I want to take a moment and thank Dr. Lewis and the entire staff at VCA Henderson Pass for taking such wonderful and loving care of my boxer Laila who was in my life and their's for four years. Not only were they wonderful and caring, but they made me feel like Laila and I were very much a part of their family.
Laila is gone now, but on the day of her departure from this earth it was such an incredible feeling of warmth and comfort to be surrounded by the staff and Dr. Lewis. There was not a dry eye at Henderson pass that day, and something I will never forget.
Thank you to Dr Lewis, Cathy, Lisa, Stuart, Mary, Kristin, Desiree, Kathy and Liz. This is the most amazing group of people I have ever met. My apologies if I left anyone out. I love you all!!!

I love this vet! They have taken excellent care of all of our dogs. They are very compassionate and really care to get to know you. It may be a chain but the staff makes it feel like a small town vet....
I love this vet! They have taken excellent care of all of our dogs. They are very compassionate and really care to get to know you. It may be a chain but the staff makes it feel like a small town vet. I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Every time I take my dogs in, they call a couple days later to check on them and see how things are going, even if they just came in for shots.
I also love that they have updated technology. I don't have to worry about forgetting my appointment because they email it to me so I can add it to my calendar.

We have been taking our dogs here for the past 4 years. At first they were great and we liked them alot. But the last 4 visits we have been kept waiting for over 45 min past our appointment time while...
We have been taking our dogs here for the past 4 years. At first they were great and we liked them alot. But the last 4 visits we have been kept waiting for over 45 min past our appointment time while others with later appointments are seen first. When we asked about getting our dogs prescriptions so we can get them threw 1800petmeds they said that that would be fine and no problem. But when time came to them giving the prescription it was worse than pulling teeth. Come to find out that that is where they get there meds and mark them up $80. We finally had to have petmeds call them up for us. Then today we took it our resently adopted dog. He was severely beaten by his previous owner and has a problem with people he doesn't know. This dog is also in training to be a service dog for ptsd. When told that we had to be in there with him because of his past. The tech said no and that she didn't need to be told any information about him. Then she grabbed the leash and took him to the scale she literally pushed him side ways onto it. Then she pushed on his butt with all her weight to make him sit (which he didn't ) she didn't even tell him to sit. My wife walked up and gave him a handsignal and he sat right down. We were really disappointed in the way our dog was teated especially a service dog. Everyone there was really rude and we are very disappointed in them I definitely would not recommend them to anybody. In fact we are pulling all three of our dogs out of there and going to find another vet.

I take my two cats to this clinic because it is the first clinic I've been to where the vet techs do not handle my cat like a piece of annoying luggage. The front staff is always very nice! Also, because I am strapped for cash being a college student, they always tell me upfront whatever costs are going to happen. Could I go somewhere slightly cheaper? Sure! Is it worth it? I don't think so.

As much as we'd like to think pet hospitals are here for the single purpose of making our doggies and kitties feel better, the truth is they are a business. A business that forgets a customer is in the waiting room, keeping them waiting for 50 minutes, while they serve other customers who have LATER appointments is unacceptable. That is bad business. Bad business loses potentially great customers. The place was very clean and looked well maintained. The ability to organize their appointments was not up to the same standard. I politely told them that it was unacceptable and left.

I want to take a moment and thank Dr. Lewis and the entire staff at VCA Henderson Pass for taking such wonderful and loving care of my boxer Laila who was in my life and their's for four years. It may be a chain but the staff makes it feel like a small town vet. I will never take my dogs anywhere else.
