Negative Stars...DO NOT GO HERE. Dishonest, theiving, morally bankrupt location. The ground it sits on will give your animal disease let alone the technicians own pet leaking worms from it's butt. Your animal will NOT be treated proper here, nor will you. Like everyone else here, we were overcharged and our pet continued to suffer after his misdiagnoses that we overpaid for. I am an ex-employee and he stole my last pay check saying it was for care for my cat (the misdiagnoses), which was the second visit for the same problem because of misdiagnoses. He should be sanctioned for everyone that he has stolen from. I have since taken my pet for proper care at a real vet. Ck it out....Heritage Vet Hospital.

We have been going to Park Place Pet Hospital since 2002. Dr. Holbrook and staff are always friendly, kind and considerate. Owning a pet is a responsibility and you will incur some expense. The review by the cat owner complaining about a $90 bill is ridiculous. How do you think a business stays open, providing free care ?
We also have used Park Place for grooming our pets. Their groomers do the best job as we have tried other places.
If you live in the Southlake/Grapevine area I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Park Place for all your veterinary and pet grooming needs.

Holbrook has been our vet for over 10 years. Initially we found him when our dog needed a particular hip surgery, and he was one of only two vets that had performed the surgery after I called around eight different vets. Further, his price for said surgery was half of the other place.
We recently lost our dog, and I truly feel like Holbrook and the entire staff cared about her. My parents (Decatur) and brother (Dallas) drive all the way to Southlake for their family dogs.

Strongly do NOT recommend: We took our healthy puppy in for grooming. 8 hours later she was ready. The next day she became very ill and we rushed her to the emergency room. This vet was notified by the hospital AND a call, as well as a personal visit from us to discuss what happened at their office.. The vet refused to even speak to us much less cover the $750 plus fees we incurred because we took our puppy here for a haircut!!! We are reporting this to the appropriate veterinary society. Fortunately our puppy survived because we had the instincts and financial ability to seek help elsewhere.

Brought healthy labradoodle puppy in for grooming and was told she had an ear infection. When I got her back she was sick, vomiting and completely dehydrated in less than 8 hours of bringing her home. After checking her ears, I found that the canals were never cleaned or plucked even after they told me she had an infection. I called the vet this morning and my call was never returned. The groomer mandated that I have my dog In before 9:00am but didn't start working on her until after 4:00 pm. Apparently during that time she picked up a virus not associated with an ear infection during her stay. This is how I was treated after going here for 10 years and 2 dogs. You would think the vet would at least call back.We had to take her to Animal Emergency Hospital in Grapevine Thanksgiving night to get her fluids as her condition deteriorated with high fever. They are helping nurse her out of the woods. Park Place Animal Hospital is more interested profiting selling meds than diagnosing the problem and will charge you full cost unless calling them on it.

Absolutely fantastic ! Dr Holbrook came to my house because my Carlos was so sick and about to die , I had taken him to another vet that does neuter/spay if you have shelter kitties ( mine are) and the next day he was dehydrated and wouldn't eat and had a terribly high fever.... Two days .... I called and Dr. Holbrook made him feel better by the very next day . Gave him meds for appetite, fluid, antibiotics and even came by the house to check and give further attention if needed . They have gone above and beyond their jobs .I have never seen such personal care or concern for my kitties in my life .... . I have to say in my opinion if your not happy with the care here you probably won't be happy anywhere! They are genuinely good people and great communication. Thank you Dr Holbrook for saving carlos life !!

My Boston terrier had an awful skin condition that caused him to scratch until he ripped his skin open. I took him to multiple banfield locations and they all gave him different medication, none of which helped. When we came to this veterinarian, he explained to us what exactly was happening with my dog and prescribed us the correct medicine that got him to stop scratching within 24 hours. Keep in mind this had been an issue for almost 6 months. We were prescribed two different medicines and a shampoo, all of which was cheaper than the one medication that didn't even work from banfield. The veterinarian took his time and answered all my questions. I will recommend this place to everyone I know!

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star.Here is why:1. We are first time German Shepherd puppy owners. We have two girls. We brought them here because my fiancé had used them before. When we first walked in no on said hi. They said to just fill out these forms. So, we did. Then we waited and waited. They finally told us to go into this room where we waited and waited. Finally the vet walked in and she put one up on the table. She didn't try to get to know the puppies or ourselves. She didn't ask about their history or anything. She just said what do you need? I said we needed the next round of shots. 2. Then she started to say we needed this and this and this. When I asked why she said because it's recommended. That's all. Since we were new puppy owners I said okay. We want them best for them and don't want them to be sick. 3. SHE DIDNT EXPLAIN ANYTHING TO US. I was trying to ask questions but since we had two puppies it was hard to get them answered. She didn't even try to sit down with one of us and explain what she was doing or how much it costs.4. We go to pay the bill and it's almost $600.00. I about hit the floor. I realize it's probably my own fault that I didn't ask how much but she knew we were new at this AND THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF US! 5. They didn't call the day after to see how the puppies were doing. They literally have each of them 7 different types of medication and they didn't call.6. I took their papers back in to get updated and they had me leave them there because the vet wasn't there. I came back today and they had lost the papers. Once they found them it took them 30 minutes to fill out. The vet didn't even come out to see how they were doing! AWFUL PLACE!

