She is an amazing VET! You can tell she truly cares about your animal. She comes in and sits on the floor with my dog every time. She knows her name, knows her qualities and loves on her. She does't just do an exam while we are there. She spends time with us, and I truly appreciate that. She is not out to get all your money either, which is an issue I ran into. They call and check up on your animal the day after EVERY visit. They are all around, genuine people. Plus she is an Aggie so that helps. (: If you are looking for an amazing person, and an amazing Vet. Dr. Kiser is your person. She owns this practice with her sister in law who handles surgery. I love these guys! The whole team is friendly and caring. I get a call back the next day after an appointment to see how my pet is doing. PLUS they recommended Hill's Prescription Diet cat food for Misty and when I price checked with Petco, Encino Park Veterinary Clinic was CHEAPER! Have to say, I didn't expect that. :-) Read Less

great experience.  i was referred to this place from a friend and it's right by the house so i decided to try it.  my dog needed to update her shots so i called and was able to get an appt when it was convenient for me.  the staff was super friendly.  my dog got her shots, heartguard and it was suggested that she get her teeth cleaned.  it's been a while since i got her teeth cleaned so i got a quote and made an appt for her the following week.  every time i needed instructions they were very thorough so that made it easier for me.  prices were comperable to other vets in the area.   will be back. I am so happy with this place! I'm a military spouse so we move a lot and I have to find a new vet each time, which can be difficult. My dog had a small emergency so I brought him here because it was close to home and had a couple good reviews on Yelp. My experience went as follows:-I called to make an appointment at around 7am and they were able to take me as early as 9:20am - When I arrived I didn't have to wait very long at all-The vet and vet tech handled my dog so well! He's very nervous, wiggly, and can be snappy on top of being in pain and they knew exactly how to deal with him. They were very gentle and sweet with him.-In addition to examining him for what I initially brought him in for, the vet also noticed a small ear infection and cleaned his ear out and the vet tech noticed he needed his nails trimmed and she took care of that- I assumed, based on experiences with other vets, that when I brought him in they would try to run a million tests and rack up a high bill, but they did not. The vet thoroughly examined my dog and was honest and reassuring. The bill at the end was incredibly reasonable. -Everyone I saw- the ladies at the front desk, the vet techs, and the vet- were so nice! This was hands-down the best experience I've had at a vet. We have been going to this clinic for years and you will not find a more professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable vet clinic anywhere. Dr kaiser and Dr Almquist and their staff are the best!!!Note: I think the negative review on here might be for the wrong clinic because I know dozens of people who go here and none have reported a bad experience. Have been bringing the dogs to this vet for years and years,  the staff are so friendly and the pups just get so much attention, they love going!It's nice to see they haven't changed to trying to be ultra modern with Flat panel TVs and brushed aluminum decor , that seems the trend now, just a good clean environment and great customer service.The vets genuinely care for their customers, in our instance flat out refuse to prescribe a heartworm treatment that had previously had a recall on, even if is safe now, they won't take a chance - makes me feel theyre more in it for the health of the pet than the bottom dollar (can't say that about all vets!)Price wise they are about on par with their competition.Parking is a breeze, since the HEB closed down next to the clinic.  There's a few disabled spots right outside, and a little wooded area on Evans road to walk your pet before - save for any accidents inside.And on a plus, they send birthday cards to your pet and Christmas cards with a photo on the front of all the staff - a really nice touch.
