the logic that these professionals have.... they work with pets every day and perform thousands of surgeries. Trust em, they know what they're doing.

Don't be me! Take your fur babies in here right away.. You be the judge. They will always tell you what your going to pay before they proceed. If you can't do it then take your chances elsewhere. You get what you pay for.

Rather than inspect my pet in front of me, they took the animal to another room and then recommended $240 in diagnostic exams. Vet did not provide any specifics or convey any general ideas as to what was wrong. I had to put my pet down, and staff there were completely insensitive. They were eating food, and laughing away.
I understand that it's their work environment, and certainly not saying that it should always be a somber environment, but they also should be aware of what's going on at their place. In fact, other places now a place of quiet for someone to grieve. One last thing, they will charge extra if after hours.

(did you know its a crime to know you cant pay for your pets bill and have work done anyway.?? HUH? yea that is a sign on the wall they made it perfectly clear your PET does not matter only that you can pay the pets bill) they rack up a laundry of items that you cant prove if they actually did any of them just to generate a huge bill then say you have a buffer in the estimate in case it cost more then hammer you with extra fees on the way out the door all the while knowing your at their mercy, if my Vet would have been open to begin with & it was not a emergency and if I would have read the reviews on the web here I would have made a U TURN and went to the other vet down the road! and waited for them to open after lunch! this place is nothing but a money hole, that can only stabilize your pet and then send you to the real vet after they vacuum the money out of your wallet in the nearly $1,000 I spent to find out my pet had additional injuries that we told them about at the time but they didn't bother to inspect!! until the next day and wanted more money to TEMP fix that too!! "a $1,000 band-aid" I told them no thanks paid my bill and I'm never setting foot here again!! oh and by the way its $100 to sedate your pet so they can treat them WOW! that is some insane extra fees not included in the original estimate hows that for a rip off!! I still have a injured pet and am out 50% of the money I will need to get her fixed by the REAL VET! unscrupulous and unprofessional people! taking advantage of pet parents just because they can!!!

They charge you for things you don't even want and expect you to pay then and there. This place is a disgrace. They should not be classified as vets. We took our puppy in only because our vet was closed. Took him in for a wound on his abdomen and were told his only option was euthanasia because he would not survive. We decided to get a second opinion the next day and came to find out all he needed was antibiotics and wound laser therapy. One week later our puppy is fully healed and very much alive. 911 vet charged 80 bucks only to say we needed to put him down. We would definitely not recommend anyone take their pet to this vet. It is a complete rip off and they believe strongly in euthanasia..

Last night my son and I took our poodle whom had swallowed a whole chicken wing, we were so scared my son crying so bad as we had never experienced this with out pet, yes they explained the office visit cost and the xrays costs I proceeded, after xrays showed the bone doc comes in to say he needed surgery and that the tech would come in with some quotes. The fee for a possible 30 min procedure was outrageous, an hour even worst I asked if I could give $300 and the rest when I come pick up my pup, they flat out say no can't be done. My son frantic didn't want to leave, me without the extra funds at the moment told him sorry we are leaving and the next day we would take our pet to see his vet...we left I was so upset that its a 911 for what my pet didn't get the help he needed...sorry glad others have had better experiences or should I say money is valued more than saving my pup!

All my pets are patients at 911. I, as well as my fur babies have always been treated very well. Just yesterday my son and I rushed our Jackson into their office, as he had been hit by a car. I called 911 Vet on the way to let them know we were in route. As soon as we walked in they rushed us back. The assistant and Vet were very attentive to Jackson and they made sure to keep us posted on his condition. Jackson will be there again tonight and they have called us several times to update us on his progress. Great staff.

Earlier this week I took my cat into the hospital because he accidentally ingested some insect poison. My cat looked terrible all he would do was vomit foam and started pooping blood I really thought he was going to die, being from Roma we don't have many pet clinics nearby that could assist me immediately so I decided to take my cat to Mcallen, I waited a very short period of time in the waiting room and got some tests up and running for my Stewie, got the diagnosis, treatment, some shots and they gave him some food and fluids. As soon as I got home and started giving him the medication he completely changed for the better he's now eating and jumping up and down!! I must admit the bill wasn't cheap but thats the type of commitment you make when owning a pet. Great experience at this clinic, very friendly staff, and I'd definitely visit this clinic again if needed. Thank you for taking care of my baby :)

I took my daughters puppy for the second time to put her down because her body didn't react to the meds. She got worst and was in bad shape so my daughter called and asked if she can take her in to put her down to rest. The staff was very thoughtful, friendly and understanding. Glad there is a 911 hospital opened 24/7. Yes it's pricy but well worth it for your loved one. Only thing it would be nice to have a payment plan cause some of us can't afford many prices at that moment of an emergency.

