Beware , completely unprofessional, if you ask a question about a bill that is for services not rendered you will be dismissed!!! Rude, they will tell you they will call you back, if you have any type of brains and question them then you are the bad person you will not get a call back instead you will receive a lovely written reply stating you should seek another Vet. Do not recommend there are many Vets out there that care and truly have a passion for what they do and care about continuing a good relationship with customers that are good. Awesome vets. They really care about your animals. And their mobile clinic is a godsend. I've used it already for a senior reclusive cat and a feral i rescued. Even now I have senior animals including 2 very big dogs and I know the time will come when I can't get them in the car. This is a real asset. Read Less

Very helpful receptionist, truly passionate technicians and a general love for animals in the atmosphere. Worked as a technician here and the animals are very well taken care of by the staff, and monitored extremely well under anesthesia. Life took me on a different route in the future, but can safely say some very caring people do treat your animals with love and respect. Read Less

Worse veterinarian clinic ever! First of all, you will be misquoted prices and surprised with extra charges. Read the Yelp reviews as well as here. I finally woke up after getting gouged on the last visit. Not only did my vet bill decrease significantly, the meds my dog was getting are now $20.00 cheaper per perscription. They also aspirated my little dog's lump and it took me 3 times to get a vet to talk to me and even return a phone call. Do your homework. This place is a scam. Read Less

I have to say, Traveling Tails never disappoints. Today my pup was ill and they took great care of her. The doc recommended a special food while her body works to get better. We didn't get the food when we left so I called them 6 minutes before closing. They told me that Charli HAD to have this food and I couldn't buy it anywhere. I mentioned that there was NO way that we could make it there before morning. To my surprise, one of the Vet Techs volunteered to drive the food to my house!! Yes-- deliver the food. Reconsider going here. Run down vet with nothing to offer over others in the area. The technology they use is outdated, the front staff is rude and the vets act like they couldn't care less about your pets (but very much do care about the money - sneaking in "treatments" that you never asked for seems to be the norm). Why go into the vet business if you do not like animals? My wife used to take her cats here but we eventually had enough of the bad quality and rudeness/apathetic attitude. Read Less

They will come to you for an additional $50! That is well worth it for my carrier phobic cat. I have used them for 10 years and love all the Vets and staff. They are very helpful explaining treatments and different options. They referred me to a online vet pharmacy for my cat's long term pain killers and pancreatitis chews to save me travel time and money.Read Less

This Veterinary clinic is all about making money. I took my dog in because of hip dysplasia. They prescribed an NSAID (previcox). Now this is going to be ongoing for my dog's lifetime. At their cost (over $4 a Tablet) this would become an expensive proposition. Online I can buy it in bulk for just over $2 a tablet. When asked for a prescription (I was upfront with the reason), they would only give me one for 28 tablets. This made it useless for my purpose. I'm simply trying to my dog's last couple of years comfortable and yet not break the bank. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET CLINIC. They don't care about the animals, JUST THEIR PROFIT. Read Less

This clinic is expensive and they nickel and dime you to death. They charge for bandage/wraps after already charging for the treatment! They just examined my cat and vaccinated her and three weeks later when a booster vaccine was due they wanted to charge me again for an exam. Dr. Dumas is very pleasant. Read Less

We have used Traveling Tails for years for our toy poodle. The entire staff is consistently professional, friendly & attentive to me & my dog. They have always gone the extra mile & go over & beyond while our dog is in their care. Dr. Tommack is thorough in her examinations and has provided our dog with quality care. I have taken my dog to Traveling Tails (TT) for years. I always thought this place was a good mid-level vet, meaning not fancy but a solid practice that does what needs to be done at a fair price. My only complaint up until now was that they pulled a tooth that did not necessarily need to be pulled during a surgery, which ticked me off but the honesty of the vet and my previous experiences with them were enough to keep me as a customer up until now. The vet at TT has, up until now, always filled a prescription for my dog through PetMeds. She has always given me a hard time about it because she wants me to buy the meds from her practice but has always filled it after I have declined to purchase it from her (for a years supply I save about $50 so its worth it to me). On my latest checkup (which was $550) for some antibiotics, blood tests and prescription refill I was given a VERY hard time about getting the prescription to be filled by PetMeds, but as usual the vet agreed and gave me the script (except this time for only a few months supply when I had previously gotten a year's supply). When I tried to fill my prescription through PetMeds as we agreed to, the vet from TT called me to tell me she would not be filling it and that I needed to purchase the meds from TT. I have spent at least 5k at this place and they won't let me save a few dollars by purchasing my dogs meds through PetMeds? It looks like I need to find a new vet and if you order your pet's meds through PetMeds definitely steer clear of this place. While I understand that every practice needs to be profitable they should allow their PAYING and LOYAL customers a choice in where they purchase their meds from. I mean how would you feel if your own doctor told you the only way you could get your prescription filled was to purchase it through their own pharmacy at a mark-up verses going through Walgreens or CVS? I began using Traveling tails because they were simply close to my apt. However, I stayed with them because they were professional, competitively priced and most importantly I felt they truly had a bond with my Trax. Now that I have moved from the SA area, I am having a difficult time trying to find another vet provides everythiing that traveling tails provided... professionally and emotionally. For annual visits I am still actually contemplating making the 1 1/2 hr trip to take Trax back to them!!! Miss you guys! Read Less
