I have been using County Line for several years now, and cannot praise them enough for the exceptional care that they have given my cats. I can think of a dozen instances where they have shown compassion and love towards my cats, but most recently is what sticks out. I adopted a neonatal kitten a few months ago, and she came with some health problems. Between referrals to specialists equipped to handle her tiny body, to taking the time to answer my million questions with patience and kindness, they have shown nothing but professionalism and passion for what they do. Everyone that works there is amazing, but there are some true standouts. Connie has always been amazing; she truly understands that no animal is the same and that they all come with their own vibrant personalities. LOVE these people. All the staff from the front desk, techs, and Dr. Fowler are very sweet and truly care about your pet. I felt like their prices were reasonable or at least comparable to other Vets but what will bring us back is the loving attention our dog got as well as the at they made sure we understood all of the treatment plan well. The staff was very kind and helpful. They were able to get me in for an appointment on short notice for shots and then added a furminator treatment and then microchipping. If zero stars was possible, that would be more appropriate. The staff is patient and understanding. Dr. Pearson was fantastic but left the practice long ago. The alternative medicine specialist left the practice sometime ago. Could it be because Dr Fowler cares more about the almighty dollar than the animals she took an oath to care for? Don't trust your 4 legged family members to this woman. I wouldn't take a grasshopper there. County line is building a  brand new million dollar facility. Too bad to you can't polish a turd. I've taken my dog to vets in Houston, Fort Worth and Austin. My dog had been balding, gaining weight and in a bad mood for years. Never aggressive, just a grouch. County line vet clinic is the first and only place that really tried to find out what was going on rather than saying, "oh, he's just getting old" like all of the other vets would say. He's been on medication for his low thyroid for a year now and all of his hair has come back, he's lost all of that weight and he's just all around a happier dog. I can't tell you how many people mistake him for a puppy. I'm forever grateful to this vet for helping my baby feel better. Can't say enough about County Line Vet. The entire staff is amazing. We have taken our dog Dakota to County Line for four years and have always been so grateful for the amazing care. Dr. Karen Pearson, Abby, and the entire staff are just incredible. Our Pets have been patients with Dr. Fowler since we moved to New Braunfels in 2007. We love Dr. Fowler so much we followed her when she opened County Line Veterinary Clinic. Everyone single staff member in her office love our pets just as much as we do. Even when they are less than pleasant patients, like our grumpy old cat Caesar. Despite his challenges during exams everyone greeted him with love. Sadly he recently passed away. The staff cried right along with us at his loss. Their love and devotion to the care of our animals is evident in everything they do. We wouldn't trust our pets with anyone else. This is the best vet I have ever taken my dog to! They put up with his bratty behavior, and handle him so well. The communication they have always had with me is beyond spectacular. My dog had IVDD and not only were they so compassionate, they were a huge support system for me. They called everyday to check up on my dog and answered all of my questions with confidence. I'm new to the area. County Line Veterinary Clinic was recommended to me through Next Door. I was able to get in at a moment's notice. Super nice people. Dr. Pearce and her tech, whose name I can't remember of course, were terrific. Explained costs as we went. No one's ever done that before. That was impressive. Gave my Michou a free nail trim, too. The front office staff were prompt in greeting customers and polite. The waiting room area was clean and organized. The vet techs were also polite and attentive. They did a great job at making sure my little furbaby was comfortable and happy during his checkup. He was so busy eating all his treats that he didn't even notice the temp check, fecal exam and shots. The vet had great "bedside manner". Great place to take your pets!! I highly recommend this vet!! Everyone there is so nice and caring!! The customer service is phenomenal!! I sent them a facebook message late Sunday night about my dog having a cut on his chest and they responded within minutes and said I could come in first thing Monday morning. Their prices are great and very fair! Its hard to find a vet that actually takes the time to listen to your concern. I swear by this wonderful practice.  I live in Austin, TX, and there are plenty of veterinary services that I can use between here and there, but I am so willing to make the trek to take my Boston Terrier there!  Harley (his name) absolutely has NO fear of his visits here, which as a long time dog owner is rare for me to have experienced!  They know Harley by name the moment he walks in, and added bonus, they know me too!  