I'm always hesitant to leave a review that may burn a bridge, but this has to be said. I've never had a more distressing, absurd, and disappointing experience with a vet than I have at Pet Doctor 911. Poor bedside manner: Despite that my dog was there for about 3 days and I spent over 1.5k, I only spoke to a vet for maybe 20 minutes. Maybe. I had to call for updates and only got to speak to vet techs during these calls, rarely speaking to the same one twice. When your pet is very sick and you are paying for a service, you are owed a conversation with a veterinarian. They should call you. Every time I visited the dog, she looked worse. Anytime I questioned this, I was met with passive aggressiveness. You are allowed to ask questions when your pet's state is regressing and you are entitled to some answers. Her blood values went from bad(but not deathly) to not even detectable by the time she got to another vet.Blindly treating: Even though we never received a formal diagnoses, my dog was shot up with all sorts of medications, vitamins, and fluids. I was impressed that a vet could look at the dog for 5 minutes and know what was wrong and not fill the need to investigate more. The overkill on the drugs/fluids ended up hurting my dog more than helping her. Fleas: Towards the end of her time at the clinic, my dog became infested with huge fleas from the yard they would take her to potty in. Not only was she slowly dying, she was now itchy and raw. When I asked how this could have happened, they asked why the dog was not on flea and tick preventative. Its absurd that they do not think they are responsible for flea & tick control in their environment, regardless if the pet is protected. Just absurd. Its a shame that this is the only emergency vet in the area because it is obvious they are so overrun with patients they don't have the capacity to give your pet the care, critical thought, and time they sometimes really need.

My dog broke his leg, and we took him to this facility and they did an awesome job. The doctor saved his leg. He was very nice and kind. He took his time to explain the treatment to my family.

They couldn't tell him anything and just wanted money from him and very rude to him and his elderly father! Im glad i have her now.. sucks that this is the only 24 hr place... this isn't the only bad exp from this place...

My heart was crushed when I came home to find my senior 14 yr old blue heeler with her leg hanging off of her body. So I took her to Pet Doctor 911 because it was late. The vet tech put her on a doggie stretcher and treated her gently. I was surprised at how informed the vet tech was because it shows that the clinic has individuals who educate each other. The vet was absolutely amazing and answered all of my questions thoroughly. He even let me know that she may need surgery in 2-3 years so that I could start saving now. I told him that I live on the second floor at my apartment complex and he typed out a letter of recommendation to our apartment manager so that we can live in a lower level apartment so that we don't have to carry her up and down the stairs. It turned out that my dog had a patrial ACL tear in her knee. The vet prescribed anti inflammatory/pain reliever and joint supplements for senior dogs. My dog is walking, running, and even jumping (she's not supposed to but she gets excited). So I'm very happy with the service and highly recommend you go there if you have a pet emergency at night.

Dropped my pet off at 6am and I had to keep calling to check status. Finally at 4:30 pm a office manager called me and was not understanding kept giving excuses and did not admit it was wrong on their end. Did not try to even keep my business after I said I would find another vet. If I am paying almost $700 for a procedure I expect a phone call or answers not after the surgery when my dog is in recovery.

Went with my mom as an emergency, her pet had been shot! We waited patiently to be seen in their "not so welcoming" waiting area (very small and cramped). The receptionists are not friendly and seem very unhappy at their job. So sad to have people that don't act like they care sitting at the front desk as the first people you see walking in! When we finally got into see the doctor, we were told our pet needed surgery to have the fragments removed and immediately asked for money to start....I get that, I understand they want to be sure they won't be stiffed with the bill. BUT AT LEAST BE NICE ABOUT IT! Not happy and the only good that came out of the experience was our pet is back home and safe!

We visited this clinic with our 2 year old Brittany. She'd been unwell for a few days and when she seemed to be getting worse we decided to bring her to the vet. We chose 911 on the recommendation of someone who had been there and we were very pleased with the care our dog received. The reception staff and vet tech were professional and knowledgeable. Dr Meyer examined her, ran some blood tests and gave us a detailed explanation of his diagnosis. He prescribed medications and sent us on our way feeling informed and relieved. Our dog starter feeling better by the next day and is fully recovered. Thank you Dr Jay K. Meyer and staff of Pet Dr 911!

Wow!! I brought in a stray I found on the side of the road. Dog was matted heavily, 105 fever and in really bad shape. I was expecting to put this dog down but Dr. Z went above and beyond and gave this little guy a fighting chance. Price was very reasonable for a Sunday emergency visit! Staff was very helpful and took the time to explain every test to be done and how to administer meds and care for pup after this visit. I'm not from this area but pet doc 911 really impressed me. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need.

There are a lot of people whom take their pets here because it's conveniently open 24 hours a day but PLEASE don't take them! They will charge you an arm and a leg only to tell you that they don't really know what is wrong with your pet. When you ask them about a diagnosis they will say they don't know and direct you to a vet tech, not even an actual vet. If your pets are sick please try to be proactive and take them elsewhere instead of waiting until the last minute and taking them here where they end up dying.