I have been using this Hospital for over a decade since they were in a small shopping center location in Grapevine. After I moved a distance away I still bring my pets to them for all their care (& grooming). The Dr's there are top notch. One of the Veterinarians is a Diplomate & board - certified in canine & feline practice. While they always recommend the absolute best diagnostics & treatment, there have been times I could not afford it. They are understanding to my pets needs & my financial status & have always been able to offer less expensive options for their care. Over the years, they have literally saved the life of of few of my babies & sadly had to euthanize two of my very ill seniors. By the next day, I received a card & a plant conveying their deepest sympathy. I have never seen a pet hospital with a more caring staff. In my humble opinion, you couldn't find a better group of professionals to care for members of your family! I highly recommend them!

Not only would I take my pets there but I would take my children too. So clean & SMELLS GOOD TOO! The receptionists were super friendly & the Dr.'s are most helpful. I found them through a humane society & I had a discount coupon for a spay/neuter. They called me immediately after the surgery (they could see how worried I was). They also called me the next day to make sure she was ok & I didn't have any questions or concerns. I will start bringing all my pets to Dr. Holbrook & Dr. Key. They are great! **********IMPORTANT NOTE********** I asked them about the low rating on this site & they told me a negative review was posted by a disgruntle employee they had to let go due to attitude & language on the job.

I've been bringing my pets here for years (2 cats and 1 dog) and have always been impressed with the staff, they are very helpful, and the doctors are always willing to talk to me and explain a diagnosis if it's complicated...and I mean actually explain it in english...not in doctor language. Most of the staff has been there as long as I've been taking my pets there... very low turnover rate. Would recomend this place to all my firends :)

Went here after adopting my cat and wanted the best vet for him. The adoption agency gave me this as the vet he had gone to for shots and check ups so I decided to stick with it. The first time I went for his check up exam the vet seemed to mention how he needed things checked and informed me that it was an extra fee for every little thing. I was at a loss for what to do. They deemed him good health and we left. Turns out he had all these problems and more but they simply did NOT do their job. Had to come back several times! they never asked the right questions nor did they take time to look at the problems in full detail. And talk about overpriced, they most certainly are. Just when you think your total is it, they slap on office visit charge of $40 on top of what you had. Ridiculous!

I was so fortunate to stumble upon this veterinary hospital. I have two dogs and two cats, and have been a regular client there for three years. The doctors really take time to research each individual case. One of the doctors even stayed after hours to take time to look at my dog! I am amazed at the compassion the staff shows towards the pets, and will gladly continue to take all my critters there.

I used to work there and talk about an uncaring vet or even friendly at that. I have autism and he just did not seem to like someone with a dissability after 9 months of working there I finally quit. He had me crying numerous times because I thought he did not like me and I so bad wanted to work somewhere and not feel the pain like that. I am not in it for money. I love working with animals. The groomer was great and so was the other kennel worker and receptionist. The female vet is nice to that when I took my animals there I just saw her but there office fee is outrageous even with my 50% discount it was still over $200 just for shots. I now groom on my own and have my own business and I rescue and foster dogs now too. If interested just call me anytime 817-443-8769

I am extremely impressed with the superior service I have received with my pet at this clinic. My little Nathan has been to many different vets in his 7 years, but none compare to the quality of care I have received from Dr. Holbrook, and Dr. Key. The staff was extremely friendly, and helped answer any questions I had. The doctors both have invested a lot of time and effort into making my little Nathan a happy, healthy pet. I strongly recommend this clinic to any ""dog or cat parent"" out there.

From the time we walked in we had nothing but problems. The office staff was rude and didn't communicate well. Prices were ridiculous. The main problem with the prices were that there were tons of hidden fees that were not presented up front. They tried to sell you every single thing and service in the office, which is frustrating. I was supposed to get my kitten fixed for free through forever friends, but my bill was over 90 dollars because of their hidden fesIt seemed like all they cared about was money and not pets. I will never go here again now that I have fufullied my forever friends services

Very unfriendly staff, complains about snyp coupons and then charges extra to make up for coupon. Most vets charge an additional 25-35 dollars for in heat but this vet will charge you 71.00. Have a cat roaming around so makes your pet upset if they do not like other cats. The price I got quoted was 160.00 ended up being $225. I could have went to my regular vet for that and had better quality care. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!!!!!