Always a pleasant greeting at arrival with a sincere appreciative greet, and happy to see he and I are back!  Harley is only 8 months old, so we have visited several times for shots, wellness check ups, and so forth.  I feel comfortable and relaxed here that Harley's health is in their best interest, as attention to detail is always first at hand when he visits.  He absolutely LOVES Abby!!  Abby's interaction from me from the very first visit was vital.  She made me feel like there were no dumb questions, and I asked many questions!  Abby instantly took the time to bond with Harley!  And that's why we will continue to go here.  Both of the doctors on staff are just as fantastic.  Harley has been seen by both Dr. Fowler, and Dr. Pearson.  Whenever there is a concern about Harley's health, (one time he had an adverse reaction to a shot), I actually called to discuss my concern, and Dr. Fowler got right on the line with me!!   How great is that??  A doctor that takes the time to reassure an owner that I should bring Harley back into the office because she was a bit concerned with what I was describing for Harley's reactions.   It is comforting as an owner, (really I am a parent....he's our kid) to know that someone in practice builds rapport, and cares about it enough to honor and keep that relationship in tact!  That's what they do here!  I encourage you to visit.  You'll feel comfortable, and welcomed.  Your pet will be at ease, and not stressed when visiting.  Your concerns and questions will be dealt with respectfully and with compassion.  Truly the whole practice is outstanding and definitely a team with your pet's best interest in mind!! My Mollie is 10 months old. She met Dr. Pearson at 9 weeks after going on an adventure in the yard and having an allergic reaction. Dr. Pearson stayed late that evening to help Mollie and we were so appreciative. Mollie went to see Dr. Pearson and Ashton this week with a stomach bug. She had to stay over night and I was so worried about her. Ashton really put our mind at ease and took really great care of our Mollie during her stay. My Aussie mix started having a really bad case of diarrhea suddenly on a Saturday. After a trip an emergency vet, no response to the attempted treatment, and worsening condition, we ended up here on a Monday morning. After some blood work and an exam they decided to hospitalize her. It took roughly 4 full days of running the gauntlet with tests, IV's, and medication to finally get her better. I was a nervous wreck because it took her so long to recover but Dr. Pearson and Megan were amazing to Peytyn and I both the entire time. They called me 2-3 times a day to keep me informed of her condition, were responsive to my worries, and took the time to explain everything. They spoiled Peytyn so much she was giving Megan kisses goodbye at the car! I am so appreciative of all they did to get my sweet girl up and going again. They even took the time to write a time chart of her meds and explain everything needed for her continued at home care. NOOOOO! I've noticed there are many that like this vet, but I wouldn't take either of my dogs back there if they paid me! I have an old mutt/stray that I've had for over 15 years. Her entire life she has had a pea sized cyst on her rib. I'd had it checked by other vets before and was assured that it was not a problem. So, you can imagine my surprise when I picked her up from a grooming appointment and noticed a tennis ball size lump on her side. I called them back immediately and they told me that they had aspirated it to check it out and I was assured that the lump would go back down to normal. Two REALLY big problems with this:1. I was never even asked if I wanted them to do the procedure. She wasn't even there for a medical appointment!!! She was there to get a bath!!!! When I took her back a day later for them to check it, no one apologized and, to even greater amazement, they wanted to aspirate it again!! Another kicker.... I had to pay for it! When I told them I wasn't going to pay, they refused to take it off the bill because the procedure had already been done whether I had wanted it or not.2. The thing that pisses me off the most is that this was FIVE years ago and she still has a tennis ball on her rib! Read Less

I have been taking my German shepherd to County line veterinary Clinic.  The staff is very nice and my pet has been very well taken care of while there. My dog has had all of her shots there, been spayed, and Microchipped.They are affordable vet care that I would recommend to anyone. Read Less

Dr. Fowler is great with cats and dogs. I recently took my cat there for his yearly appointment and vaccines and I was surprised to find that they added a cat waiting room! How great is that?! If the waiting room is full of dogs the cats in carriers can get pretty freaked out, so they have a separate room that is quiet.  The office is busy but we were seen on time and checked out quickly. She has provided lots of care for my animals and I have great experiences every time. Read Less

I love coming here with my dog Lynette. They make you feel like you are the most important person in the office and your pet is first. They all remember every pet by name and ask how everything is going. Some times the wait can be a little long, but it is all worth it.
