The vets here provide high quality personalized care for our dog. They were able to read her anxious personality and adjust how they examined her to make her as comfortable as possible. The facility feels new and clean, and the waiting room has plenty of space for all of the animals, including a walled off section for cats. The vet techs and assistants are all knowledgeable, friendly, and fast.

This vet hospital was always a business we passed and wondered about, since it was so close to our home. When we were displeased with our previous vet's service, we decided to take our dog there and have not gone anywhere else! Throughout my family, we have taken 7 dogs total there and the service is always amazing. You can feel the love the staff and veterinarians have for the pets they care for.
Unfortunately, our family has had to cope with losing a few our of pets to illness and the tenderness and kindness they show to a grieving pet owner is something I did not expect but that is very welcome and helps with the extremely sad time.
I plan on taking my dogs there for many years to come!
P.S. Have been taking my current dog there since he was a puppy; love how the reminder cards have a picture of him as a puppy! Too adorable!!

I cannot say enough great things about this vet! They're courteous and professional and treat my cat, Zap, with the best care. I treat him like my child and have very high standards for his care. Babcock Hills exceeds expectations every time. I even joke to my husband that I wish I could find a people-doctor that's as good as these guys.
They have a separate waiting area just for cats and even have a back exit to help ease kitty anxiety. Dr. Zapalac is so knowledgeable and treats Zap very gently. You can tell she has a great compassion for her furry clientele. She always explains things clearly and does a thorough treatment.

Regardless their prices are great compared to other places in the area. Dr. Gomes takes very good care of my pup and does an amazing job explaining everything to me. Would not go anywhere else for my dogs care.

I have great concerns about having my pet return to this location if I have to communicate with the front office. They confused appointment time. Did not write correct name of dog down and then seemed very unconcerned about my frustration. The OR tech called wrong phone number and left message on someone else's phone about my dog and then when I called talked down to me and was EXTREMELY disrespectful and uncaring I understanding they are hiring. Hopefully they will get staff that like their job and the animals that are The PETS we love....

I can't say enough how much I love this clinic!! All of the staff is on point, they do their jobs with caring and initiative, nobody is disinterested or on autopilot. The two doctors I've dealt with, Dr Lane and Dr Schrank, are so nice and very thorough and knowledgeable. I always feel confident of the information and recommendations they are providing. Everything I'm calling out here is in sharp contrast to another vet we sometimes use (only because they are a little bit cheaper and we have 4 expensive dogs). My dealings with these two businesses definitely illustrate that you get what you pay for. Babcock Hills is first class and worth it!

The staff here is so kind, and the office is spotless. I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen and the Vet so so caring. She was sensitive to my concern about my cat having a lump and took extra precaution. I am so grateful, when she said results were in she would call. ABout a week later received the call that it was just a fatty lump, so relieved! Very rgateful for this vet office and their care for my fur babies. Highly recommend!

I think they actually do a lot of their diagnostics in-house, which is really convenient.Dr. Schrank is the first vet in nine years that my dog isn't terrified of! He's got great rapport with animals, and with their owners too. Any time we have any tests, the doctor calls personally to discuss the results-- no time consuming relay messages back and forth with office staff and vet techs in the middle. Making decisions about your pets' health is a lot easier when the information comes straight from the source! I feel like he really cares about my dogs.The downside: They don't have a very big selection of food products, so you may have to buy your prescription diets online. They ARE more pricey than the average vet, but you can't put a price tag on your furry friends' health.

This is a really great animal clinic. I'm so glad I chose Babcock Hills for my cat Saturn. The staff is very nice, accommodating and professional. She has been a patient since 2015 when I adopted her, and they have always gone above and beyond, especially in making sure that Saturn is comfortable. They kept me updated throughout the day when she had her surgery. Dr. Zapalac is fantastic. Her knowledge is extensive, and I always felt very informed about a test or medication, and she obviously cares a lot about my cat's well being. I would definitely recommend this clinic to any pet owners, and especially other cat owners. They're very aware of a cat's needs, and I always feel like she's in good hands.

