You never talk to a veterinarian because they are still running curbside (May 2022) and you feel pressured to make decisions while the vet tech is roasting in the Texas sun outside of your vehicle. The vet techs would rather lie to you than go ask an adult, and the vet will perform services on your animal without your knowledge and surprise you with a bill. They also charged us for something we did not want and did not receive. The tech lied about what medication our cat would get because she didn't know the difference between a probiotic and an amino acid supplement (I would have said no if she told me the truth). She also lied that they had received a copy of our previous vet records when they did not. This place bamboozles you and overcharges. 18 months ago, I had a poor experience with this place but after speaking to the office manager, I thought I would give it another try. That was a huge mistake.

I began taking my new puppy to Baze. My biggest disappointment is the fact they will not write a prescription for the medications they provide which would allow me to shop pricing. They forced me to purchase the meds from them. They came up with several excuses, including chewy.com, allivet.com, and pets.com are not reliable sites, they wanted to monitor my puppy (even though they never called or asked how my puppy was doing), I should support small business, and several others. Their drug prices are nearly double what you can by on these reputable online animal pharmacies. I'm new to the area and this is definitely the first time I have experienced this with a vet. I never actually met the vet either because they never came out to the car to discuss my new pet or they were 'in surgery' so it's hard to say my puppy was even examined by the vet. At one point they offered to get closer to the online pricing, but by then their lack of customer service for my request had me concerned for my new family member. Just my experience, but thought I would share so others can make an informed decision.

Wonderful staff. Excellent with my older dog for shots. After we got home, he had a reaction to Kennel Cough Vaccine, which he had never had before. The staff was very quick to instruct me on how to take care of it and offer any assistance needed.

Great experience. I called last minute on a weekend and asked if they could see my mom's dog, and they said to come in. I got there gave name and address and was taken straight to the back to see the veterinarian, was given some drops for her ears and out the door. Very efficient and my mom's dog is doing so much better. Thank you.

They keep their appointments and the lady at the front desk is very helpful. It's too bad he will be retiring but he has definitely been a Dr. that I will remember. Words will never describe the care this clinic offers. They are so genuine and sweet. They have been there for my pup since the day I got her. We went through a Parvo scare and the clinic got me in ASAP and were able to diagnose and treat the problem at hand and put a puppy smile back on my little ones face. They consistently work with my hectic work schedule to ensure I can get my pup taken care of. They are always so friendly, kind and extremely attentive to the concerns I have and attentive to the well being of my pup. I always walk out with an ease of mind because I know my puppy is in the best hands in midland. I HIGHLY recommend this clinic to any individual/family who has a fur baby they love with all their heart! They will love your animal as much as you do!

I took our new puppy here I actually got there a good bit early. They got me right in anyway the lady at the front desk is very nice as well as the vet. I even made an appointment to go back reasonable prices, no "new pet fee" like other vets around here! They accept cash only though.

I got a new puppy and had been researching to find a good Vet in Midland that didn't charge an arm and a leg. I ran across Baze Animal Clinic and decided to give it a try. They don't take credit cards, or checks so you have to pay in cash, which is no big deal.
The lady that answers the phone is very kind, she tells you all the information you need to know and explains everything thoroughly for your first visit. My pups first visit was $60.00 for his first time office fee, and his vaccinations. Later we had to get him neutered since hes a shelter pup so I setup his appointment. In total I ended up paying $130 for his surgery, his first dose of Rattlesnake Vaccine, getting 2 teeth pulled, and getting his nails trimmed.
The office is very clean and does not smell bad like other people have told me about there Vets offices. I am very happy with the service and the care and concern they show for my pup.
Dr. Baze literally does his job because he LOVES animals not because he wants to screw people over with outrageous bills.
You will not be disappointed!!

We have recently moved and were looking for a new veterinarian at our new destination, and wanted to leave Baze a review. I was blown away by the services rendered immediately and their excellent customer service. Baze was extremely expedient! I was never in the clinic more than 15 minutes per visit. They treated my wife, pup, and I with the utmost courtesy and respect. They were very reasonably priced. You won't regret taking your animal here. 5 stars to you Baze! We wish we could move you with us.

Our first appointment was scheduled but prior to the date of her first check up with him, my puppy was bitten by an older dog on the face. I cleaned the wound the night it happened but when I checked on her at 5:00am the wound had already become infected. I called his office an hour before it opened and he allowed me to bring her in right then. After he treated her and I was just about to walk out the door he called me back in and asked when my first appointment was scheduled (it was three days later) so he went ahead and did her full check-up and gave the vaccinations so I wouldn't have to come back so soon. Wonderful service!
Emergency care (outside of his business hours) w/ antibiotics + new patient fee (for her first check-up) + vaccinations = $60.00

When my vet moved I needed to find a new vet. Some friends have used Dr Baze for years so thought I'd give him a try. I couldn't be happier. Dr Baze is kind and good to my dogs. One night one of my dogs was having something strange going on. It was late so I called the clinic number to leave a message for them to call me. I was surprised when Dr Baze called me back in just a few minutes. They got me right in the next morning. I think he is a great vet.
