And he definitely had a rude tone when he was telling is we shouldn't breed my dog because of his eye problem. I understand it. Im not going to breed him. But he could've said it without a loud tone. Best vet. They have taken care of all my dogs and cats over the past 15 years. We can call and usually come right over. They are kind and compassionate. I had to have one pet put down and they were honestly as sad as I was. One of my cats is a mean kitty and they work with us. Ignored the price running reviews because I needed my new puppy seen right away because she was limping. I called and was told the exam fee was $35. The doctor came in and started rattling off possible issues that should be checked from ear mites to skin scrapping for mange. My head was spinning and of course worried. She had us look at the ear mites under the microscope which was gross & shocking. Then they came in with a cost sheet for checking and treating issues and of course it was outrageous. $50 for the $35 exam, $20 for the ear mites, $25 to scrape for mange, $25 to treat the mites, $20 for a pain medicine for the possible leg sprain we originally came in for. The cost yo treat the mange was unknown at this time. So, the $35 exam would be $140. I paid $35 for the exam and $20 for the mites (didn't include treatment). I told them they have the worst reviews of all vets in the Pflugerville area because of what I just experienced and I would not be coming back. Read Less

I LOVE THIS VET!! I have horses, dogs, cats, rabbits & chickens soooo, when I say I've seen a vet or two in my day, I'm not joking!! Dr. G and his Team are AWESOME! I called for prices and an appointment time. Told them my 10 week old puppy needed to get her second round of vaccinations. They told me what they thought she needed and that it would be around $60, but they would call her previous vet to find out what all had already been done to her. Got to the appointment and they said they got the previous records. After everything was said and done, they had done an earmite exam, cleaned and sent meds and did a fecal exam, both of which had already been done 6 days prior at the previous vet. Both of these unnecessary things cost an additional $95. I had no idea until I called the previous vet when I got home. When I called to complain they made excuses and when I told them I would never be back, their response was "Have a nice day" They appear to be driven by money first, then your pet.....BEWARE! One of my pets has been having multiple health issues and I initially brought her to the pflugerville animal hospital for treatment. The vet said to return in 2 weeks to see if she has had any improvements. I check online to make sure I get there first thing and the site says they open up at 7am. I get to the vet promptly at 7 and the man at the desk informs me the vet won't even be here till 930. When I asked why it would be so long he asked me if I knew how far away he lived?? All I can say is if you don't intend on doing business at an animal hospital until 930 you probably shouldn't have it posted on the door and website that the vet will be there by 7am. Read Less

Once again they have gone out of their way to make sure our pets are given the best care possible. They are very friendly and caring, even going so far as to check up on our recently sick dog on an almost daily basis to ensure she is getting everything she needs. They've made customers for life and I will always be grateful for how they've cared for our dogs as well as the delicate way they handled euthanization of our long-time friend in 2015. reading through the other reviews about Dr Vijay Gudipally I am highly surprised by the amount of people who are stating he is ALL about the money! Here's my situation... Last Saturday at 12pm I came home from work to find my house covered in blood, I mean COVERED, looked like a murder scene. I even had blood splatter on my ceiling. After a little bit of investigating, I came to realize it was coming from my dogs rectum. I panicked of course and called both of my personal vets. One was closed and out of town and the other had left for the day... I proceeded to call every vet in Georgetown, Round Rock and Cedar Park... I was getting no where. Every vets office I called referred me to Heart of Texas Emergency Care, and I'm sorry, but that will NEVER happen. Taking one last chance out of desperation I tried Plugerville Animal Hospital which was minutes from closing. After listening to my situation they asked how long it would take me to get to their office, when I said roughly 15 minutes, she told me to go ahead and be on my way (meaning they were staying just to treat my dog past when they closed). My dog was very scared being in the office but Dr Vijay Gudipally did everything he could to make her more comfortable and not upset her. He looked at the sample I had brought in as well as the photos I took. He gave me a variety of medications and advised it was a bacterial infection. I was perplexed that he didn't take any labs or anything and he said that he was sure this was what it was... and in his exact words "I can run your bill up and charge you nonsense fees or you can try the medication and trust that this is a bacterial infection. But I assure you, the labs will tell you I am right." I went with my gut to trust him. After 24 hours of the medication, she stopped pooping and her apatite came back! Within 48 hours you would have never even thought anything was wrong with her, she was 100% back with hard poop. There isn't enough I could say about the help he provided, doesn't seem like much to the average person I am sure, but I would almost put my life on the fact that had I gone to the Emergency vet, I would have paid 10 times what I paid PAH and put my dog through unnecessary treatment and anguish. Monday rolled around and they sent an email thanking us for letting them treat her as well as checking up on her. This is a 10 star clinic. I HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone! Read Less

Dr.Guadipally and his staff have always been fantastic to all 3 of my animals. Nothing is too much trouble and staff always great me and the dogs with such a warm welcome. In fact, my Chocolate Lab even pulls me toward the entrance and walks straight to the back of the surgery to his favourite place to sit until they are ready to see him. My granddaughter's elderly rabbit had head tilt. After making a few phone calls we decided to take bunny (Sophie) to Pflugerville Animal Hospital. They appeared to be more familiar with the condition than some other places we called where we had to explain what we meant by head tilt. The doctor was very gentle when he examined Sophie. It was neurological ( no balance, darting eyes). He informed me of what I already suspected, she was suffering, we needed to say good-bye. "HEY LADY, YOU NEED TO PAY YOUR BILL!!" Dr. Vijay Gudipally's last words to me. ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS MONEY!! I went there to make an informed decision about putting my dog down. She doesn't eat for days at a time, drinks water non-stop, lost her eye-sight and hearing, lost 1/4 her weight, has lost almost all functionality of her back legs and is hunched over! All of which they were informed of and Dr Vijay Gudipally walked in and started talking about blood-work, Xray's, medications and (hold on to your seat) a teeth cleaning!! Are you serious??? Wouldn't you have to put my 15 YO dog under for that? Through my tears I began to tell Dr Vijay Gudipally that this was a mistake! I got up to leave and the one thing he said was "Hey Lady, You need to PAY YOUR BILL!!!" Not please comeback and let me finish my exam or please comeback so we can talk about your dogs well being... NO! Dr. Vijay Guipally's final words to me were "Hey Lady, You need to PAY YOUR BILL!!!" I put my dog in the car, went back in and PAID MY BILL. Enjoy that 50.50 you SOB! I have been taking my ShihTzu to Dr G ever since j moved to Pflugerville and now my rescued a Boxer has the privilege of see the wonderful staff. Bruised has a hug for everyone of his staff. Went here to have my dog put down. She was very sick and had been bleeding a lot. It was a very sad moment for me and when I got there was greeted by Charles Kennedy, who seemed disgusted by my dog. He didn't even want to touch her I had to do everything, you call that "five years of experience" . Once the Vet came in he was very cold and couldn't even find the vein to inject my dog with euthanasia. Once it was all over he had his unlicenced staff come put my dog in a bag, but they couldn't even do that for me I had to put her in the bag myself. There was only one licenced staff member who was compationate enough to come help and comfort me for my difficult time. Other then that it was a horrible expirence, and I was over-charged for a "thorough exam" that Kennedy claimed to have done when really all he did was shine a flashlight at my dog's eyes, and take her weight. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone, and agree with other reviews. This vet clearly is only in this for the money. Read Less