Was recommended to this office by a friend and I can see why! These guys are awesome! I came in looking for a second opinion after terrible services at a precious office. The staff is very personable and welcoming, they even had a little sign with all the pets coming in that day which I thought was a nice touch! We met with Dr Zapalac who was very nice and informative. She took the time to listen to our concerns and even touched based with the previous office for some history on my pet. I left there feeling more at ease and with more information than I had at my previous vet that I had seen 3+ times with the same concern.

My cat Cleopatra is not a fan of the vet. I took her for the day yesterday because my roof is being replaced at my house. I also came back mid day to meet with the vet for her exam then left her there until later that day. I was not worried about her because I knew they'd take great care of her in my absence. Cleopatra's was very scared during the exam but they managed to get her to calm down and they were able to do what they needed to do to check her out. I don't take her often but when I do it's always a very pleasant, professional office and staff.

Babcock Hills have been taking care of our dogs and cat since 2013. In that time in addition to everyday stuff, we've had some pretty challenging health issues with our pets (malfunctioning liver, dog ate a poisonous mushroom, broken tail, torn paw pad, born without front legs, obese cat, etc) throughout the past (almost) 4 years every doctor we have seen has been compassionate and competent (a hard mix to find) the vet techs know our kids by name and seem to truly enjoy their jobs and the front desk staff is always amazing. I usually get to talk to Pam when I call and whether I need an emergency appt, a refill on medication or just a copy of vaccine records Pam is always awesome and very helpful.
Long story short we're very glad we found them and highly recommend them!

I wanted to find an AAHA accredited animal hospital that practiced high quality veterinary medicine and care. I was so thrilled to find a place right down the street from my house! From the very beginning to booking the appointment and to checking out, it has been a wonderful experience! Vanessa offered amazing customer service in answering all my mom's questions regarding booking the appointment. Our tech Melinda and Dr. Lane were just so dear! They both have a clam energy and demeanor, which my dogs need (Dachshund owners know this, but my golden was perfect as always :)). As new clients to this practice, they both took the time to answer our questions and discuss my dogs health issues. As someone who has worked in the veterinary field for 8 yrs, I really appreciated their time, kindness and professionalism. Most definitely recommend them as your vet for your furry four-legged child! Thank you Dr. Lane and Melinda!!

Love this clinic! Amazing staff and wonderful Vetrinary care. I brought in our 9 month old rescue and the Vet and Tech sat on the floor with my dog and pet him, visited with me discussing concerns and gave me tons of literature to help with behavioral issues. The total for the exam and 1 1/2 hour visit under 50.00. Ok, all I can say is wow! They put animals first, money second! Highly recommend.

The one-on-one attention we received from the kind and gentle Dr. Gomes was OUTSTANDING, her compassion towards both humans and animals exceeded that of any doctor/veterinarian Ive ever met. The doctors and technicians here went above and beyond to comfort and reassure me, while giving my Baby Bear the best care imaginable. Dr. Gomes took the time to *personally* call around to specialists to take care of Baby Bear's hip surgery, and had us an appointment the very same day. Words can not describe how grateful I am to have stumbled across this exceptional veterinary hospital. Regarding complaints about price: I brought my Baby Bear after he severely dislocated his hip. For an exam, X-rays, and an injection of pain medication, the total cost was less than what I would have paid for a single x-ray at our previous vet. This place is not driven by greed/profit, they are motivated by a genuine and sincere love for the animals in their care.

When we got a new puppy and moved across town we knew we had to take him here. Our puppy hasn't been feeling well for the past week and since we are new puppy owners, we were nervous wrecks. The staff at Babcock Hills were very caring, supportive and never treated us like the obnoxious, paranoid owners we were being. They took the time to ease our worries and frequently called to check in to see how Charles was doing.My favorite thing is that when we would call with concerns, they always returned our phone calls the same day, even after hours! I can not stress how reassuring and important this was to us. You never want to have a sick puppy and have to wait until the next business day to find out if it is life threatening or not. Charles is now back to his playful (extremely hyper) self!

