Literally just spend $500 for them to tell me my cat is entering her heat cycles. This is my first time owning a cat so I have no idea the symptoms that came with it. So when I told them my cat’s symptoms thinking she was just sick, you would figure they might suggest the possibility of a heat cycle. Instead they scare me into thinking she has an infection going on, then they call me later saying everything came back negative but now fear something else might be wrong with her and asking for more tests. Call later, Again all negative. And then when I picked her up, they tried to give me back my cat without her leash or harness, and when they find it, it was all tangled and undone. This visit was literally a waste of my time and money on incompetent people who do not know the difference between a heat cycle and an internal infection. And they overprice on spay Services.

Not worth it, they don't work well with customers, and they usually give my gparents a senior discount, they want $198 for annual for bravexto, rabies, well exam, parasite exam, annual booster, heartworm screen. And she really couldn't give me a firm price. I don't think they take acount even for seniors to be able to budget or have someone take the time to the their pet they should be more reassuring, caring, and be definite. Unless they find something else wrong they should have a price for them. The groomer is hard to pin down even if you call earlier or later they leave early. Anyone recommend another family vet with a groomer. Please leave comment below.

Although I haven't met the doc yet (my husband has) I've been so impressed with this facility. We've been here numerous times for boarding in the last few weeks because we have been prepping our house to sell, and wanted to board our dogs during showings. From booking the appointment to checking out, the process has been so easy. We've gone elsewhere for boarding and I promise that this clinic has been the most hassle free place we've been to in San Antonio. Everyone I've met there is kind and I wish I could remember everyone's names: Reagan, Cassidy and the gentleman who does the grooming are all great representatives of Ellison drive animal hospital.

Rude/Poor customer service by the manager/vet tech. Misdiagnosed my dog for $422, ended up in surgery at another clinic the following day. Vet refused to call me back or the manager never gave the message. Manager refused to give me a copy of the x-rays, telling me they would be mailed in two weeks. Dr. Erica Thornton took "care" of my dog and gave a quick 1 min diagnosis, over the phone and her recommended treatment plan. I never saw a vet face to face. They do not care for your pet, only want your money!

I dropped of my two dogs to board for 6 days. When I picked them up at about 9:30 am, one of them peed in the lobby. She is fully potty trained, and her bladder looked like it was completely full by the amount of urine on the floor. This leads me to think she hadn't been taken out yet.
My other dog had stickers caught in her hair. They were deeply matted; I had to shave her when I got her home. I understand that I did not sign them up to be groomed prior to picking up, but I thought they would at least take the stickers off of her after letting her out. She had them all over her face and paws, which I'm sure is uncomfortable. I was disappointed in my experience, and will not be boarding them here again.

The quick and dirty: The main veterinarian is fantastic, but the clinic cares about your money more than your animal's well-being and the staff are garbage.
I had taken my animals to this clinic a number of times and not a single appointment was on time. Late appointments aren't the apocalypse, but their most recent stunt is worth noting for its shadiness.
I ordered medications online (because I'm pretty sure ALL vets bump the prices of meds) and my wife was told by Munich (sp?) that they automatically cancelled the order because they didn't carry that particular medication. When I called, I was told they never received the order, but I was given the same line about not being able to write a prescription that they didn't carry. When I explained that this was one of the reasons I was purchasing online and that, if they weren't willing to write the prescription for the very legitimate medication, I would go to a different vet. At that point, Munich changed her stance saying that they COULD do it, but because they hadn't seen one of the animals (my cat), they required me to make an appointment.
Rarely have I met with such frustrations when trying to ensure the health and wellness of my animals. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Not worth it, they don't work well with customers, and they usually give my gparents a senior discount, they want $198 for annual for bravexto, rabies, well exam, parasite exam, annual booster, heartworm screen. And she really couldn't give me a firm price. I don't think they take acount even for seniors to be able to budget or have someone take the time to the their pet they should be more reassuring, caring, and be definite. Unless they find something else wrong they should have a price for them. The groomer is hard to pin down even if you call earlier or later they leave early. Anyone recommend another family vet with a groomer. Please leave comment below.

Although I haven't met the doc yet (my husband has) I've been so impressed with this facility. We've been here numerous times for boarding in the last few weeks because we have been prepping our house to sell, and wanted to board our dogs during showings. From booking the appointment to checking out, the process has been so easy. We've gone elsewhere for boarding and I promise that this clinic has been the most hassle free place we've been to in San Antonio. Everyone I've met there is kind and I wish I could remember everyone's names: Reagan, Cassidy and the gentleman who does the grooming are all great representatives of Ellison drive animal hospital.

Rude/Poor customer service by the manager/vet tech. Misdiagnosed my dog for $422, ended up in surgery at another clinic the following day. Vet refused to call me back or the manager never gave the message. Manager refused to give me a copy of the x-rays, telling me they would be mailed in two weeks. Dr. Erica Thornton took "care" of my dog and gave a quick 1 min diagnosis, over the phone and her recommended treatment plan. I never saw a vet face to face. They do not care for your pet, only want your money!

I dropped of my two dogs to board for 6 days. When I picked them up at about 9:30 am, one of them peed in the lobby. She is fully potty trained, and her bladder looked like it was completely full by the amount of urine on the floor. This leads me to think she hadn't been taken out yet.
My other dog had stickers caught in her hair. They were deeply matted; I had to shave her when I got her home. I understand that I did not sign them up to be groomed prior to picking up, but I thought they would at least take the stickers off of her after letting her out. She had them all over her face and paws, which I'm sure is uncomfortable. I was disappointed in my experience, and will not be boarding them here again.

The staff will not listen, the apts take an extremely long time. The vet herself is great although I only saw her once out of the 4 visits.

The quick and dirty: The main veterinarian is fantastic, but the clinic cares about your money more than your animal's well-being and the staff are garbage.
I had taken my animals to this clinic a number of times and not a single appointment was on time. Late appointments aren't the apocalypse, but their most recent stunt is worth noting for its shadiness.
I ordered medications online (because I'm pretty sure ALL vets bump the prices of meds) and my wife was told by Munich (sp?) that they automatically cancelled the order because they didn't carry that particular medication. When I called, I was told they never received the order, but I was given the same line about not being able to write a prescription that they didn't carry. When I explained that this was one of the reasons I was purchasing online and that, if they weren't willing to write the prescription for the very legitimate medication, I would go to a different vet. At that point, Munich changed her stance saying that they COULD do it, but because they hadn't seen one of the animals (my cat), they required me to make an appointment.
Rarely have I met with such frustrations when trying to ensure the health and wellness of my animals. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
