They are the absolute best! Professional, caring, and with very reasonable fees. All staff and the veterinarian showed genuine care and compassion for our elderly dog, Jax and me when I sadly brought Jax in for humane euthanasia in February, 2018. They were very gentle, relaxed, and reassuring. They gave me as much time as I needed to spend some time alone with Jax afterward and say my last goodbyes. I was kindly offered tissues for my tears without having to ask. A few days later, I received a very nice and personalized sympathy card from them. I have also experienced similar superior care on other occasions over the past several years since 2013. On every occasion, they were all just terrific. They went out of their way to take excellent care of our dog, Jinx and our cat, Zafira and also made sure that I was okay during the otherwise stressful circumstances. I give them my very highest recommendation without hesitation.

They've been here for years - 30 that I can think of, and chances are fairly high if your vet trained around here they spent some time working here. I know both my last two vets worked here before opening their own places. They offer vet services, grooming, and boarding, along with a nice selection of food and toys (no, not discount house prices, but fair). Only thing stopping me from making this my one stop is no runs in the boarding kennels. But in suckness, my pets do just fine in the area provided. See you there

I've been taking my three year old dachshund here for about two years. I've always had good experiences here. All of the staff truly care about your pet unlike some vet offices I've been to. They're never sneaky about what they're going to do and if there's an extra cost I've always been notified BEFORE they do it. Which, I appreciate SO much because I've had this happen to me before. I definitely recommend this place!

Amazing animal hospital! ALL staff are always in a good mood, upon arrival they're greeting you, along as taking a keen interest in your pet. They all make you feel welcomed and at home. The docs are great too! Answered all the questions we had about our puppy. The nice lady gave us a goodie bag to take home for my puppy and we loved EVERTHING in it. We had just moved to SA and we're not yet able to find our fur-dog a vet. Unfortunately, within our first year here he became gravely ill and it was time to make that difficult decision we all hate to make. We called around and got price quotes from several hospitals and O'Conner's was the most fairly priced. Taking in our twelve year old dog was difficult to do, but the staff here understood our pain and made the process as bearable as possible, and by offering their sympathy and condolences. Three weeks later we even received a sympathy card in the mail. This hospital was once a stranger to us but have become family since. We've now adopted a new fur baby and intend on bringing him here for ALL of his medical needs. The doctors and staff here are all knowledgeable, caring, and kind, and exactly who you'd want to entrust your furry loved ones with.

My dog was sick with vomiting and diarrhea and my usual vet was completely booked. My vet referred me to this facility for care over the weekend. Now I understand that when you are a walk in you will need to wait, but I had no idea that when the place closes and the doors are locked that my dog wasn't seen after three hours. No updates as to when I was going to be seen they just put you and your dog in a room and leave you there. If it wasn't for the nice office attendant who apologized over and over for the lateness of the vet to everyone. Needless to say my dog is still sick and this place is not a place I would EVER take my pet, they no sense of timeliness and basically everyone who walked through the door had to wait to be checked out. There are so many vets out there, you would think that this vets office would try to get it together at least for their own sake, obviously not for walk ins.

I am using our assistants logon....I'm to old for all this technology....LOL! Anyways, my wife and I adopted a mutt a few months ago and O'Connor hospital quickly got her in, bathed, examined when all the other vets appointments were a week or so out. We were anxious because of her excessive coughing which we now know is heartworms and is being treated. They have been patient in explaining everything to us. I truly love there extended hours which works easy with us working people. Finally, it is a nice feeling to know that there is always a vet there during business hours if there was ever an emergency since it appears to be a team of vets. Lastly, they are very particular about what the costs are by attempting to describe and approve each costs (which I truly appreciate of) but unless its an extraordinary cost I whole heartedly trust this office and am confident that whatever steps they take are taken because they are necessary.
In closing, very patient office, with easy hours, wonderful techs who spend time answering my concerns and great doctors.

So, there are few people I trust with those I love :) O Connor road happens to be one of them. They offer the paw plan which makes things a good bit cheaper/ budget friendly. They are also nice to deal with on the phone. I've called from things to change my appt at the last minute to see costs of follow up spots to just forgetting when my appt was and they have been polite, friendly, and helpful each and every time! I have taken everything from stray cats to my own pets into this place with nothing but good customer service and good patient care! :) I really recommend this to anyone that is looking for a home veterinarian for their pet!

I had to take my cat in to have put down...a dreaded experience for any pet owner. I was so impressed with everyone I came into contact with at O'Connor Road Animal Hospital; from the phone call to schedule the appointment, to the person signing me in and checking me out, I was highly impressed. They were tender, compassionate and kind-hearted as they dealt with my husband and I and our pet. Dr. Tomasini was the ultimate professional; knowledgeable, compassionate, and completely explained what to expect at every step of the procedure. He was so sweet to our cat; he himself pet him all the way up to the end. I would recommend anyone to this first class animal hospital and to their world class staff.

Their office is very conveniently located off of I-35 and O'Connor road, near the intersection of O'Connor and Wurzbach Parkway. The doctors and staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We have never encountered a long wait, whether for a scheduled visit or emergency. Their boarding services are also excellent. It is always difficult to leave a pet behind, but we always knew that our pets were in good hands. They treat your pet like they would their own. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for veterinary and/or boarding services.

