Never have I ever had such a horrible experience. First off the customer service was horrible. As an animal lover and a pet owner it broke my heart to have such horrible service. I arrived for an appt...
Never have I ever had such a horrible experience. First off the customer service was horrible. As an animal lover and a pet owner it broke my heart to have such horrible service. I arrived for an appt at 430 and was not taken back until 515. The manner in which the employees handled my two dogs having an accident was not at all professional and it was as if they were afraid to handle my dogs. There was faces made and disrespectful talk in the back. I heard the disrespectful comments because they left the door open the entire visit. There was no one on one time with the doctor other than him administering the vaccines. There was no extent discussion regarding my pets health just a "get it done" type of attitude. I paid almost two hundred dollars at the end of this visit and was told two different prices from in the exam room of the services. Also the attitude at the check out station from some older man was horrible and gave me attitude when I asked to see a break down of my bill. I literally left in tears from the frustration I could not believe these people gave to me and my dogs. As a animal lover and pet owner I will never bring my pets back here and I highly discourage anyone who cares so much for their pets to avoid this horrible establishment. I would rate this a 0 if that was option.

All the employees were so sweet and caring when treating our pet as we went in on an emergency situation, he had to stay overnight, they called with an update on his status last night and again this morning, very calming for the owners that have to leave their pets in a hospital

We've been pulling dogs from the Weslaco animal control holding facility to try to save them before they get put to sleep. Got 6 more of them out this Saturday and Sunday. Got a same-day appointment...
We've been pulling dogs from the Weslaco animal control holding facility to try to save them before they get put to sleep. Got 6 more of them out this Saturday and Sunday. Got a same-day appointment (on a Sunday) at Border Animal Hospital to have them all checked out and all have been placed into foster homes while their little bodies and souls heal from their ordeals. I'd like to thank the staff once again for providing excellent care...with compassion. Thank you!!!

Our family pup, Buddy,was diagnosed with lymphoma in January 2016. He finally lost his battle with the disease September 30th. I just want to thank the staff for everything they did for our Buddy. Week after week we went in for his treatment and the staff was amazing with him. Dr. Edelstein has been amazing and understanding through the whole process. He researched and consulted with doctors in San Antonio to make sure he provided us with the best options for Buddy. We were able to have an additional nine wonderful months because of the medical treatment provided by your staff. Thank you.

We have used this animal hospital for the 6 years we've been in the RGV. We love the technicians and the doctors we've been associated with. Chloe is very comfortable with all the staff at the hospital. If I was to make one criticism of the staff it would be of the front desk ladies they are rude most of the time.

I made a visit here today with my baby Louie. Everyone was so kind, helpful and understanding. Dr. Edelstein was extremely knowledgeable and amazing with my puppy. I am so thankful for this place. This really is the best vet in the valley. I will be bringing all my furr babies here from now on because the service is perfect. Thank y'all for all your hard work!
