Our Mission: To provide high quality medicine, diagnostics, and surgery in
a stress free, clean, and comfortable environment.
Welcome to the Animal Hospital of Fate! We are excited to have you visit
our site and look forward to you joining our family! We have been open since
December 2004, but have been in the area since the year 2000. We have
watched this area grow over time and are excited about the future of Fate.
We hope you are as excited about our future together as we are. We strive
to give your pets the most comfortable environment possible while serving you
and them with the top most care available. We are here to care for your pets!
Medicine: Preventative care is practiced through semi-annual health checks
which include physical examination, vaccinations, and lab tests as needed.
Surgery: When surgery is necessary, we offer in-house blood work,
cytology, and out-lab services. Only the safest anaesthesia is used in our
hospital. Your pet is carefully monitored during the procedure, given pain
medications for comfort, and wakes up in a warm, soft bed.
Dentistry: Maintaining a healthy mouth is essential to the well being of
your
pet, including heart disease. We are fully equipped with ultrasonic scaler,
polishers, and sealants.
Bed and Breakfast: Indoor kennels are available for the safety and
temperature comfort of your pet. Outdoor fenced play areas are available for
'recess' and 'activity time'.
Behavior Counseling: If you and your pet are having a problem, let us
discuss the problem and arrive at a solution agreeable to everyone.
Grooming: With sedation available, bathing and simple grooming can
become a much more pleasant experience for you and your pet.

Dr. Loftis and the whole staff are wonderful to our Golden, Macy. Macy can be a handful, but they treat her lovingly, as if she were theirs. Dr. Loftis is great and so affordable. Highly recommend!

Best and most compassionate staff and doctor I've ever experienced. They were extremely busy with the phone ringing nonstop and appointments walking in. The receptionist was very friendly and worked hard to get everyone helped in a timely manner. She even had staff, who were on lunch break, help her willingly. I was very impressed that all the techs and staff jumped in to help, even though they were on their lunch break. It just shows how much they really care about people's pets. The techs and doctor took time to pet and hug on my dog to put her at ease.

We just took our dog into the vet because our dog was sick, vomiting and runny stools. We met the doctor David Lotis for the first time and never even gave us a handshake. He came in asked questions and left. He insisted on x-rays and the blood test. We decided to do that and pay the money, but at the end of the day, they could not find anything and we had to pay 450 bucks. 450 bucks to let us know that they could not find anything. They just seemed to care about money and that's it. I would give a 1 star, but they seemed to do the tests correctly or so I think. Overall a waste of money.

Scheduled an appointment for ONLY a rabies shot and then they give ALL shots even though our dog just got them 3 weeks ago! Never will go there or refer anyone there because apparently they can't follow 1 simple instruction and then the vet will be rude and unapologetic about their mistake!

These people are WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Every vet in Rowlett through Rockwall was booked up, my own vet wouldn't even make room to see my Lilie Bug, even after calling everyday for 3 days. I called here and even though they didn't have an appointment available and were about to close, they told me to come on and bring Lilie in. They have no idea what a blessing they were to me and my old baby. She came home soooooo happy and feeling soooooooo much better. I can't thank the Doctor or staff enough, there are no words. We are changing vets and all 4 of our babies will be going here from this day forward. They are WELL WORTH THE DRIVE.....

I never thought I'd ever switch vets, I was very devoted to the one my pets saw in the Sachse area, even though the wait times there were very long.
A family member suggested I make an appointment with Dr Loftis for my Yorkie's shots and check up. Apparently Dr Loftis doesn't work on Wednesdays, and we saw a female vet, which worked out even better, since my boy is partial to females. The entire staff was wonderful. My Maxx was very anxious, but the two assistants cuddled him and treated him exactly how I do when he's scared. I was very impressed by everyone I met there. They obviously love animals. We just now got back from his dental cleaning, and I was a nervous wreck knowing he was going to be under anesthesia, but he's doing great, and went from having some seriously funky breath and lots of plaque and tarter, to bright white teeth and absolutely no stink to his breath! The only complaint I have, which isn't much of a complaint, is the prices are definitely higher than what I'm used to. Considering the convenience of the office location and not having to wait, I'd say that the price increase was worth it, and Maxx and I will be coming back to this vets office as long as we are living in Rockwall. Definitely 5 stars!

I have used this Veterinary Office for 2 years now and I an exceptionally pleased with their service. Although the Vet is always very busy I have never had trouble getting an appointment on short notice, especially for unusual situations and self-proclaimed emergencies. The Vet himself is always quite curtious, affable, and professional; even when our animals are not.

Best and most compassionate staff and doctor I've ever experienced. They were extremely busy with the phone ringing nonstop and appointments walking in. The receptionist was very friendly and worked hard to get everyone helped in a timely manner. She even had staff, who were on lunch break, help her willingly. We just took our dog into the vet because our dog was sick, vomiting and runny stools. We met the doctor David Lotis for the first time and never even gave us a handshake. These people are WONDERFUL!!!!!!! Every vet in Rowlett through Rockwall was booked up, my own vet wouldn't even make room to see my Lilie Bug, even after calling everyday for 3 days. I called here and even though they didn't have an appointment available and were about to close, they told me to come on and bring Lilie in. They have no idea what a blessing they were to me and my old baby. She came home soooooo happy and feeling soooooooo much better. I can't thank the Doctor or staff enough, there are no words. A family member suggested I make an appointment with Dr Loftis for my Yorkie's shots and check up.