Now both my precious doggys are with out their second booster that they need because I'm refusing to pay for a fee that I've already paid for! I've seen complaints about BHVH being expensive. I have no idea if they are or not, but the service and care they provide our pets has been top notch. They absolutely love on Maggie!! I went in thinking my pugs had an eye infection..maybe some bad gunkies... she was very calm and showed me the tear on his cornea and how deep it was. She calmly but trongly pushed me to see a vet ophthalmologist asap made the appt the same afternoon, faxed records, called multiple times throughout the day to follow up and turns out my baby had a deep the cornea tear and infection thru almost 90 percent of his cornea! Emergency cornea graft needed asap! If he didn't get it he would've lost his eye potentially that weekend. Yes this was all done on a Friday afternoon. If it was for the calm swift work of this initial vet my puggie might not be here today! Furever grateful!

I appreciated how she told me about prices when she suggested her recommendations. The others will not do that. They mentioned oh your dog might have this and that, so we need to run all these tests! I was thinking you are crazy I'm not rich to be paying for all of these test and being clueless of the prices. I do like that it's very clean, just not considerate of prices. They are expensive compared to other places.

When decisions need to be made about end of life issues for a beloved pet, nothing can replace compassionate, caring counsel from a knowledgeable professional. When my regular vet did not feel comfortable giving me advice about my dog, Dr. Lucero was recommended. She eventually offered euthanasia as an option. Although we had just met, she had a way of addressing all of my emotional needs - the guilt, the indecision, the grief, in a genuine and heartfelt way that made a tragic situation bearable. Because of that, I am switching to her for the care of my other pets. \
Some have written about the clinic trying to charge unnecessarily here and there. I did not experience this, but I wouldn't be surprised. In my experience working with seven different vets in three different cities over the past seven years, this is common practice. It's getting harder and harder to find a vet practice that doesn't at least try.

Well, since I paid 62 for them to do it last year and he has been on it no stop year round I said no. I go to Alamo Dog and Cat Hospital and they quote me for Rabies, Parvo, Microchipping and 6 months of HeartGuard $145. Babcock Hills is rip off they even charge more for medicine. I will never go here again.

Inaccurate and overpriced! I lived in San Antonio for just over a year and had my 2dogs teated there multiple times and ALWAYS felt up sold and over charged. The worst is that my dog who never had ear problems started to develop very dirty ears. I mean really dirty clean every day grossness. So I took him in just to have his ears checked and was told "some dogs just develop dirty ears" I didn't feel comfortable with that answer but paid $250 to hear it so I decided to trust the vet... One year later enough was enough and I took my dog to a different vet in my new city and was told he DEFIANTLY has and has had earmites for some time. I'm appalled that I listened to this vet and my sweet boy had to suffer almost an entire year due to my stupidity. My dogs are my kids and should have trusted my instinct.

My family has been bringing our pets here since I was a little girl. The care is exceptional! Dr. Lanier is wonderful, caring, and very knowledgable. When we had to put down one of my family's beloved cats, the team made us a clay ornament with her paw prints on it and printed her name. When another of my cats had a serious injury, the team taught me how to clean the wounds by myself so that I wouldn't be racking up daily vet bills. And finally, I just got a call yesterday stating that months ago when I had bought Revolution, they had forgotten to give me two months of extra doses for free as part of their promotion. Needless to say, the staff and vets here go above and beyond to care for their patients. Highly recommend! :D

Your front desk co-ordinator (forgot name Mealanie? ) kept giving offensive looks and displayed a disinterested attitude when dogs naturally tend to say hi to each other and people around. She seems to not care at all. Your front desk staff are supposed to drop everything they do and greet people and check with them first as and when we enter the hospital. I waited 10 minutes just looking at them when all the three ladies kept chatting about something and laughing around. There was no one ahead of me at that time and i was the only one. All they did was give me a look and kept doing what they were doing. I think they have become comfortable with the fact that they have a job and its fairly stable. I have been coming here for 6 years but looks like i will have to disrupt your business by taking my business else where. There is no shortage of vet hospitals. The vet doctors are fine however but the staff ruins it for everyone.

