Dr. Teleah Grand and the staff at Animal Care Center are wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Grand. She literally saved my dog's life with the use of traditional Chinese herbal treatment. He was basically considered a hopeless case when I found her. Dr. Grand was our last hope, and she has been relentless in working through his issues. The other good news is that he doesn't mind going to the clinic. He loves her and her staff. Like a few others have mentioned, this place is expensive. The care does not match the price. We finally listened to people born and raised in this area and went to a vet that is from this area. Avoid this vet office.  They are over priced and misleading.  Do not recommend. Our last visit to this office was with our german shepherd who has ear issues.  Long story short...after spending well over $700 abs being told additional tests will determine the issue so that we can effectively treat...we were told 'she has allergys and the isn't much we can do for it other than what we've been doing.'I understand you need to tike causes out but you do not assure a client that doing expensive tests will help cure your dog's issues...then turn around and say there is nothing you can do. We've been using this vet clinic for over 10 years, and have always been very pleased with the level of care they provide for our precious little dog and cat. Since moving to this state this was our first choice of veterinary care. It was literally our first phone call. We didn't know anyone here that could give us a recommendation and didn't have any ill animals so we weren't picky. In the beginning things seemed to be great. However, over the years it changed. The new staff at the front desk are incompetent. They get records mixed up easily. There is a Google review about this same thing. I ignored it and chose to see only the positive. In hindsight...well you know hindsight is 20/20. There are several things I could list here but I think I would run out of characters. You an feel free to contact me if you want specifics. I'll keep it short. Our family chose to sever ties with Dr. Grand recently. A tipping point for us was them charging us $17 for 1 pill. Yea, you read correctly, $17 for one pill. We asked for a call back to go over our $700+ bill for a two night stay (no operation, blood work, food, medicine and fluids). No one called us back. We asked twice. After severing ties I thought, 'maybe it was us expecting competence from customer service people.' 'Maybe my expectations were too high.' 'Maybe her prices are inline with other vets in the area. I thought all of this until today. Today I picked up our animal from a two night stay (same problem, same thing as above mentioned). I expected the bill to be $1000. Again, I was thinking maybe Dr. Grand's prices were inline with others. Thankfully, I was wrong. The bill was only $469. This bill included blood work, fluids, 2 different medicines and 5 cans of food). Remember that pill Dr. Grand charged us $17? Well, this doctor gave us those PILLS (plural) for FREE! So, today was the day I realized Dr. Grand's prices are ridiculous. Here's the thing, I don't mind paying higher prices but great service must accompany it. I look at all the good reviews on here and I think I was like them. I didn't know better until I did my research and found better. Better is out there. It does exist. I am SOOOOOO happy with this vet. Nancy at the check-in is fantastic and has great customer service skills. The techs are above and beyond excellent. Dr Grand is very competent and WAY above average in her skills. She literally sat down on the floor with my boxer for the exam and loved on him like he was her dog. At first, we loved this place. They took good care of our cat and dog (even though they were a little expensive). Then, we took a stray cat in to get checked out because we were going to be adopting it. When they examined the cat, they determined it was a GIRL and PREGNANT. Needless to say, we freaked out, and we started buying kitten supplies (as well as spending more than $300 in x-rays and ultrasounds). It turns out, the cat was NEVER pregnant. They read the (brand-new-never-been-used) sonogram machine wrong. So we took her to a new vet. This new vet discovered that SHE is really a HE. And he's been neutered. We were shocked and disappointed that Animal Care Center couldn't even distinguish a male cat from a female cat. And on top of that, telling us she was pregnant!!!! Animal Care Center has agreed to refund us the cost of the x-rays, ultrasound and physical exam. In my opinion, they could have done more. We are NEVER going to that place again. Be warned!!!! We've been using this vet for about 2 years and have been extremely happy with them. The employees are always kind and very friendly. They love animals and show it every time we go there. I take my Boxers to Dr. Grand. I especially appreciate the time she takes with my senior dog. I've been to other vets (and human doctors!) who really rush the exam. I don't feel that way at this clinic. Keeping my old boy comfortable and active into his golden years is very important to me. Dr. Grand has been very helpful in keeping him healthy. The joint supplement and anti-inflammatory she prescribed has made a big difference in his quality of life. Read Less
