The veterinarians are very knowledgable, caring, and thorough when examining our dogs. They take time to thoroughly explain health situations and the different options available to treat them. The staff is very helpful to pet owners' needs, gentle handling the animals, and timely when arranging/servicing appointments. Unlike several other vet clinics, they are very transparent about the costs of different treatments, and they are not pushy to sell products available in the clinic. The clinic hours are very convenient for those who cannot schedule vet appointments during weekdays. I highly recommend this animal hospital. Read Less

After my dog, Maci, was diagnosed with cancer and needed surgery to remove multiple blood-filled tumors, the surgery was preformed at Towne North by Dr. Lewis and Maci has had an excellent recovery. We have been taking our pets here for 4 years - they are wonderful and caring- not just to the pets but the owners too. Recently we lost one of our pets and I don't think I could have made it through without their care and kind words and actions. I found a pet once and they helped me for free find the pets owner and called them and were willing to hold the animal until the owner could get them. This place no matter who you are talking to are very efficient as well as provide great customer service and care. Staff and Vets alike. (Dr. Beggs is our favorite though). Read Less

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful our visit was. I brought my Rottweiler, Lucian, in for his first visit. We were welcomed with warm and open arms. They were so sweet and understood my concern for his nervousness/fear because this was our first time there and he doesn't really do well with change or strangers. My dog absolutely loved Dr. Begge and his amazing staff!!! He even gave the doctor a hug before we left! We can't wait to see the amazing staff here again! We thank you!!Read Less

At first when I pulled into the parking lot I thought, "Oh no!" It's in a strip mall and from the outside doesn't look very big or flashy. The moment I walked in the front door though all my hesitancy went away. Right at the front door was a marquee welcoming my dog to his first visit! The staff were extremely friendly and very complimentary of my dog. I mean, who doesn't like their dog oooh and ahhhed over? The wait time wasn't overly long. The doctor was very thorough and answered all my questions without seeming like she had to hurry and get to her next patient. Check out was a snap and for once I didn't pay an arm and a leg. Later that day the doctor emailed me a nutrition plan for my dog based on the food that I already feed him rather than trying to sway me to buy their food. Overall I am extremely pleased with Towne North Animal Hospital and have already scheduled my dog to be groomed this week!!!Read Less

This Animal Hospital is corrupt. My cat was recently diagnosed with Kidney issues and has to take fluids every other day. I initially got the medicine from them but I needed to get a new bag of fluids and decided to look around for a better deal. This place charges about $40 for a bag of 1000ml but I found them online at Drs Foster and Smith Pharmacy for about $30. The best part is that is a 3 pack for a total of 3000ml. No one in their right mind will get them from Towne North Animal Hospital. At this time I called Towne North to let them know that I need to pick up a bag and a written prescription for it. The receptionist indicated that she would put in the request for both and call me back when its complete. 5 hours later they called me to let me know the bag of fluids was ready for pickup but they didn't mention anything about the written prescription. At this point I made sure I brought it up, the receptionist first said that my doctor wasn't in and that was the reason why they couldn't write. I then asked if I can go the next day when she is there to get to it but then she said they woulnd't write it because they want to make sure my cat gets the correct amount. I argued this with the reception for a little bit but then talked to the other doctor at the hospital and she reinforced same thing the receptionist indicated. Their justification was that they wanted to ensure my cat got the right amount which didn't make any sense because I am the one that administers the fluids, no new blood work was going to be completed to determine his creatinine levels, nor was he going to be seen by a vet every two weeks just to get a new bag. The doctor then decided to question why I needed the prescription since I still had to go to a vet and get the fluids but I quickly told her that I was going to order it online for a much better and reasonable price. From the beginning of this call I new the real reason why they didn't want to comply with my request but of course they aren't up front with the real reason and want to take as much money as they can from me. I DO NOT TRUST this hospital and WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

Love this vet office! Came to them today because the vet I previously used was not able to get me in and my pup needed to see a vet asap. They got me in last minute and the staff is great from front office to back they are very friendly and give you the feeling that they truly care about the well being of your fur baby and not like your just a number I will definitely be using them as my vet from now on thank you for the exceptional care and kindness town north!
