Dont come to this place! Don’t get here early for an appointment! Waited 40 minutes for a drop off at 0730 didn’t get my pet in until 0810, there were multiple attendants to assist but they left hat poor girl by herself.
Update 6/29/2018: came back for a check up on my let’s surgery from the previous post, they didn’t have my scheduled appointment, then called me a liar when I told them it was scheduled with an email confirmation and even pointed to the technician who made my appointment, then they turned another customer away for the same thing. The most disorganized place and disrespectful customer service! Dr. Diaz is just as bad here, he did a botch job on my let’s surgery. There was always a reason I went to the Alamo Ranch Banfield, now I know why! Never coming back here.

Everyone has been super friendly and knowledgeable. They clearly overall love their job and their main concern is making sure the pet gets the proper care, from food to vaccinations to random injuries...
Everyone has been super friendly and knowledgeable. They clearly overall love their job and their main concern is making sure the pet gets the proper care, from food to vaccinations to random injuries. My dog got hurt pretty badly and thankfully we were able to get an appointment the same day. They were quick in addressing everything and even called to check up on her the next day after we took her home (she stayed overnight for observation). I highly recommend this place.

I took my sick feral cat there and the staff and doctor were very professional. Contrary to some people's experience, the Doctor (I forget his name but he looked Indian or Pakistani) was not pushy at all. He did tests in increments to keep costs down for us and called us at each step to get our approval of any further tests. Sadly my cat's problem was totally kidney failure likely due to the ingestion of anti-freeze. He gave us a realistic estimate of the costs of IV treatment and the chances of recovery (which were not good). At that point we had to make the difficult choice of euthanasia as we are very low income and can't afford a $1,500 to $2,000 vet bill (as the cat would have to be transferred to an emergency clinic). The staff gave us the option of spending as much time as we needed with our cat, but I opted for a quick farewell. The euthanasia process was explained clearly and it was all done with compassion and professionalism. I took his body home and buried him under his favorite pear tree where he liked to sleep. So while the outcome was not optimal, it was not their fault. They came across as honest and not as trying to sell us unneeded tests. Instead they were careful to only do the minimum number of tests. So we really appreciated this and would recommend them.

We had to put our poor cat down, rest in peace Johnny :( and the staff made it a horrible experience. It was after hours, and while we were saying our goodbyes to our cat, the whole staff was rushing us to get out so they could go home, we got asked if we "needed more time" almost every minute. Staff member shoving paper work at us to sign while we were in the middle of saying goodbye to our cat and just constantly being rushed. These people don't give a shit about your animals, they just want to rob you of your money and for you to get out. Will never come back to this sorry excuse for a hospital

Overall like this place..the staff is very sweet to my dogs and I feel like they give good care to them. They only very annoying part is I've now experienced TWICE that they gave me the wrong dose medications for my dogs, which freaks me out since this can cause major problems potentially. Not only did I have to catch it, but they were pretty unapologetic when I had to make a trip down there for their mistake.

Dr. Amy Toth is a treat! She knows what she is doing and adores animals. She took great care of our kitten, Rosey. The support staff are friendly and take care of business quickly. The office is clean, well organized, and up to date. All of the staff seem to work great as a team and I felt our kitten had excellent care. I would definitely recommend this clinic and their Wellness Plans.

Where should I start, we have been in an out of the vet for the last week due to allergy issues. After the 2nd day I finally demanded they do an allergy test. The vet we currently see has been great in helping trying to figure out whats going on BUT, she comes across very hateful if you don't do word for word exactly what she wants u to do. The last Banfield we went to I had 2 different vets that were not pushy and VERY understanding. For some reason this lady has issues. We have been doing everything in our power including medications to make our baby better and it just seems like she is trying to get every dead gum penny out of us possible. She wants us to put him on an 80.00 food imm which I explained, we r just like any other family out there and it will need to wait a week. Oh boy the look at got from this woman was so rude and her tone changed completely. The way I see it is, if your going to be ANY kind of doctor you need to be understanding and be nice. I'm giving her one more chance and then if she is still at it I will be taking our baby somewhere else. Like I said we have done EVERYTHING possible including demanded test that THEY never even mentioned or considered. DEF if you decide to go here DO NOT use Boon especially if you a budget.

Everyone has been super friendly and knowledgeable. They clearly overall love their job and their main concern is making sure the pet gets the proper care, from food to vaccinations to random injuries. My dog got hurt pretty badly and thankfully we were able to get an appointment the same day. They only very annoying part is I've now experienced TWICE that they gave me the wrong dose medications for my dogs, which freaks me out since this can cause major problems potentially.