All the wanted was to gouge us for money and never once mentioned the real problem or how they'd try to help. Everything was just money. And I was told after I paid the $80 just to see the doctor they still said "IF" the doctor decides to see him. They didn't get a penny from me and we left to find a better help. Worst place ever. If your pet needs help you and your pet will probably need even more help after coming here. Rudest people I've ever met.

To not give CPR on a dying animal unless you pay for it, is quite disgusting. Save your self the pain of being treated as a paycheck to them. They will try to take as much money as they can from you. They pray on your pain and desperation to save you beloved pet. That's what happen to us a couple of hours ago with our puppy. We lose our puppy. So sad this place is the only place open late. Or we would of never gone there. Dr. had no compassion for my husband or our pet. All she wanted was run test that kept running the bill expensive. And at the end all came out negative. Nothing will be done for your pet unless you pay up front.

What can i say about this place my hamster was doing fine one day then one night i came back from school and it was just sneezing and sneezing and he wasnt eating or drinking water the next day i woke up early and rush to this Vet so they had me fill out some papers and took him in so then the dr comes in and she tells me that my hamster had an allergic reaction to the bedding(which were tree shavings)and she recommended i change the bedding for paper(the colored paper they sell at pet stores) and she also prescribed some medication and ok i go to the store i clean my hamster's home change his bedding and i give him the prescribed medication as prescribed by the dr by the way this was back in February and the medicine did help but only for like a day or 2 and then he goes back to the sneezing and well now my hamster has a swollen eye so i took him there again and now the dr looks at him and says that it could be that he scratched his eye by accident and he also recommended that i change out his cage and everything that has plastic cause he could be allergic to that (which i dont think thats it because i have had him on that same cage for like a year and he used to be happy and running around and healthy) but no now my hamster has two problems it is still sneezing and now his eye so over all i would say they are Ok drs but they are too pricy and they charge for every check up when they should check your pet really well so you dont have to go back again for the same problem

They were very good and patient with my puppy! I am extremely satisfied with the service they gave me and my dog! He got all of his shots here and they trimmed his nails and butt hair! He is still too young for the groomer so they even trimmed the hair around his eyes so he could see! The vets are amazing, they answered all my questions and concerns and I never left confused or with questions. I always felt comfortable here and they always saw me at my appointment time which I really appreciated. Overall extremely satisfied! :)

They didn't mind that my dog pooped on then from how scared she was. I don't what the others people deal is ,but they're great there. By the way the bleeding was going on for 2 hours until they stopped it there. Great place for emergencies.

I have gone here several times with 3 different dogs. Although their staff may be friendly, I have NEVER left this clinic owing less than $150 (for one pet at a time) but it's usually around the $300 price range. They have always done things that are costly without consulting with me about the price first. I have never seen the same vet twice which makes me wonder about the quality of this place. The last time I went will be the last time ever. I went in for something unrelated and the vet checked my dog's belly which has a "fatty deposit" (they had told me this before). The vet recommended removal of the fatty deposit and gave me a quote of about $750 for the procedure. OUTRAGEOUS! I decided to go to another vet who checked her belly and discovered it wasn't even a fatty deposit as I'd been told several times before, but rather a hernia that he can fix for $175. I highly recommend going to see Dr. Thielen at Ware Road Animal Hospital instead. It takes a few days to get in for an appointment and the office visit is about $5 more but it's well worth it. He won't do anything that isn't necessary and will only give his honest recommendations. Don't get cheated of your money at Pet 911.

One of my Guinea pigs was having issues breathing (ended up having mild pneumonia), so I tried to get a same day appointment with my regular vet clinic. However, they were completely booked, which is understandable since it was a Sat, and their exotic animals doctor wasn't in. They advised me to seek emergency care elsewhere, however, since it sounded like a delicate issue, and they referred me to this place. The staff at this clinic was courteous and attentive. I had to pay an $80 emergency visit fee since I didn't have an appointment, but I was just so grateful to find a Guinea pig doctor on such short notice that I thought the price was totally worth it. I literally only had to wait for about 10-15min. They checked my little guy out, quoted me for additional tests that were required for diagnosis, and then proceeded after I agreed. They are very good about being upfront regarding costs. They have excellent communication policies. I was thoroughly pleased with their service. I was told their exotic animals doctors are available both on weekends and weekdays, although nights are a little iffy. That's basically the best availability I've found in the area so far.

All I can say please get a second opinion... This place is out to get your money they don't care about your pets. They misdiagnose my pet just to get my money I took my dog to another vet and what this people were recommending was not the right treatment for my dog he could of die. It made no sense I ask them a couple of questions and they did not have an answer for it.I would not recommend this vet to anyone.
