Our family has been coming here for several years and have always received great care for our dogs there... Im not sure what’s changed but today was a whole different experience. During our entire visit Dr. Duel came across very impersonal and condescending. We have been transitioning our dogs diet to half “kibble” and half fresh food (lots of new evidence based research showing fresh food is better; no brainer) and wanted recommendations on what to improve on. Her response was a 10 minute rant about why dog food companies know best. To each their own opinion, I just don’t think this was an appropriate response to a customer asking for a professional recommendation. All in all her bedside manner was just lacking and we will not be going back to her. Not a great reflection on SVH at all.

I recently took a gravely ill pet to Salado Veterinary Hospital. The doctors and staff were very kind, empathetic and thorough. They explained to me the needed tests and procedures well. Treatment was expensive, but their charges were very reasonable compared to other vets we have been to, and they have great office hours. They did an excellent job.

I have had visits with 3 of the vets and the vet techs and have had a good experience each time. They were very caring and professional. The front desk staff is always polite and helpful. Have the option of appointment or walk in on Saturday Mornings which I love for someone who works M-F. They also have after 5 emergency coverage during the week.

Our Schnauzer has been a long time patient of Dr. Duell who has recently moved her practice to this Veterinary hospital. We took our dog in to have her look at a lump under her leg. We scheduled surgery for the following Tuesday and made sure our dog fasted and was there on time. When we walked into the front office we were told that Hallie was not on the schedule and that Dr. Duell had scheduled her for Thursday with another Vet. Clearly we were told surgery would be Tuesday as that was her only day for surgery. Two weeks later we have heard nothing from the Doctor or the hospital in followup to this mixup. Very disappointed in their professionalism. Would not recommend.

Overnight, our dog, Darci, had sudden paralysis of her back legs. After being referred to Dr. Kendall, we visited his office. Dr. Kendall and his staff are phenomenal! Dr. Kendall is kind, caring, and attentive to the animals he treats. He also has reasonable prices and is an honest, genuine guy. It has been about 2-3 weeks now and Darci is making progress on getting feeling back to her legs and had we not visited Dr. Kendall, she most likely would have been put down by another vet, rather than giving her a second chance. We will continue to come to his office and bring all of our other animals here (3 other dogs and 4 cats). Cannot recommend Dr. Kendall enough! Come here!

The staff here really cares. The vets are very knowledgeable and kind. I have three dogs and three cats and bring them all here. My dogs walk right in and love going. When we had to put one of our dogs down last summer they were so professional and sweet. They took into account that our dog was in pain and didn't even try to move her until they gave her some pain meds. Than gave my children as much time as needed to say goodbye. They are so kind to all the animals that come thru the doors. Please give them a try you wont be sorry.

Thoroughly impressed with the staff, Dr. Schultze, and the facility in general. Received excellent service and treatment, including myself, my family, and my animal. Wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable people. I'd recommend this office to anyone and everyone! For the record, I live two and a half hours away from the clinic, and I would drive back in a heartbeat if needed. Well worth it.

This is a great veterinary hospital. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, but most of all they clearly love animals. I take all our dogs and cats here for routine and emergency medical issues. Our animals seem to sense the compassion and concern of the staff here. Just a great place if you need medical attention for your animals. I highly recommend the Salado Veterinary Hospital.

They are very straight forward about our elderly dog and their prices are excellent. With my prior work history and knowledge of veterinary services I am very critical of who will take care of my animals. They make the cut that's for sure!!

Clearly we were told surgery would be Tuesday as that was her only day for surgery. Two weeks later we have heard nothing from the Doctor or the hospital in followup to this mixup. Very disappointed in their professionalism. Would not recommend.

After having vets in the DFW area charge huge amounts of money with out fixing the problem, it was a blessing when a friend gave us the information for Salado Veterinary Hospital DVM Dr. Kendall is the best. Our fur baby is on the mend thanks to this great place and all the great staff. They really understand that our fur babies are members of the family.

Dr. Schultze is awesome!! It's nice to have a vet that is good with my birds. Petree is 25 years old and he has been wonderful with her!! The staff are all so nice and helpful!! Even if I live farther...

Can't say enough good things. We have entrusted our dogs to Dr Kendall and Dr Schultze since we moved to Salado. You won't find a better, more caring veterinary practice anywhere. Period.

Overnight, our dog, Darci, had sudden paralysis of her back legs. After being referred to Dr. Kendall, we visited his office. Dr. Kendall and his staff are phenomenal! Dr. Kendall is kind, caring, and attentive to the animals he treats. He also has reasonable prices and is an honest, genuine guy. It has been about 2-3 weeks now and Darci is making progress on getting feeling back to her legs and had we not visited Dr. Kendall, she most likely would have been put down by another vet, rather than giving her a second chance. We will continue to come to his office and bring all of our other animals here (3 other dogs and 4 cats). Cannot recommend Dr. Kendall enough! Come here!

The staff here really cares. The vets are very knowledgeable and kind. I have three dogs and three cats and bring them all here. My dogs walk right in and love going. When we had to put one of our dogs down last summer they were so professional and sweet. They took into account that our dog was in pain and didn't even try to move her until they gave her some pain meds. Than gave my children as much time as needed to say goodbye. They are so kind to all the animals that come thru the doors. Please give them a try you wont be sorry.

Thoroughly impressed with the staff, Dr. Schultze, and the facility in general. Received excellent service and treatment, including myself, my family, and my animal. Wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable people. I'd recommend this office to anyone and everyone! For the record, I live two and a half hours away from the clinic, and I would drive back in a heartbeat if needed. Well worth it.

This is a great veterinary hospital. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, but most of all they clearly love animals. I take all our dogs and cats here for routine and emergency medical issues. Our animals seem to sense the compassion and concern of the staff here. Just a great place if you need medical attention for your animals. I highly recommend the Salado Veterinary Hospital.

They are very straight forward about our elderly dog and their prices are excellent. With my prior work history and knowledge of veterinary services I am very critical of who will take care of my animals. They make the cut that's for sure!!