Negative Stars...DO NOT GO HERE. Dishonest, theiving, morally bankrupt location. The ground it sits on will give your animal disease let alone the technicians own pet leaking worms from it's butt. Your animal will NOT be treated proper here, nor will you. Like everyone else here, we were overcharged and our pet continued to suffer after his misdiagnoses that we overpaid for. I am an ex-employee and he stole my last pay check saying it was for care for my cat (the misdiagnoses), which was the second visit for the same problem because of misdiagnoses. He should be sanctioned for everyone that he has stolen from. I have since taken my pet for proper care at a real vet. Ck it out....Heritage Vet Hospital.

We have been going to Park Place Pet Hospital since 2002. Dr. Holbrook and staff are always friendly, kind and considerate. Owning a pet is a responsibility and you will incur some expense. The review by the cat owner complaining about a $90 bill is ridiculous. How do you think a business stays open, providing free care ?
We also have used Park Place for grooming our pets. Their groomers do the best job as we have tried other places.
If you live in the Southlake/Grapevine area I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Park Place for all your veterinary and pet grooming needs.

Holbrook has been our vet for over 10 years. Initially we found him when our dog needed a particular hip surgery, and he was one of only two vets that had performed the surgery after I called around eight different vets. Further, his price for said surgery was half of the other place.
We recently lost our dog, and I truly feel like Holbrook and the entire staff cared about her. My parents (Decatur) and brother (Dallas) drive all the way to Southlake for their family dogs.

Strongly do NOT recommend: We took our healthy puppy in for grooming. 8 hours later she was ready. The next day she became very ill and we rushed her to the emergency room. This vet was notified by the hospital AND a call, as well as a personal visit from us to discuss what happened at their office.. The vet refused to even speak to us much less cover the $750 plus fees we incurred because we took our puppy here for a haircut!!! We are reporting this to the appropriate veterinary society. Fortunately our puppy survived because we had the instincts and financial ability to seek help elsewhere.

Brought healthy labradoodle puppy in for grooming and was told she had an ear infection. When I got her back she was sick, vomiting and completely dehydrated in less than 8 hours of bringing her home. After checking her ears, I found that the canals were never cleaned or plucked even after they told me she had an infection. I called the vet this morning and my call was never returned. The groomer mandated that I have my dog In before 9:00am but didn't start working on her until after 4:00 pm. Apparently during that time she picked up a virus not associated with an ear infection during her stay. This is how I was treated after going here for 10 years and 2 dogs. You would think the vet would at least call back.We had to take her to Animal Emergency Hospital in Grapevine Thanksgiving night to get her fluids as her condition deteriorated with high fever. They are helping nurse her out of the woods. Park Place Animal Hospital is more interested profiting selling meds than diagnosing the problem and will charge you full cost unless calling them on it.

Absolutely fantastic ! Dr Holbrook came to my house because my Carlos was so sick and about to die , I had taken him to another vet that does neuter/spay if you have shelter kitties ( mine are) and the next day he was dehydrated and wouldn't eat and had a terribly high fever.... Two days .... I called and Dr. Holbrook made him feel better by the very next day . Gave him meds for appetite, fluid, antibiotics and even came by the house to check and give further attention if needed . They have gone above and beyond their jobs .I have never seen such personal care or concern for my kitties in my life .... . I have to say in my opinion if your not happy with the care here you probably won't be happy anywhere! They are genuinely good people and great communication. Thank you Dr Holbrook for saving carlos life !!

My Boston terrier had an awful skin condition that caused him to scratch until he ripped his skin open. I took him to multiple banfield locations and they all gave him different medication, none of which helped. When we came to this veterinarian, he explained to us what exactly was happening with my dog and prescribed us the correct medicine that got him to stop scratching within 24 hours. Keep in mind this had been an issue for almost 6 months. We were prescribed two different medicines and a shampoo, all of which was cheaper than the one medication that didn't even work from banfield. The veterinarian took his time and answered all my questions. I will recommend this place to everyone I know!

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star.Here is why:1. We are first time German Shepherd puppy owners. We have two girls. We brought them here because my fiancé had used them before. When we first walked in no on said hi. They said to just fill out these forms. So, we did. Then we waited and waited. They finally told us to go into this room where we waited and waited. Finally the vet walked in and she put one up on the table. She didn't try to get to know the puppies or ourselves. She didn't ask about their history or anything. She just said what do you need? I said we needed the next round of shots. 2. Then she started to say we needed this and this and this. When I asked why she said because it's recommended. That's all. Since we were new puppy owners I said okay. We want them best for them and don't want them to be sick. 3. SHE DIDNT EXPLAIN ANYTHING TO US. I was trying to ask questions but since we had two puppies it was hard to get them answered. She didn't even try to sit down with one of us and explain what she was doing or how much it costs.4. We go to pay the bill and it's almost $600.00. I about hit the floor. I realize it's probably my own fault that I didn't ask how much but she knew we were new at this AND THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF US! 5. They didn't call the day after to see how the puppies were doing. They literally have each of them 7 different types of medication and they didn't call.6. I took their papers back in to get updated and they had me leave them there because the vet wasn't there. I came back today and they had lost the papers. Once they found them it took them 30 minutes to fill out. The vet didn't even come out to see how they were doing! AWFUL PLACE!

