This review is from experience of years ago (about 20, actually.) At the time, my late husband and I lived in Pampa, and Carol and Joe saw us through several Standard Poodles, a Robin, and a few scary situations.
About that robin....here's something on what Dr. Carol did when we discovered a baby robin which had apparnetly fallen out of the next on Memorial Day. (How do you find a vet on a holiday wekend?!?) But the end result was so positive: Carol hand-wrote a 2-page letter of directions on how best to help a wild bird survive, thrive and fly away. And that's exactly what happened. It would take about 6 weeks, Carol estimated, for the young bird to leave. That's what the bird did. We often thought, later, that the robin hung around, because there was one who was quite friendly and not at all afraid. And, FYI, just today I found those two pages of instructions on raising a wild bird. I'm sending them to the Carson County Vet office tomorrow. They should keep this information for future use.
