I called them because I was shopping around for a new vet and I have been using bansfield pet hospital. Well these people are rude. There currently aren't taking any new pets and wasn't told why. My pet is sick and you turn a sick animal away. You should be ashamed.

Dr. Striekert is the most caring and compassionate vet. She is highly knowledgeable, explains everything clearly and answers all your paranoid questions with patience. Our dog, Porkchop, has had many ailments since she was a puppy and the good Dr. has taken great care of her through all of her ordeals and surgeries. Bacon has also had to stay overnight when getting very sick. The staff is wonderful and will always greet you with a smile. Our cat never gets sick but she gets great care on her annual trips. I highly recommend this facility for your animal care needs. The prices are awesome and very affordable. Additionally, when she fixed both of our dogs you can't see any scar at all...this is not probably the first thing you worry about but it's good to know she has a skilled hand. We have been going to Dr. Striekert for almost 5 years now.

As soon as you step into the waiting room you'd swear you'd just stepped into a spa. The walls are painted a pale seafoam blue with chocolate accents and everywhere you look are pictures of happy patients (of the furry sort). It's a very cozy and calming place not only in the trappings but also when it comes to the technicians and vet as well. My family has been going to Dr. Strickert as long as I can remember and she's always been very warm and friendly with a genuine interest in our animals wellbeing. We've had quite a few animals over the years and the friendly staff, calming decor, and knowledgeable doctor make this place a true gem.
