Dr. Thomas and his entire staff are so helpful. They understand animals and how the owners feel and are compassionate. They have spayed and neutered my cats, treated them for ringworm, flatworms, mange, fur-loss and even gas. I feel very comfortable taking my cats to this clinic.

They treat us very rude. I have been taking my dog with heart worms to this vet for years and there has not been one visit where they talked to me politely. AND They tested my dog for heart worms 6 mo...
They treat us very rude. I have been taking my dog with heart worms to this vet for years and there has not been one visit where they talked to me politely. AND They tested my dog for heart worms 6 months ago and said the test came back negative, but now they are saying that it was postive and that I refused to put him on medication which is a bunch of bull.

Were here for weekend and both dogs got sick. I called on Saturday morning & they got them in right away. They were so good with both dogs. Very grateful them for quick service.

When we moved to Rockport nine years ago, I had two senior dogs who were 11 and 13 years old. Dr. Thompson took great care of the them, even recognizing very early when one started having renal issue...
When we moved to Rockport nine years ago, I had two senior dogs who were 11 and 13 years old. Dr. Thompson took great care of the them, even recognizing very early when one started having renal issues helping to extend her life by a year. We were lucky enough to have our girls until they were 16 and 17 years old as a result. We now have another couple of sweet girls who weigh in at about 80 pounds each and one has had some bad allergies. Thanks again to Dr. Thompson, these are now under control and we have one happy girl. Only one of our dogs has been nervous going in, but she is a rescue with some anxiety issues. The others are always happy to visit and love the whole team there. One even gives kisses after shots.

Just had the most bizarre experience here. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Went into the room for an exam as a first time customer. The vet and assistant walked into the room, didn't say a word to me. Took my dog from my lap, put him on the table and grabbed his muzzle to start the exam. Shocked me and scared my dog. I've never had a veterinarian not develop a little bit of a repport before examining my dog. Like I said, bizarre. I'll be looking for a different vet.

This was the worst vet experience in my life. I needed an emergency appointment for my dog with a leg injury. This was the first place I called with a same-day appointment. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. But from the moment the vet tech grabbed my dog by the collar as his means to restrain her, I WAS NOT HAPPY. And I could tell my dog was not happy. After the initial diagnosis, the vet and vet tech came back into the room to give my dog an injection. My dog has never reacted so horribly to an injection. I was scared for her safety during the process, which never happened with our previous vet. And my dog had never urinated because of stress/pain/anxiety during a vet visit. And this happened twice during her initial visit. This is a very old school vet clinic. And I personally would not recommend it to anyone unless it's your absolute last choice. As a bright point, the prices are reasonable.

The staff at Companion Animal Clinic are so loving and caring, towards you and your pet!! I am switching my pet's care to here because of how wonderful my experience with them was. My dog was seriously injured and needed surgery. I am on a very tight budget and did not think I could afford it, however Companion Clinic offered a very convenient plan and seemed much more concerned with my pet's health than their payment. This was not the treatment i was used to getting from my previous vet, if i did not have the payment in full then they would not treat my pet. Companion was much more concerned for my pet's health than money. I am so very grateful to them and so happy with my experience there!!

Dr. Thomas and his entire staff are so helpful. They understand animals and how the owners feel and are compassionate. They have spayed and neutered my cats, treated them for ringworm, flatworms, mange, fur-loss and even gas. I feel very comfortable taking my cats to this clinic.

Dr. Thompson took great care of the them, even recognizing very early when one started having renal issues helping to extend her life by a year. We were lucky enough to have our girls until they were 16 and 17 years old as a result. The staff at Companion Animal Clinic are so loving and caring, towards you and your pet!! I am switching my pet's care to here because of how wonderful my experience with them was. My dog was seriously injured and needed surgery. I am on a very tight budget and did not think I could afford it, however Companion Clinic offered a very convenient plan and seemed much more concerned with my pet's health than their payment.