My dog had super anxiety being around other dogs inside; she practically howled the whole time in the waiting room but they were super nice about it. When Riley saw her, he was very kind with her, was gentle, and very professional. Dr Zapalac was AMAZING! She was very sweet, pleasant, honest, approachable, clear, and provided great information! I have been to a few different vets, and they were okay (with the exception of Dr Becker and Becker's Animal Hospital- they are the worst! Avoid at all cost!!!) but Babcock Hills is the best by far! I will never go anywhere else! Thank you Riley and Dr Zapalac!!!

We just adopted our Goldendoodle puppy and were on the search for a good vet. We picked this office based on the yelp reviews and they did not disappoint. We have been here three times so far for our puppies initial vaccinations. Every single time the staff and veterinarians have been welcoming, courteous, and attentive. They are very accomodating with scheduling as well. Our puppy has been seen by both Dr. Lane and Dr. Lanier- you can tell that both enjoy their job. They take their time to check the puppy and address any concerns we may have. We make the drive all the way from Stone Oak and it is worth it! We definitely will recommend this office to anyone that needs a vet!

The facility feels new and clean, and the waiting room has plenty of space for all of the animals, including a walled off section for cats. This vet hospital was always a business we passed and wondered about, since it was so close to our home. When we were displeased with our previous vet's service, we decided to take our dog there and have not gone anywhere else! Throughout my family, we have taken 7 dogs total there and the service is always amazing. You can feel the love the staff and veterinarians have for the pets they care for.
Unfortunately, our family has had to cope with losing a few our of pets to illness and the tenderness and kindness they show to a grieving pet owner is something I did not expect but that is very welcome and helps with the extremely sad time.
I plan on taking my dogs there for many years to come!
P.S. Have been taking my current dog there since he was a puppy; love how the reminder cards have a picture of him as a puppy! Too adorable!!

I cannot say enough great things about this vet! They're courteous and professional and treat my cat, Zap, with the best care. I treat him like my child and have very high standards for his care. Babcock Hills exceeds expectations every time. I even joke to my husband that I wish I could find a people-doctor that's as good as these guys.
They have a separate waiting area just for cats and even have a back exit to help ease kitty anxiety. Dr. Zapalac is so knowledgeable and treats Zap very gently. You can tell she has a great compassion for her furry clientele. She always explains things clearly and does a thorough treatment.

I have great concerns about having my pet return to this location if I have to communicate with the front office. They confused appointment time. Did not write correct name of dog down and then seemed very unconcerned about my frustration. The OR tech called wrong phone number and left message on someone else's phone about my dog and then when I called talked down to me and was EXTREMELY disrespectful and uncaring I understanding they are hiring. Hopefully they will get staff that like their job and the animals that are The PETS we love....

I can't say enough how much I love this clinic!! All of the staff is on point, they do their jobs with caring and initiative, nobody is disinterested or on autopilot. The two doctors I've dealt with, Dr Lane and Dr Schrank, are so nice and very thorough and knowledgeable. I always feel confident of the information and recommendations they are providing. Everything I'm calling out here is in sharp contrast to another vet we sometimes use (only because they are a little bit cheaper and we have 4 expensive dogs). My dealings with these two businesses definitely illustrate that you get what you pay for. Babcock Hills is first class and worth it!

She was sensitive to my concern about my cat having a lump and took extra precaution. I am so grateful, when she said results were in she would call. ABout a week later received the call that it was just a fatty lump, so relieved! Very rgateful for this vet office and their care for my fur babies. Highly recommend!

I think they actually do a lot of their diagnostics in-house, which is really convenient.Dr. Schrank is the first vet in nine years that my dog isn't terrified of! He's got great rapport with animals, and with their owners too. Any time we have any tests, the doctor calls personally to discuss the results-- no time consuming relay messages back and forth with office staff and vet techs in the middle. Making decisions about your pets' health is a lot easier when the information comes straight from the source! I feel like he really cares about my dogs.The downside: They don't have a very big selection of food products, so you may have to buy your prescription diets online. They ARE more pricey than the average vet, but you can't put a price tag on your furry friends' health.

