Not your state of the art modern vet office, and I'm ok with that. Less about aesthetics and more about the pets. It's a traditional small office, and I've been coming here for years. I did the new fancy vets before moving here and ended up paying extra for the facility and environment than the service. Plus, they kept trying to sell me an extra product or an extra service "just to rule out" or "to be sure", making you feel like the worst owner if you don't opt in. Here at RVC, I believe Dr. Carpenter and Heymann have been here for a long time - they are very nice, attentive, responsive and very straightforward. They get it. The office hours are standard, however I will say the doctor hours are limited between 9 am and 2 PM during the week (one drawback) and on Saturday mornings. It is worth working around if you can. The vet assistants and reception ladies are excellent. Read Less

I've been going to the Richardson Vet Clinic a very long time. Started with Dr. Brantley and now Dr. Heyman. Excellent staff.

They charged me $23 to trim my dogs nails. Hummmm my fault should have asked first because we had our dogs spayed there and it was over $400 each and huge incisions. Close to home though.

They have always taken excellent care of our dog both on visits and when we have boarded her. They also aren't in a hurry to push procedures when simple lifestyle changes can fix issues.

Dr Ann Heymann is a very kind loving Vet. My dog Leo started going there near the end as we moved north to Richardson. I only wish I had found them sooner. Leo passed away recently and Dr. Heymann gave a donation in his name to the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M. We didn't go there long but never had to wait when we did and Leo was comfortable and I felt confident they were giving him the care he needed witout going overboard and suggesting procedures/medicine that wouldn't be necessary for a dog his age. I'm glad we found Richardson Veterinary Clinic and I will be returning when we get another dog in the future. Read Less
