The Kennel service is great and I love the people at the front desk, especially this one straight blonde hair young lady who has a medium sized body frame. She is very friendly and professional on the phone & when you go into the clinic. BUT, I have been very unhappy with the 2 major sedations we have paid for that cost us well over $600-1000 each time. Our beautiful dog has had ear problems since he was a puppy (now he is almost 11 years old). We moved from Georgetown to Round Rock. We live in Lake Forest so this animal hospital is very close & convenient for us. I like the male vet there, but the female vet never seems to do what she says she is going to do. The first time it happened I thought, ""Well....it was an oversight, but how could she not think I wouldn't want the deep inside of my dog's ears cleaned & just want the outside of his ears cleaned. I could of cleaned the inside of his ears myself with the expensive ear solution I purchased. We paid to sedate him because she said he would have the inner part of his ears cleaned."" When we picked him up & I got him home I noticed his ears still looked dirty inside. When I called her a few days later she said, ""OH, I didn't realize you wanted us to clean the inside of his ears."" Are you kidding me???? I paid to have him sedated so you could thoroughly clean his ears so his ears would have a better chance at draining better. Another time our dog had growths on his pads. So, we recommended we get them removed & send biopsy to the lab. This visit was all more than $1000 (between lab work, visit, sedation, etc. A few days later after my dog lets me look because he was gaurding his paws because he had stitches & was wearing a cone on his head, I notice he still has more tags on his pads. I called the Vet and she says again to me, ""Well I didn't realize you wanted me to remove them all."" Well of course I did! They are just going to continue to grow & he is going to cut them outside and bleed again. That's why I brought him in & paid to sedate him so you could remove the growths from his pads, not just 2 or 3 or them. I was upset. Since then our dog has had a couple more ear infections and we give him an antiobiotic and steroid & it seems to help. BUT now, his ears need cleaning again, but you can bet I will NOT take him to her again. Instead I am going to another VET that will do what they say they are going to do. AND....I will receive the services I pay for. I know my dog will probably never be able to have his ears drain properly because there is something wrong with how his inner ears are formed & cause draining issues. I feel bad for him & we love him very much. I do not like being taken advantage of, but I also don't like confrontation. Read Less