This is a really great animal clinic. I'm so glad I chose Babcock Hills for my cat Saturn. The staff is very nice, accommodating and professional. She has been a patient since 2015 when I adopted her, and they have always gone above and beyond, especially in making sure that Saturn is comfortable. They kept me updated throughout the day when she had her surgery. Dr. Zapalac is fantastic. Her knowledge is extensive, and I always felt very informed about a test or medication, and she obviously cares a lot about my cat's well being. I would definitely recommend this clinic to any pet owners, and especially other cat owners. They're very aware of a cat's needs, and I always feel like she's in good hands.

Was recommended to this office by a friend and I can see why! These guys are awesome! I came in looking for a second opinion after terrible services at a precious office. The staff is very personable and welcoming, they even had a little sign with all the pets coming in that day which I thought was a nice touch! We met with Dr Zapalac who was very nice and informative. She took the time to listen to our concerns and even touched based with the previous office for some history on my pet. I left there feeling more at ease and with more information than I had at my previous vet that I had seen 3+ times with the same concern.

My cat Cleopatra is not a fan of the vet. I took her for the day yesterday because my roof is being replaced at my house. I also came back mid day to meet with the vet for her exam then left her there until later that day. I was not worried about her because I knew they'd take great care of her in my absence. Cleopatra's was very scared during the exam but they managed to get her to calm down and they were able to do what they needed to do to check her out. I don't take her often but when I do it's always a very pleasant, professional office and staff.

Babcock Hills have been taking care of our dogs and cat since 2013. In that time in addition to everyday stuff, we've had some pretty challenging health issues with our pets (malfunctioning liver, dog ate a poisonous mushroom, broken tail, torn paw pad, born without front legs, obese cat, etc) throughout the past (almost) 4 years every doctor we have seen has been compassionate and competent (a hard mix to find) the vet techs know our kids by name and seem to truly enjoy their jobs and the front desk staff is always amazing. I usually get to talk to Pam when I call and whether I need an emergency appt, a refill on medication or just a copy of vaccine records Pam is always awesome and very helpful.
Long story short we're very glad we found them and highly recommend them!

They are careful not to bill me for services that I don't need and they ALWAYS follow up to see how things are going at home. I was nervous to find a new vet when moving to the city, but this place has eased my mind.Had another vet appointment today and they AGAIN blew me away! I wanted to find an AAHA accredited animal hospital that practiced high quality veterinary medicine and care. I was so thrilled to find a place right down the street from my house! From the very beginning to booking the appointment and to checking out, it has been a wonderful experience! Vanessa offered amazing customer service in answering all my mom's questions regarding booking the appointment. Our tech Melinda and Dr. Lane were just so dear! They both have a clam energy and demeanor, which my dogs need (Dachshund owners know this, but my golden was perfect as always :)). As new clients to this practice, they both took the time to answer our questions and discuss my dogs health issues. As someone who has worked in the veterinary field for 8 yrs, I really appreciated their time, kindness and professionalism. Most definitely recommend them as your vet for your furry four-legged child! Thank you Dr. Lane and Melinda!!

Love this clinic! Amazing staff and wonderful Vetrinary care. I brought in our 9 month old rescue and the Vet and Tech sat on the floor with my dog and pet him, visited with me discussing concerns and gave me tons of literature to help with behavioral issues. The total for the exam and 1 1/2 hour visit under 50.00. Ok, all I can say is wow! They put animals first, money second! Highly recommend.

The one-on-one attention we received from the kind and gentle Dr. Gomes was OUTSTANDING, her compassion towards both humans and animals exceeded that of any doctor/veterinarian Ive ever met. The doctors and technicians here went above and beyond to comfort and reassure me, while giving my Baby Bear the best care imaginable. Dr. Gomes took the time to *personally* call around to specialists to take care of Baby Bear's hip surgery, and had us an appointment the very same day. Words can not describe how grateful I am to have stumbled across this exceptional veterinary hospital. Regarding complaints about price: I brought my Baby Bear after he severely dislocated his hip. For an exam, X-rays, and an injection of pain medication, the total cost was less than what I would have paid for a single x-ray at our previous vet. This place is not driven by greed/profit, they are motivated by a genuine and sincere love for the animals in their care.

