The vets at this place are great however we will never be using them again. They ruined are anniversary and vacation for this coming July by us trusting that we could board there. I have 2 dogs and like to take them at separate times because they can be a little rowdy together. After one of my dogs exams and shots I ask about the flu vaccine since, it is required to board, the latest I can bring my other dog in. The vet tech told me 3 weeks before and when I come in to board them they will give the booster than since they need both. I called today and to ask if I could swing by to get my dog the shots. The lady I spoke to(Lauren or laurel) proceeded to tell me that I can't board them there because I missed the vaccine window. She said they needed at least a full 6 weeks. She was extremely rude and said that was there policy and nothing they would do about it. So now me and my husband are going to have find a new boarding place a month we're suppose to leave or not be able to go on our vacation to celebrate our anniversary. I will never use them again because of this, they showed no remorse for possible ruining our vacation. If there this unorganized about the vaccine schedule then I am definitely not trusting them to take care of my fur babies. Read Less

This place is beautiful! And I'm not just talking about the exterior & interior - the staff here are beautiful! They are so kind and accommodating. After a series of unpleasant experiences at another Richmond vet, I knew I'd need to find a new place for my German Shepherd puppy (he's 7 months & 84 lbs!). I took him in for symptoms of an ear infection. Stephanie was great! She was very thorough explaining to me the symptoms, causes, treatments etc. She treated my puppy like he was one of the family. The doctor was equally as wonderful! At one point, I had to show her some rashes under my puppy's front legs, and we ended up all sitting on the floor together to make him comfortable. Plus, he was really unsure about her, but she took her time coaxing him to warm up to her - a few treats helped too :) They gave me treatments for his allergies, ear infection, plus some updated recommendations about flea/heartworm prevention. Stephanie and the doctor took their time going over things with me, which I appreciate..NOT once did I feel rushed or unsure of what to expect when I left. Taking my two year old boxer to the vet is never an experience I look forward to due to the terrible must uncomfortable experience we had at Rosenberg Vet. However today I took her to Rose-Rich Vet Clinic for the first time and it was the best vet experience we've ever had. Starting with the friendly girls in the lobby who were very helpful and answered all the questions I had. Then the vet and vet tech were outstanding! They had the experience to calm my hyper boxer down to give her her shots and her check up! They never once made me feel uncomfortable for how scared my dog was of getting shots! I took Dallas to be groomed by Lauren at Rose-Rich Veterinary Clinic recently. Before I started going to Rose-RIch, I had a different cat that I took to a pet store chain to be groomed. When it came time to take my previous cat in, as soon as he saw his carrier, he ran and hid. When I caught him, he started meowing and hissing so loud that I thought the neighbors were going to call the SPCA, and he clawed at his carrier when I tried to put him inside. In the picture, you can see what Dallas does when he sees his carrier. I don't know what Lauren is doing to him, but I think Dallas would drive himself to Rose-Rich if he could. The only concern I have about taking Dallas to Lauren is that I'm afraid he's not going to want to come home from all the pampering he gets at Rose-Rich. Rose Rich is an excellent full service veterinary clinic. My doge run in eagerly as soon as we arrive there. The care they get at Rose-Rich is as good or better than they would get anywhere else. All members of the staff are courteous, friendly, helpful and professional. On several occasions, they have called when my dogs were boarded there to inform me that they have observed problems my dogs were having. On at least one occasion, there attentiveness saved my dog's life. Their boarding, grooming and health care are superior to any other place I know of. Rose-Rich veterinary clinic is the only place I trust to care for my babies. I was referred by a friend over 10 years ago and since then I have referred multiple friends who take their furry loved ones there because they know their pets will receive the best care possible. Because I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, I visit them often for annual check ups, etc. The staff is excellent and they clearly show a love for all the furry patients that come in.  I never had a preference for a particular veterinarian because I love them all. Dr. Robinson, Dr. Ginestra, Dr. Sackman and Dr. Moore have all taken tremendous care of my babies and will always take the time to listen to any of my concerns and answer all of my questions. We've taken our cats here multiple times, and have always received extremely great service! They have the most pet friendly procedures (this was the first time we got a cat neutered who didn't come back acting "strange".) They even offer cat x rays and dental cleaning. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The building's decor and atmosphere are very warm and welcoming, with murals of birds and the sky on the ceiling. I was referreled  here by several friends. First let me say I have a classic american bully ( I get it not all people like them or have fear.) My first visit was okay did not care for the doctor or the tech at all. They pretty much tried to man handle my baby. He's been through obedience school and is WELL behaved. Once I stated that I can hold him you just have to let me know what you need the appointment went smooth. The second time we went back on a Friday afternoon called a head and asked for a vet that was okay with bully breed dogs. Dr.Moore was amazing with my dog, I highly recommend her. Even my dog was way more relaxed with her letting her roll him over to check his tummy (he's shy.) The tech Mary was amazing as well she let me go with her to take him to weighted. We had to have our baby put to sleep. The staff was so sweet to us and our pup. They loved on her and even made her a last meal to enjoy...toaster strudel, steak, and chinese take out. For All my friends living near / around, Richmond/Rosenberg/Sugarland area. Monday night I had to take my sweet Shelby to the Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists. They charged 750.00 just to walk in the door. And refused to let me see her until I had paid in full. Then they told me, that to keep her over night they would charge an additional 990.00. I elected to not keep her there and asked for antibiotics, pain meds, and to clean and dress her wounds, which they charged me another 130.00 dollars. The vet had no compassion, and did not discuss options. I found out later that the Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists is Corporate owned and is all about the money. They really don't care about your fur baby, they just want the $$$. They have terrible reviews on the internet with lots of heart breaking stories of owners losing their beloved animals because of this place. If you find yourself needing an emergency vet, drive past Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists it is not the place you want to go to.On a good note. After taking Shelby home and watching her suffer in agonizing pain, I had come to the realization that I was going to have to put her down. I took her to Rose-Rich vets Wednesday morning ready to say my goodbyes. But then a very kind and very capable veterinarian (Dr. Sackman) walked in the exam room, gave me a big hug and said, this is fixable we can save her. When I explained how much money I had already been charged she said, let me work up an estimate and if we need to, we can work out payments. For three days in ICU all medications and care the total cost was 538.95. AND my Shelby is on the mend and will live a long full life. Since I have so many friends that are fur baby lovers,  I thought I would share my story with you. If you decide to take your pets to Rose-Rich Vets please tell them Shelby sent you. This was our first visit to the clinic and it was highly recommended by a friend. Our appointment started right on schedule. The front desk staff were awesome. The vet seemed extremely knowledgeable and obviously cared for animals. Our dog (older) remained very calm and the staff were very friendly and caring. I love this place and when trying to be lazy and visit a vet closer to my area i gave in because no one can beat the service and care given here. It shows they truly love what they do,  the previous vet advused me that i had nothing to worry about when my dog began loosing patches of hair saying they were no concern...after several days i switched and walked in on a Saturday  (no appt needed) and in 2 hours they tests and diagnosed my dog and had a script filled and a week later my dog is almost back to normal. I'm so disappointed with Ross-Rich. I want to board my dog to Pet Stop but they said Ross Rich told them that my dog was aggressive so they are not able to accept him. I'm upset that Ross Rich did not even inform me how my dog behaves when he was there, never said anything or even advise at least what we need to do! I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. My fur baby was attacked by our neighbors dogs. Our normal vet is over an hour away from our house. I had previously read great reviews and honestly didn't want to take her anywhere else. They were booked solid but still accommodated us. Their office was busy all day but the wonderful staff immediately addressed everyone that entered and I don't recall seeing anyone really waiting. The doctor took me back to see where she will be for observation which made me oh so comfortable in their care. Amazing people. This will definitely be our vet from here on out. We have used the Rose-Rich Vet Clinic for several years now and have found all the doctors very experienced and very consumer and pet friendly. Our older dog had to be "put down" as it was time and the doctor and staff could not have been more understanding and loving. One of our dogs had a severe medical condition and the care she received was exceptional. Our three dogs love going there and don't show any fear or other negative reactions. The staff are very nice and very helpful. Couldn't be happier with our experiences there but more, the comfort and relaxation our dogs show while being examined by the doctors and with the staff. We just moved to Rosenberg about 6 months ago so I've only been to the clinic twice for our dogs, but everyone there is very friendly. The vet comes across as very caring & was really good with our puppy who was scared being there. She took her time letting our puppy get to know her before she started looking in her ears, mouth, etc. And I love the building! It's decorated in such a cool way on the inside! I thought the prices would be higher than usual because of the way the decor looks but it's the opposite. They're cheaper than the vet we were using before & he was reasonable. Read Less

