Vca Saginaw Animal Hospital

Saginaw, Texas
General Info
VCA Saginaw Animal Hospital in Saginaw functions as a studio instead of a clinic by managing temperature tone texture and light to provide animal care across Texas. During the initial moments observation takes precedence while physical contact remains absent. Employees observe pets as they navigate corners and react to gentle sounds while adjusting their positions in response to movement. The diagnostic flow experiences real-time customization. The occurrence of breath-holding by pets during eye examinations or their flinching at neck touches prompts staff to alter the visit sequence. Owner input enhances every medical decision through observations of their pet's reaction to wind and changes in sleep positioning along with the frequency of initiated contact at home. VCA Saginaw Animal Hospital provides diagnostic services pain modeling mobility screening environmental allergy assessment preventive planning and long-term stabilization for chronic conditions. Animals experiencing trauma recovery or overstimulation benefit from services distributed across various time slots combined with decompression breaks. Time-of-day patterns combined with social home environments dictate the ways people communicate about results. The scheduling of follow-up appointments relies on pets' recovery progress instead of specific dates. Animal owners receive instruction to detect post-visit behavioral changes such as room avoidance and reduced stretching or delayed vocalizations. The channels of communication remain available for modification whenever routines change or symptoms emerge slowly. VCA Saginaw Animal Hospital provides veterinary services throughout Saginaw and nearby Texas regions by interpreting pets' behaviors alongside owners' observations within the subtle spaces between heartbeats gestures and silent moments.

Sparta is her name. She was 13 years old. She was a military brat (the best) and the most Amazing little being. She has a family that adores her and feels an horrible loss with her passing. We feel blessed to have had this last 3 weeks with her. It absolutely stunk researching lymphoma on our own and figuring out end of life options for her, on our own. In home euthanasia was a blessing for Sparta and for us. This VCA failed her and us. We Needed to know what was coming and what to expect... her breathing, pain, panic, the end. We were told to reach out and we did. Repeatedly. For Any of the doctors.. I had trust in them. What I received was a text message that stated the doctor had been in surgery and would contact me that day (which was 2 days after message was left)- no one called. Unexceptable. We did however receive a notice that Sparta was overdue for her pysical. The one that we just gotten and paid quite a bit for. Looking at her records was disappointing, also. Not updated. One day we will rescue again and we will Not take my next furbaby to a VCA because of this. Hurts to write a review about a place we have supported for years. 0* Read Less

On June 7th, 2018 at 8am I walked in with my sick dog. She had been sick for almost a week and I wasn't able to take her to her normal vet. I had never been to VCA but they were open early and was able to see my dog. Unfortunately, my dog needed surgery immediately that I just couldn't afford and VCA had to do the euthanasing which I could only barely afford. All the staff were friendly and supportive caring and compassionate. From my one and only visit to VCA I have nothing negative to say about them. Perhaps I called at a bad time but the receptionist I dealt with was not very friendly and said I had used my two free visits when in fact I had only used one but she said my ex husbands dog was on the account as well and wouldn't remove him. I explained that it was not my dog that in fact it was his and so that should be his visit not mine but she kept saying well it's under your phone number. I found it pointless to argue so I just hung up and called another vet who is also cheaper on the office visit. If she had taken the time to ask someone higher up if there was any way to take my ex off the account that would have been appreciated as it was not even my dog,but she failed to even try. I came in to pick up a medication refill for an expensive medication for two of my dogs. I used care credit as I have at least 10 times before at this facility. I told the receptionist to choose the highest month option for the care credit option. She doesn't even respond and just charges my care credit card and picks the 6-month option. Every single time I have visited this facility before, I was offered the 12-month or 18-month options. When I asked the receptionist why I hadn't been offered those, she very rudely said that the 6-month was my only option and that she had worked there over a year and was told she could only ever offer a 6-month payment option no matter what amount the transaction was. I asked if this was new and she proceeded to rudely say no and the same things she said before. I explained again that just the last time I'd come two months prior, I was offered the 18-month option. She did not seem to care. I asked if I could speak to someone else and she said very rudely that the office manager wasn't there and she could leave a message for that person to call me. But what's the point? She's already charged my care credit card. Will not be going back. VCA Metroplex in Irving is so much better! Read Less

They did a good job when our Dalmatian got injured by a car. On the other hand, I brought in two senior, fragile cats who were having trouble breathing. I was horrified when a fat assistant, lazily grabbed one cat with one arm under her front legs and hauled her away as if she were a piece of trash. They keep the cat overnight and called me the next day to come and pick her up because she was doing so well. When I got there I found out she had died and no one bothered to notice. They were consistently higher price than other vets. I now drive an hour to take ur ten cats, two dogs and three horses to Argyle Veterinary. Argyle is better, cheaper, available 24/7 and updates me if an animal has to stay overnight. Read Less

We have used VCA Saginaw Vets for over 10 years. Our dachshund has been seen there since he was a puppy. We have always used them to board, sometimes for over 10 days at a time. Recently he had extensive dental surgery there. We figured he would come out not feeling well. Nope, he came out with his tail wagging & smiling! They did a great job on his teeth & his overall health! They are a blessing to have in this community. Debra Ashworth & John Ashworth Read Less

Read Less
