Disappointed. When I took my cat for physical exam I was told I’m welcomed to bring my cat back at any time for trimming her claw and bathing her. I called today to confirm with the front desk since my cat needs both done. The front desk told me they don’t do cat bathing and I’ll need to wait until next week to have her claw trimmed(seriously?). If you don’t want to do it then don’t promise it in the first place. I wanted to stick with this vet despite the high cost they charge, since I thought their service was good and trustworthy. Now I don’t think so anymore and I will never go back again. Read Less

Like previously stated they aren't the cheapest but you get what you pay for when it comes to vets. Staff is always super friendly. Visits with the doctor aren't 5 minutes in and out. They spend a good amount of time with their clients, even if it's just for a checkup. I've never had a problem picking up the phone and asking their advice on a couple occasions. If the vet tech doesn't know the answer, they'll have the vet call you back. Read Less

Being a dog owner over 40 years I can say I've never experienced a more caring and professional veterinary service. Think Mayo Clinic for pets. They are the most advanced and through team I've ever seen.Their feelings for your pet are so..o obvious!! . Jennifer is a special bonus as a trainer and adviser. The entire team at Arbor Hills is just outstanding!  Our small poodle hurt her shoulder and was limping pretty badly.   Upon arrival, Tawnya at the front desk got us in to a room quickly, Aurora, one of the best Vet Technicians we have ever met looked at her, took our information, and held our poodle until Dr Murphy came in.  He examined her, accurately diagnosed and treated her.  They gave us explicit instructions on how to care for her.  They told us what to expect regarding her recovery and they were spot on!  We just went in for our recheck and our poodle is walking normally and has her sassy attitude back!  This entire team is one of the best we have ever encountered.  They love animals and it shows in their professionalism, knowledge, and treatment.  They also understand what they mean to us owners!  We have gone to Dr Murphy and his team for 10+ years.  Several years ago our Jack Russell hurt her back.  Dr Murphy referred us to DVSC for surgery.  Following the surgery we needed to go out of town on business and they took special care of her when we boarded her.  What great peace of mind that was to us!!!  Today that dog is in physically great condition thanks to the care she received at Arbor.  We recently moved far away from where they are located.  We tried another Vet closer to our new home, but they just don't compare to the quality or compassionate care the team at Arbor delivers. Best vet ever! They have guided us through sickness and health with our four pets. They really take the time to know your pets, and their follow through is awesome. We have a "difficult" dog, but you would never know it when he's with Aurora and Jennifer. Our cat recently died. Everyone in the office made a very difficult time easier with their understanding, guidance, expertise -- and of course heartfelt hugs. Reviewing based on phone experience. $646 - $700 to spay a female cat. Holy cow. On the same call she also asked if my cat needed any other vaccinations and finally she suggested declawing. When I said no to declawing, she brought up that she suggests getting the cat declawed at a young age if I am on the fence. Then after I said no again, she mentioned soft paws and scratching posts. (I imagine they must sell these items?) The call ended with her stating that their facility is very cat friendly. With all due respect, I've never heard of someone who is cat friendly advocating for declawing a cat. Have you? Read Less

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Murphy and his staff. My cat had been missing for 10 days, I finally found her, banged up, exhausted and overheated.  I took her to see Dr. Murphy immediately.  Everyone at the Centre was so attentive and awesome.  I knew my kitty was being taken care of and felt so at ease.  My cat was checked, groomed, and patched up with love and tenderness.  It is obvious that the staff and Dr. Murphy really care about their patients!I definitely recommend Arbor Hills Vet Centre! Let me first start with Dr Murphey is the best. I have two Siberian Huskies and he has exceeded all expectations for a veterinarian. I experimented with another vet prior to meeting him and there is no doubt that I one hundred percent recommend him to anyone.... Me and my cat Kermit had a great experience here. We had to make a last minute trip to take care of a worm situation and even though I didn't call ahead (bad Andi!!) they still were able to squeeze us in right away. The staff was very kind and quite complementary about my handsome cat and got him back on track in no time. They made us feel right at home and I am very happy to have a vet that I feel that I can trust. I am hoping to not need them all that much throughout Kermit's life but I am glad that they are there. I HIGHLY recommend Arbor Hills Pet Care. When I lived in Plano I took both of my dogs, Oakley & Ollie, to see them. All of the vets and pet care team there are absolutely fantastic. They take GREAT care of your furry kids. Ollie even had leg surgery there and they were fantastic. I have nothing but great things to say about them. I brought my dog here because they do laser surgery, and it's been such a great experience! The staff has been so unbelievably friendly! I'm a psycho about my dog and they have been so sweet. They even sent me a picture of her before they left so I know that she was ok. I've only met one of the drs, and I was very pleased with him. New patient visit today with my 7 yr. old dog. Upon walking in I was sent straight to a private room (w/ a tv & a little dog bed mat). I had to wait about 15 mins and the tech came in to take him for weight etc. The dr came next and spent about 30+ w/ us. She was ver nice and explained things I had not understood from my previous vet.  She spent about 10 minutes just showing my her style of ear cleaning. My dog was so relaxed that he way laying on the bed by the end of the visit! I was really taken aback by the courtesy and friendliness of the receptionist, support staff and doctor!They are a little more expensive than the average office but in this case, you get what you pay for.