I was kindly offered tissues for my tears without having to ask. A few days later, I received a very nice and personalized sympathy card from them. I have also experienced similar superior care on other occasions over the past several years since 2013. On every occasion, they were all just terrific. They went out of their way to take excellent care of our dog, Jinx and our cat, Zafira and also made sure that I was okay during the otherwise stressful circumstances. I give them my very highest recommendation without hesitation.

They've been here for years - 30 that I can think of, and chances are fairly high if your vet trained around here they spent some time working here. I know both my last two vets worked here before opening their own places. They offer vet services, grooming, and boarding, along with a nice selection of food and toys (no, not discount house prices, but fair). Only thing stopping me from making this my one stop is no runs in the boarding kennels. But in suckness, my pets do just fine in the area provided. See you there

I've been taking my three year old dachshund here for about two years. I've always had good experiences here. All of the staff truly care about your pet unlike some vet offices I've been to. They're never sneaky about what they're going to do and if there's an extra cost I've always been notified BEFORE they do it. Which, I appreciate SO much because I've had this happen to me before. I definitely recommend this place!

Amazing animal hospital! ALL staff are always in a good mood, upon arrival they're greeting you, along as taking a keen interest in your pet. They all make you feel welcomed and at home. The docs are great too! Answered all the questions we had about our puppy. The nice lady gave us a goodie bag to take home for my puppy and we loved EVERTHING in it. Place was recommended to me and I would definitely recommend it to someone else.

We had just moved to SA and we're not yet able to find our fur-dog a vet. Unfortunately, within our first year here he became gravely ill and it was time to make that difficult decision we all hate to make. We called around and got price quotes from several hospitals and O'Conner's was the most fairly priced. Taking in our twelve year old dog was difficult to do, but the staff here understood our pain and made the process as bearable as possible, and by offering their sympathy and condolences. Three weeks later we even received a sympathy card in the mail. This hospital was once a stranger to us but have become family since. We've now adopted a new fur baby and intend on bringing him here for ALL of his medical needs. The doctors and staff here are all knowledgeable, caring, and kind, and exactly who you'd want to entrust your furry loved ones with.

My dog was sick with vomiting and diarrhea and my usual vet was completely booked. My vet referred me to this facility for care over the weekend. Now I understand that when you are a walk in you will need to wait, but I had no idea that when the place closes and the doors are locked that my dog wasn't seen after three hours. No updates as to when I was going to be seen they just put you and your dog in a room and leave you there. If it wasn't for the nice office attendant who apologized over and over for the lateness of the vet to everyone. Needless to say my dog is still sick and this place is not a place I would EVER take my pet, they no sense of timeliness and basically everyone who walked through the door had to wait to be checked out. There are so many vets out there, you would think that this vets office would try to get it together at least for their own sake, obviously not for walk ins.

I am using our assistants logon....I'm to old for all this technology....LOL! Anyways, my wife and I adopted a mutt a few months ago and O'Connor hospital quickly got her in, bathed, examined when all the other vets appointments were a week or so out. We were anxious because of her excessive coughing which we now know is heartworms and is being treated. They have been patient in explaining everything to us. I truly love there extended hours which works easy with us working people. Finally, it is a nice feeling to know that there is always a vet there during business hours if there was ever an emergency since it appears to be a team of vets. Lastly, they are very particular about what the costs are by attempting to describe and approve each costs (which I truly appreciate of) but unless its an extraordinary cost I whole heartedly trust this office and am confident that whatever steps they take are taken because they are necessary.
In closing, very patient office, with easy hours, wonderful techs who spend time answering my concerns and great doctors.

So, there are few people I trust with those I love :) O Connor road happens to be one of them. They offer the paw plan which makes things a good bit cheaper/ budget friendly. They are also nice to deal with on the phone. I've called from things to change my appt at the last minute to see costs of follow up spots to just forgetting when my appt was and they have been polite, friendly, and helpful each and every time! I have taken everything from stray cats to my own pets into this place with nothing but good customer service and good patient care! :) I really recommend this to anyone that is looking for a home veterinarian for their pet!

I had to take my cat in to have put down...a dreaded experience for any pet owner. I was so impressed with everyone I came into contact with at O'Connor Road Animal Hospital; from the phone call to schedule the appointment, to the person signing me in and checking me out, I was highly impressed. They were tender, compassionate and kind-hearted as they dealt with my husband and I and our pet. Dr. Tomasini was the ultimate professional; knowledgeable, compassionate, and completely explained what to expect at every step of the procedure. He was so sweet to our cat; he himself pet him all the way up to the end. I would recommend anyone to this first class animal hospital and to their world class staff.

Their office is very conveniently located off of I-35 and O'Connor road, near the intersection of O'Connor and Wurzbach Parkway. The doctors and staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We have never encountered a long wait, whether for a scheduled visit or emergency. Their boarding services are also excellent. It is always difficult to leave a pet behind, but we always knew that our pets were in good hands. They treat your pet like they would their own. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for veterinary and/or boarding services.