Love Babcock Hills Vets and was so sad when we moved that we had to leave this awesome group! Everyone here is so friendly and so helpful! We were extremely grateful for Dr. Lane who walked me through every step of moving abroad with our dog Yoda. Not only did she call me after hours on a Friday to help me understand the full process, she made sure that all of his paperwork was accurate so we would have no issues. Highly recommend Babcock Vets!

I started coming here with my first dog years ago because it was right next door to my apartment. After coming here the first time, convenience was no longer the reason I kept returning. When we got a new puppy and moved across town we knew we had to take him here. Our puppy hasn't been feeling well for the past week and since we are new puppy owners, we were nervous wrecks. The staff at Babcock Hills were very caring, supportive and never treated us like the obnoxious, paranoid owners we were being. They took the time to ease our worries and frequently called to check in to see how Charles was doing.My favorite thing is that when we would call with concerns, they always returned our phone calls the same day, even after hours! I can not stress how reassuring and important this was to us. You never want to have a sick puppy and have to wait until the next business day to find out if it is life threatening or not. Charles is now back to his playful (extremely hyper) self!

I started coming here with my first dog years ago because it was right next door to my apartment. After coming here the first time, convenience was no longer the reason I kept returning. These folks do a superior job at keeping us up to date on all our meds and shots. They do great work on our dogs and cats - all for a reasonable price!

If you pay for an exam for boosters that one exam fee should be for both boosters that are required especially if the first exam fee was done in less than 4 weeks. It's not about the money it's about being taken advantage of as well as misinformed... Shame on your clinic! Now both my precious doggys are with out their second booster that they need because I'm refusing to pay for a fee that I've already paid for! And front desk doesn't seem to be understanding or problem solving I was just another pet owner~ very frustrated!

Dr. Lanier and the rest of the wonderful staff are very caring and thorough. They give you 100% of their attention and are so nice to work with! They are currently taking great care of our 5 yr old Bulldog. But we've used them for at least 10 years total. Some balk that they can be pricy but believe me you do get what you pay for and they will take great care of you and your furry pals!

Just wanted to thank Babcock Hills , and especially, Dr. Lanier for their understanding, care and compassion when we had to put our beloved Sadie down this weekend. I've seen complaints about BHVH being expensive. I have no idea if they are or not, but the service and care they provide our pets has been top notch. They absolutely love on Maggie!! I will gladly pay a little more for their services. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants high quality, honest care for your pets.

My three dachshunds and I have been going to Babcock Hills for almost three years now and have nothing but good things to say about the docs, techs and staff. I admit that I am a bit of a "helicopter parent" when it comes to my babies, but everyone we've seen there has made us feel special and even the dogs behave and seem happy to be there.

I love this place. They do military discount they don't try to nickel and dime you for a bunch of services and they saved my pugs life! I went in thinking my pugs had an eye infection..maybe some bad gunkies... she was very calm and showed me the tear on his cornea and how deep it was. She calmly but trongly pushed me to see a vet ophthalmologist asap made the appt the same afternoon, faxed records, called multiple times throughout the day to follow up and turns out my baby had a deep the cornea tear and infection thru almost 90 percent of his cornea! Emergency cornea graft needed asap! If he didn't get it he would've lost his eye potentially that weekend. Yes this was all done on a Friday afternoon. If it was for the calm swift work of this initial vet my puggie might not be here today! Furever grateful!

I want to give this place five stars only because they do CARE for your pets however it is extremely overpriced. There is one vet there, she is young and is super sweet. I appreciated how she told me about prices when she suggested her recommendations. The others will not do that. They mentioned oh your dog might have this and that, so we need to run all these tests! I was thinking you are crazy I'm not rich to be paying for all of these test and being clueless of the prices. I do like that it's very clean, just not considerate of prices. They are expensive compared to other places.