I needed to have 2 of my dogs teeth removed. My previous vet told me he didn't think he could extract the tooth and recommended me to a vet dental specialist....the quote I got was 1800-2100!!!!!!! Crazy. I was recommended Rose-rich vet and I have to say that I am VERY pleased! The prices are very reasonable. I paid 400 for 2 teeth to be extracted with a teeth cleaning!! The exam fee was around 25 bucks! They called me throughout her procedure to let me know how she was doing! They also bathed and clipped her nails while she was there without charging me (or me having to ask!). They gave me a writen prescription for her meds with a coupon to take to randals pharmacy, instead of buying the meds from them (which would have been more expensive). Most reasonable priced vets that I have been too have a very small office without any updates. This office is large, nice and clean! We foster kittens and were recommended to this vet after our last vet killed our cat by giving her medicine that caused a heart attack.EVERY doctor here, EVERY vet tech here, EVERY receptionist is loving, sweet, compassionate, and caring.With foster kittens, we are in at least twice a week for URIs/infections/illnesses/etc.The receptionists always find us appointments, the nurses escort us in rooms immediately, and they all play with and love on our animals until the doctors can see us.They never prescribe us things we don't need and are very cost effective. This is the best vet ever! I love this place it is so nice and so clean and everyone here is so professional it is just amazing. Also all the vets I have seen have been great they know what they are doing and they do not do anything that is not needed just to get more money out of us. Took my sons cat to get groomed .  Got there at 7 in the morning because they were going to have to sedate .... So I get a call 2 hrs later saying that the 2 doctors on staff had an emergency ..... Ok I can live with that.  So after my sons cat being in a tiny crate for let's say about 7 1/2 hrs they call and say well we tried to sedate but she's a wild cat and can't do it.  What ?  When we got there the poor animal had peed all over herself deficated inside cage and that's how we got her back .  Traumatized and needless to say the most uncaring staff ever!  We've used Rose Rich for a very long time .... I will never ever. Go to this facility ever again .  One excuse after another .... Dr Robinson is inhumane toward animals and dr Moore is no better .  They dropped the ball .... I have three large dogs and have been taking them to Rose Rich for about three years. Recently one of my dogs developed a lump on her leg and I took her in on a Saturday morning to have a vet take a look at it. The vet diagnosed her with cancer and gave me a few options, one which included surgical removal of the tumor for about $1,300 followed by radiation and/or chemotherapy which could cost upwards of $3,000 more.  Being that my dog is 11 years old I did not want to put her through all of that and the doctor agreed. She sold me some pain meds to keep her comfortable in case she appears to be in pain. A couple of months pass and my dog is still doing rather well other than being constipated which from the location of the tumor I thought that the tumor could be causing the constipation. I took off of work early and arrived at the vet clinic at 4:30 without an appointment to be advised by the girl behind the counter that all of the vets are booked for the day, but the emergency vet in Sugar Land is open and takes emergency cases. I advised her that I have been a customer for quite some time and asked if they may be able to squeeze me in. She informed me that she may be able to but I would have to pay an "emergency fee" of $30 extra and it may be more since it is so late and they were already booked. I called the vet that I used to see in Needville (quit going there because of the long drive) and he said that they were open until 6:00 to come on down.  After making the drive down to Needville I was advised by the doc that my dog just needed a little stool softener and that he could remove the tumor on her leg for about $300.During my three years of using Rose Rich Vet Clinic I found most of the vets and vet techs to be quite friendly and helpful, however I always had bad experiences with the desk staff. The bad experiences ranged from bad attitudes/ rudeness to them forgetting to charge me $10 on a $300 bill and calling me to ask if they could add that to my credit card.I would not recommend this place to anyone.........