I have been using this Hospital for over a decade since they were in a small shopping center location in Grapevine. After I moved a distance away I still bring my pets to them for all their care (& grooming). The Dr's there are top notch. One of the Veterinarians is a Diplomate & board - certified in canine & feline practice. While they always recommend the absolute best diagnostics & treatment, there have been times I could not afford it. They are understanding to my pets needs & my financial status & have always been able to offer less expensive options for their care. Over the years, they have literally saved the life of of few of my babies & sadly had to euthanize two of my very ill seniors. By the next day, I received a card & a plant conveying their deepest sympathy. I have never seen a pet hospital with a more caring staff. In my humble opinion, you couldn't find a better group of professionals to care for members of your family! I highly recommend them!

Not only would I take my pets there but I would take my children too. So clean & SMELLS GOOD TOO! The receptionists were super friendly & the Dr.'s are most helpful. I found them through a humane society & I had a discount coupon for a spay/neuter. They called me immediately after the surgery (they could see how worried I was). They also called me the next day to make sure she was ok & I didn't have any questions or concerns. I will start bringing all my pets to Dr. Holbrook & Dr. Key. They are great! **********IMPORTANT NOTE********** I asked them about the low rating on this site & they told me a negative review was posted by a disgruntle employee they had to let go due to attitude & language on the job.

I've been bringing my pets here for years (2 cats and 1 dog) and have always been impressed with the staff, they are very helpful, and the doctors are always willing to talk to me and explain a diagnosis if it's complicated...and I mean actually explain it in english...not in doctor language. Most of the staff has been there as long as I've been taking my pets there... very low turnover rate. Would recomend this place to all my firends :)

Went here after adopting my cat and wanted the best vet for him. The adoption agency gave me this as the vet he had gone to for shots and check ups so I decided to stick with it. The first time I went for his check up exam the vet seemed to mention how he needed things checked and informed me that it was an extra fee for every little thing. I was at a loss for what to do. They deemed him good health and we left. Turns out he had all these problems and more but they simply did NOT do their job. Had to come back several times! they never asked the right questions nor did they take time to look at the problems in full detail. And talk about overpriced, they most certainly are. Just when you think your total is it, they slap on office visit charge of $40 on top of what you had. Ridiculous!

I was so fortunate to stumble upon this veterinary hospital. I have two dogs and two cats, and have been a regular client there for three years. The doctors really take time to research each individual case. One of the doctors even stayed after hours to take time to look at my dog! I am amazed at the compassion the staff shows towards the pets, and will gladly continue to take all my critters there.

I used to work there and talk about an uncaring vet or even friendly at that. I have autism and he just did not seem to like someone with a dissability after 9 months of working there I finally quit. He had me crying numerous times because I thought he did not like me and I so bad wanted to work somewhere and not feel the pain like that. I am not in it for money. I love working with animals. The groomer was great and so was the other kennel worker and receptionist. The female vet is nice to that when I took my animals there I just saw her but there office fee is outrageous even with my 50% discount it was still over $200 just for shots. I now groom on my own and have my own business and I rescue and foster dogs now too. If interested just call me anytime 817-443-8769

I am extremely impressed with the superior service I have received with my pet at this clinic. My little Nathan has been to many different vets in his 7 years, but none compare to the quality of care I have received from Dr. Holbrook, and Dr. Key. The staff was extremely friendly, and helped answer any questions I had. The doctors both have invested a lot of time and effort into making my little Nathan a happy, healthy pet. I strongly recommend this clinic to any ""dog or cat parent"" out there.

From the time we walked in we had nothing but problems. The office staff was rude and didn't communicate well. Prices were ridiculous. The main problem with the prices were that there were tons of hidden fees that were not presented up front. They tried to sell you every single thing and service in the office, which is frustrating. I was supposed to get my kitten fixed for free through forever friends, but my bill was over 90 dollars because of their hidden fesIt seemed like all they cared about was money and not pets. I will never go here again now that I have fufullied my forever friends services

Very unfriendly staff, complains about snyp coupons and then charges extra to make up for coupon. Most vets charge an additional 25-35 dollars for in heat but this vet will charge you 71.00. Have a cat roaming around so makes your pet upset if they do not like other cats. The price I got quoted was 160.00 ended up being $225. I could have went to my regular vet for that and had better quality care. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!!!!!
