Our Veterinarians are Dr. Aaron Spiegel and Dr. Madison McGee who are graduates and proud alumni of A&M University. Our staff includes Amber Goodman, Kirsty Daigle, Jessica Harrell, Krystal Covington, Alora Berry, Summer Jones, Kayla Tran, Mason Roccaforte, and Madyson Guidry.

Spurlock Vet Clinic (Dr. Ford) almost killed our cat last week!! After two weeks of visits I was sent home with an appetite stimulant, pain meds, and instructions to buy Feliway from Petsmart to heal ...
Spurlock Vet Clinic (Dr. Ford) almost killed our cat last week!! After two weeks of visits I was sent home with an appetite stimulant, pain meds, and instructions to buy Feliway from Petsmart to heal my cat’s failing liver. I am so thankful that I asked for his file and noticed elevated liver enzymes on his blood work and was able to rush him to a second vet. If you know anything about cats - elevated liver enzymes are a huge no no (they were high and nice and bolded on the paper work - enough for a common place non doctor like myself to find and look up). The second vet saved my cat’s life by outfitting him with a feeding tube. He now is in immense pain eating from a tube due to Dr. Ford’s negligence. Dr. Ford has not called once since that day to check on my cat. He did not care. His lack of compassion with animals and skills for that matter is honestly appalling. He sent me home to watch my cat slowly die because he had given up caring. PLEASE. I beg of you to stay away from this place - and if you think the other vets are better? They also looked at my cat and gave him guidance....I hope Spurlock had a wonderful Labor Day weekend while I was fighting to save my cat’s liver!

Had a terrible experience with Dr. Magee. Took my 3 y/o pug in to be spayed and ir was a catastrophe. She quit breathing, they revived her and she barked and they sedated her again and she became unresponsive and I had to have her put down. I felt Dr Magee was rather rude because she knew she screwed up. She was very defensive. I will never take another animal there and I tell everyone I can about this. It's been almost a year and I still get angry at her carelessness when I think about it. I do have another dog that I love dearly but Bella was special.

Dr. Spiegel has provided wonderful care for several of my dogs since he opened his practice almost 12 years ago. He also takes the time to discuss the situation and options thoroughly. After expanding and updating his facility and with Dr. McGee joining him a few years ago, they've grown to a top notch clinic that I highly recommend!

The staff and doctors are wonderful, caring people. They have given all of my babies the best care. We just recently lost our 6-month-old kitten to a neurological disorder and Dr Spiegel and staff were so understanding and caring through our loss. I appreciate the sweet sympathy card they sent to us. And now, thanks to Dr. Spiegel, we have another sweet baby kitten who has won our hearts!

We have the best vet! Dr. Spiegal knew how worried I was about Bonnie being sick and that we were going out of town...He let me know that my mother in law could bring her in at any time while we were gone and even called to check on her a few minutes ago! It was VERY comforting. If you are looking for a vet, I highly recommend Spurlock Road Veterinarian Clinic!

I love Spurlock Vet! I have been with them a few years as well. I just wish they had a little bit more time to be more personable with my babies like a vet I used to have in Washington. He would always sit down on the floor with the dogs and talk to them and give them a little attention before and after shots etc. My dogs used to love to go to the vet even though they were going for shots or surgery. It's also pretty hard to pay the entire bill all at once. I have noticed there are a select few that make payments. I asked about this and was told no they don't accept payments but it's hard for us seniors. They don't even offer a senior discount. Otherwise, I wouldn't take my dogs any where else. Per my comment to my prior statement I rescind my 5 star rating to a 1. How would you like to almost lose your baby, rush her to the er, spend a fortune, call your vet the next day, wait 6 hours and the vet left this afternoon without bothering to call me back! Real sweet!

She quit breathing, they revived her and she barked and they sedated her again and she became unresponsive and I had to have her put down. I felt Dr Magee was rather rude because she knew she screwed up. She was very defensive. I will never take another animal there and I tell everyone I can about this. Dr. Spiegel has provided wonderful care for several of my dogs since he opened his practice almost 12 years ago. He also takes the time to discuss the situation and options thoroughly.
