Caring, gentle and knowledgeable- we needed emergency care on a Saturday and they were only vet in area open. We were a walk in and they were busy- one hour until they closed. But they kept working through the clients - taking whatever time it took per case and our visit with the doctor was thorough and very reasonable. He took care of our immediate concerns and made sure our dog was comfortable and on a good path to recovery. The price was more than reasonable. We trust this facility and now we will use them for all of our pet needs- moving from a high priced clinic in Kingwood to this modest gem of a clinic. I was able to walk in with my very achey old dog and be seen within 15 minutes despite my dog being a new patient. Andy Otto was our vet and he did a wonderful job evaluating and explaining everything. On top of that, he opted for more conservative treatment and kept me and my husband in the loop at all times so we had a say in what treatment and diagnostics she recieved. After all was said and done, my dog got the treatment she needed and the prices were great! I would highly recommend this wonderful practice to anyone whether it be an emergency (like my visit!) or a routine exam. The staff was fantastic as well! Read Less

Unfortunately, I have had to take my little Corgi in several times for normal and emergency care. The staff is great. Very welcoming and helpful and they are great with the animals. They have always been quick to act and diagnose the condition and treatment plans are executed quickly and in my opinion are quite reasonably priced. They really care about the animals. I have a rescue dog whom was abused. I took home numerous places for grooming and they would either not want to deal with him or state he had to be sedated. Vital pet recommend their groomer and I have to say best thing I have ever done. He loves their groomer. He use to buck like a horse. He is a 115lb lab mix that is huge and hard to handle. This happened a little while back, but I haven't been back due to this incident. I had called at 4pm because I came home to my dog having vomiting and diarrhea. They said they had an open appointment at 4:30pm and I told them I'd take it. I was put on hold. While on hold, I loaded my dog up and headed there. As I was pulling into the parking lot at 4:25pm, they finally came back on the line (I stayed on hold the whole time) and told me they wouldn't see my dog. They gave the appointment to someone else while I was on hold. I told them I was already in the parking lot and was worried about a possible bowel obstruction and wanted to see if they could at least examine her. They reluctantly agreed. They did X-rays and told me she did have a bowel obstruction and needed Emergency surgery. It was about 4:45pm at this time. It was a Friday and they closed at 6pm and said the surgery would take almost an hour and dr. Otto had dinner plans he didn't want to risk being late for. The surgery with them would've been $300. I had to then drive to the emergency clinic and hold my dog crying and hoping she wouldn't die while I waited an hour for the emergency vet to open. The emergency vet took her in along with dr. Otto's notes and performed emergency surgery that cost nearly $3000 and found no bowel obstruction. My dog now has an incisional hernia from that surgery that requires a new surgery to repair. After the fact, I found out that the "fabric" dr. Otto saw in her bowels causing an obstruction isn't visible on the X-ray and never would have been even if there had been fabric in there. I don't know if they also own the emergency vet, but if they do, there is a clear conflict of interest.Read Less

We just went to the Clinic to get the Rabies Vac for $10.00. It went very fast. Lots of dogs showed up. I am a long time customer, the wait times are horrible. Appt at 2, be lucky if you see Dr. By 4. Way to long to have your baby to have to wait. Read Less

Unless you have deep pockets to try and help your Animal get better you aren't going to get help. My newborn kitten was sick and needed a antibiotic. He got .2 cc and I was charged 26 dollars. The whole bottle doesn't cost that if you bought it for Livestock. My dog went in and for a Blood panel, saline, and antibiotics it was 324 dollars. They expressed her anal glands and after spending that much money you think they might do something for free but nope they tacked it on as well for the most expensive anal gland expression I have ever paid for. I find it disappointing vets don't want to help anymore it's all about squeezing out the next dollar. I got a quote for fixing my female dog and it was more than double than the most expensive quote I had gotten from any other vets office. Read Less

I took my dog Gunner to this facility for the first time. He is a black lab and he loved it. The ladies at the front desk recognize / acknowledge us, as we walked through the font door said they will be right with us. I loved that. As I looked around, I notice how organized and clean the facility was. This was a plus to us. Our experience was fantastic. They loved all over mr. Gunner . They vetinariens were very friendly. I have 4 pups and every single one of them has gone through this office. They are patient, understanding and treat my pups as if they were theirs. As expected every single one of my pups have different temperaments but they do their best to make them feel at ease. Twice I had to come in without making an appointment and so it been my choice I understood (by common sense) I needed to wait a little longer but still was treated with respect by techs and the Vet. I noticed someone leaving a review that they were discriminated for being Hispanic but I am Hispanic and I have never felt discriminated in the last two years I have been here. They do get busy on Saturdays (should give you a hint as to why) so if you go in without an appointment expect to wait between 30 minutes to an hour.Read Less

This place is hit or miss. I've gone in with my dogs and gotten great service, and other times it's horrible. Unfortunately, as of this week, more horrible, and I will not return. I do like the vets and techs, but the receptionists were totally rude to everyone they were helping this weekend. They had no patience for anyone, no compassion for the animals. If you don't like animals, you shouldn't be in this line of work. And talk about gouging. They knit-pick about this, that, and the other, and before you leave - your bill is 85% MORE than expected. And how can you lose records, when services where rendered at your location. How can your system not jive with all the bills I've paid. The receptionists are why I'm taking my business elsewhere. I've never been to a vet that treats my pet with such love and care. My overall experience was fantastic from the moment I walked in the door! The receptionist took care of me very quickly and got me checked in and I waited no more than 10 minutes for the technician to come and get me into a room! The Dr. was AWESOME and new exactly what medicines to give my pet and now he is doing much, much better! The staff as a whole is flawless. Everything was done quickly and with a smile! Wish i could give less then a star! This place is horrible all they care about is money. I tried to take my sick puppy there and they chalked me up with all these meds that never helped that i HAD to pay for! And she just kept getting worse so i come back next day to have them put her down and out of missery. They couldnt find the Vet come to find out he is out and will be back "later" no one could call him or do anything! The vet techs they have their are dumb as hell cant find a vein or anything. So while we "have" to sit here at wait for the vet. my puppy layin on that table starts breathing strangly... And she just died right there on the table she suffered till the end because of these incompetent morons! And they still made me pay for everything even the visit she died in THEIR care!