When decisions need to be made about end of life issues for a beloved pet, nothing can replace compassionate, caring counsel from a knowledgeable professional. When my regular vet did not feel comfortable giving me advice about my dog, Dr. Lucero was recommended. She eventually offered euthanasia as an option. Although we had just met, she had a way of addressing all of my emotional needs - the guilt, the indecision, the grief, in a genuine and heartfelt way that made a tragic situation bearable. Because of that, I am switching to her for the care of my other pets. \
Some have written about the clinic trying to charge unnecessarily here and there. I did not experience this, but I wouldn't be surprised. In my experience working with seven different vets in three different cities over the past seven years, this is common practice. It's getting harder and harder to find a vet practice that doesn't at least try.

I got quoted for my GSD male for Rabies, Parvo, and Microchipping for $185 and that if I wanted more heart worm prevention I'd have to get him tested again. Well, since I paid 62 for them to do it last year and he has been on it no stop year round I said no. I go to Alamo Dog and Cat Hospital and they quote me for Rabies, Parvo, Microchipping and 6 months of HeartGuard $145. Babcock Hills is rip off they even charge more for medicine. I will never go here again.

Inaccurate and overpriced! I lived in San Antonio for just over a year and had my 2dogs teated there multiple times and ALWAYS felt up sold and over charged. The worst is that my dog who never had ear problems started to develop very dirty ears. I mean really dirty clean every day grossness. So I took him in just to have his ears checked and was told "some dogs just develop dirty ears" I didn't feel comfortable with that answer but paid $250 to hear it so I decided to trust the vet... One year later enough was enough and I took my dog to a different vet in my new city and was told he DEFIANTLY has and has had earmites for some time. I'm appalled that I listened to this vet and my sweet boy had to suffer almost an entire year due to my stupidity. My dogs are my kids and should have trusted my instinct.

My family has been bringing our pets here since I was a little girl. The care is exceptional! Dr. Lanier is wonderful, caring, and very knowledgable. When we had to put down one of my family's beloved cats, the team made us a clay ornament with her paw prints on it and printed her name. When another of my cats had a serious injury, the team taught me how to clean the wounds by myself so that I wouldn't be racking up daily vet bills. And finally, I just got a call yesterday stating that months ago when I had bought Revolution, they had forgotten to give me two months of extra doses for free as part of their promotion. Needless to say, the staff and vets here go above and beyond to care for their patients. Highly recommend! :D

Your front desk co-ordinator (forgot name Mealanie? ) kept giving offensive looks and displayed a disinterested attitude when dogs naturally tend to say hi to each other and people around. She seems to not care at all. Your front desk staff are supposed to drop everything they do and greet people and check with them first as and when we enter the hospital. I waited 10 minutes just looking at them when all the three ladies kept chatting about something and laughing around. There was no one ahead of me at that time and i was the only one. All they did was give me a look and kept doing what they were doing. I think they have become comfortable with the fact that they have a job and its fairly stable. I have been coming here for 6 years but looks like i will have to disrupt your business by taking my business else where. There is no shortage of vet hospitals. The vet doctors are fine however but the staff ruins it for everyone.

My dog had super anxiety being around other dogs inside; she practically howled the whole time in the waiting room but they were super nice about it. When Riley saw her, he was very kind with her, was gentle, and very professional. Dr Zapalac was AMAZING! She was very sweet, pleasant, honest, approachable, clear, and provided great information! I have been to a few different vets, and they were okay (with the exception of Dr Becker and Becker's Animal Hospital- they are the worst! Avoid at all cost!!!) but Babcock Hills is the best by far! I will never go anywhere else! Thank you Riley and Dr Zapalac!!!

We just adopted our Goldendoodle puppy and were on the search for a good vet. We picked this office based on the yelp reviews and they did not disappoint. We have been here three times so far for our puppies initial vaccinations. Every single time the staff and veterinarians have been welcoming, courteous, and attentive. They are very accomodating with scheduling as well. Our puppy has been seen by both Dr. Lane and Dr. Lanier- you can tell that both enjoy their job. They take their time to check the puppy and address any concerns we may have. We make the drive all the way from Stone Oak and it is worth it! We definitely will recommend this office to anyone that needs a vet!
