I wish I had known about this place sooner. My cat freaked out at his old vet and the guy decided he wasn't going to see us midway through an exam. I was referred to this clinic by someone at a pet ER and I can say that it was one of the best things to happen. My cat always disliked going to the vet, but he was calmer than usual during his initial evaluation. I had to leave him for vaccinations and to be sedated for a complete exam but I was told he was "grouchy" (which is true) but not overly aggressive. The staff were beyond nice and professional and were I not moving out of state this would me my choice for a place to take care of all my cats. (I have 3) You won't be sorry if you use this vet. This was by far the best veterinarian I've ever been to. Dr. Jill genuinely cared for my dog, her staff squeezed him in despite being busy and still took the time to answer all my questions. We got a sad diagnosis but she was very patient, extremely knowledgeable, and positive. If you care about your pet this is the place to go. Very fairly priced and not greedy like other vets. Been going to Dr. Jill for several years now, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. When one of my kitties got into a fight overnight and was in pretty bad shape (limping and running fever - he already has a compromised immune system), they got him right in within an hour or so of opening. We found this clinic a long while ago. My yorkie was vomiting blood, and a couple of Pflugerville places would work us in. I headed down to RR where I remembered an er clinic, well it wasn't there, but Dr Jill was. and thank goodness they took us in immediately. and I have been there every since. Dr Finley I saw recently, and they are all fantastic, and have not 1 single complaint about anything. The entire staff, is compassionate and caring. So glad to have found this clinical. Dr. Finley sees my two cats. The entire staff is very respectful and not "pushy" when recommending treatments. They listen to me and address my concerns. I also appreciate how cost effective the treatments are and that cost is openly discussed. The handling of my cats is gentle and caring. I also appreciate that they board cats. Since mine have now become "senior citizens", I am not comfortable leaving them alone with only someone "checking" on them. The boarding costs are VERY reasonable for the peace of mind. Read Less

Tragic circumstances brought us to the clinic for the first time yesterday. While I wish we had stumbled across this clinic for any other reason I couldn't have been happier with the staff. They squeezed us in at the last possible moment and they held our hands and cried with us and treated our beautiful girl the best possible way in the last moments of her life. I was too consumed with grief to let them know what their services meant to us. From placing tiny little heart stickers on her catheter bandage to bringing her blankets, speaking in sweet tender voices to our dying baby and allowing us as much time as needed to collect ourselves. We love you Dr. Jill. We will be bringing our other pets to you in the future. You've won fans for life and your whole staff was incredible. We have 6 miniature dachshunds that are going and will be going to Dr. Jill. We love her and the staff. They are always helpful and they care about the concerns we have for our pups. My pups were received by (former?) employee Courtney Crow for boarding at this clinic. Later, a judge granted a temporary restraining order against (former?) employees Courtney Crow and Megan Pannell after they removed my dogs from the clinic without my consent. Dr. Meyers refused to take any action, hung up on me and threatened me with trespassing when I tried to retrieve my dogs. This is not a matter of an unpaid debt. I do not owe this clinic a dime. The lawsuit is ongoing several years later and a website is underway detailing the ongoing fight to locate and retrieve my dogs. But, there are no words to describe this NIGHTMARE.Read Less

My girlfriend and I have been looking for a new place to take our 2 year old healer mix. She's very protective of me and reactive toward over excited dogs. The staff made every effort imaginable to ensure that Nibbler (my dog) was comfortable and anxiety free. Even going as far as clearing a path to an exam room twice just so no other dogs would bother her. I was met on time for my appointment in the exam room by Dr. Jill and have nothing but praise for how she introduced herself to Nibbler and made her feel at ease. I've never been to a clinic where my defensive dog would willingly allow a stranger to clean her ears without restraint. None the less wag her tail the entire time. Even after having a broken claw cut and being vaccinated my dog was cheerful and happy to see the techs and Dr.s the entire visit. Animal Care Clinic is in my opinion the very best place to take your pets! Dr. Jill Urofsky provides the most professional medical treatment and care possible. She is a very good listener which makes her a great doctor. Many veterinarians will not pay attention to what you are trying to convey about your pet and they only want to get you in and out the door, while making you pay a very high bill. Dr. Jill and her practice are NOT that way at all. She listens to you and pays attention to the details that you are trying to convey about your pet. She also is very thorough with her work and does her absolute best to make your pet comfortable. Her prices are reasonable and good. She will work with you on the cost if you need to do so. She explains all the options and does not try to "push" any cost or unnecessary treatments. Dr. Jill and Dr. Neeley, as well as the staff comprehend how to utilize boundaries with clients which demonstrates the utilization of utmost professionalism in human/animal services, which can either make or break a service provider. Balancing boundaries with clients while also trying to maintain quality customer service at the same time is not easy, but is a necessity to maintain professionalism.and Animal Care Clinic (Dr. Jill/Dr. Neeley, & Staff) have all been successful with this balance. I have been taking my pets to Dr. Jill since before she opened her own practice. I will not take them to anyone else. She goes above and beyond to provide professional customer service and ensures that she is making the very best choices to make your pet comfortable. Her staff are great too! Sarsey is very good with communication and with scheduling appointments for my pets. Hannah is very accurate with details and works very well with my cats and dogs. Ciara took very good care of my cat prior to surgery and while he was recovering from a tumor removal. Erika and Brittany are always there providing very thorough communication for me and helping both doctors with all my pets. Dr. Neeley removed a tumor from my cats chest. Words cannot express how professional the incision and tumor removal process was completed! Dr. Jill performed the best dental surgery I have ever seen on my dog as she removed all of his rotted teeth! Dr. Jill has also trimmed an overgrown & embedded nail on my polydactyl cat which is not an easy thing to do on a polydactyl cat as this particular type of nail is hidden within the paw and is very hard to reach. It also grows faster than an average cats nails/claws. I do not feel comfortable taking any of my pets to anyone else. From my experiences; Animal Care Clinic is the absolute best! Read Less
