We moved right down the road from this vet clinic and from what we saw in online reviews we thought we had lucked out being so close to a decent veterinarian. We were SO wrong...We had one annual check up with Dr. Leckey who was nice and seemed to be knowledgeable, however she mentioned that to fill our prescriptions we would have to use their website. We've done this before, most vet clinics function this way. We attempted to use the website but ran into trouble because our prescription had been written incorrectly, so I called and the receptionists were completely useless and had no idea how to address any part of the problem. Not only were they not helpful, they were not the nicest and they forgot inform the Dr to rewrite our prescriptions or to call me back. The front desk staff completely dropped the ball in every way. A while later one of our dogs had an emergency situation and even though we were not impressed with Huebner Oaks on our first visit, we gave them another chance because we needed urgent care. I made an appointment waited for over an hour to see the Dr. I was alright with it because I was thankful to get an appointment on such short notice, however in total I spent THREE HOURS at the clinic before finally being able to leave. That's just ridiculous. Part of what took so long was that I was told (after having to ask what the hold up was, of course, because the front staff wouldn't never take it upon themselves to have the decency of informing patients on what is going on) that the computer system was down. Mind you, every time we have called to schedule or refill medication the computer system has somehow been "down". So instead of giving me a run down of what I will owe they said they would mail me a bill and asked for my phone number. The next day my husband gets a phone call (why even ask for my phone number if you're going to call another number anyways???) asking for payment of nearly $500! They still could not provide a break down of any specific costs and were rudely demanding payment because they claimed I had "left without paying" even though they told me to go ahead and leave and a bill would be mailed. When I called back and got a rundown of how in the world a simple appointment added up to $500 I was shocked to find that the medications they sent me home with were unnecessary and simply "precautionary", non refundable, and incredibly expensive. What the hell?!?!? When I tried to figure out what had happened and how such a major piece of information was completely left out the receptionist (not surprisingly) had no freaking clue how to answer a single question or who to ask or how to do any part of her job. She told me she would call me back with information and asked for my phone number again. Days passed and no one called me back, when I followed up I realized this was due to the receptionist never even attempting to find answers or resolve the issue in any way. I immediately brought back the unused and unopened medication and demanded a refund since I was never told of any costs associated with the prescriptions or that they were not necessary and was told they would refund me "as a favor". It's not doing me a "favor" to rip me off, to allow me to leave without being told of what I owe and then accusing me of not paying, and to not explain what any of the medications are or that they are not necessary. After all was said and done it took me weeks to get my refund and every step of the way I've had to call, remind them of the situation, and follow up with multiple employees because none of them are able to complete a task or show any regard for providing professional or decent service to their customers. If a clinic has such little regard for the kind of lazy, incompetent, and unprofessional staff they choose to employ they clearly have even less regard and concern for the patients having to deal with those employees. It is unacceptable and extremely disappointing and frustrating to have to deal with such unnecessary bullshit simply because someone can't follow through or do their job. I will never use this clinic again and will never recommend them to anyone who values their own time or money or has any concern for their pets. Any clinic that cannot function professionally cannot provide quality care for you or your pets. Read Less
