Great cat only vet. Best I've ever seen. Dr McManis is incredible. My old tonkinese was in renal failure but needed surgery on a leg he had damaged which is a big risk when in renal failure. But Dr McManis pulled him through perfectly and his knee healed up just fine. Staff is also top notch. Read Less

AWFUL and OVERPRICED!! Unfortunately, my cat had been a patient at Just Cats for years and being my first experience with a vet and not knowing better I thought the crazy high prices and awful service was normal. Recently, I took my cat there for urination issues and pain. They knew immediately what his diagnosis was and that they did not have the overnight facilities to properly care for him. However, they insisted that they perform an exam, testing and begin treatment while explaining that I would probably have to drive him to an vet ER after spending thousands, yes thousands! of dollars at Just Cats for one day of care. They had kept him overnight with no supervision and a clogged catheter that resulted in a painfully engorged bladder the next morning. After the minimal (and cruel) treatment our cat received there for over $1,400, I took him home in worse condition than he was to begin with. Then, when we shared our experience with our coworkers, they told us that Just Cats was the worst vet in The Woodlands and we were referred to the Bear Branch Animal Hospital where our cat was given excellent care at a reasonable price and came home happy. The information they shared with me about keeping my aging kitty healthy, the sweet care they gave her and the clean, first class facility are the most positive qualities of my experience today. Tried to charge me several hundred dollars to run blood work on a kitten that the vet said had potentially fatal condition. I declined the expensive blood work and was charged as a second opinion instead of as new patient. I paid and left and never intended to return for any services again. Soon after, I was sent a letter from the vet stating that since I declined the dr's request for blood work, and decided to leave before the "completion of services", that the "dr-client relationship" was terminated...I have never seen anything like this in my life, but that was my experience there. I was very impressed as soon as I walked in. I was greeted warmly and taken to a room right away for my Maxwell. The staff was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. I have been coming to Just Cats for 6 years. They have helped my 7 cats with everything from regular visits, urgent issues, and to minor surgeries for our little cat Cache. They have helped us through difficult times when we lost a cat to disease. Their compassion and commitment to cats and their parents is surpassed by none. The office staff, technicians, vet assistants and even the staff most don't see are the most amazing team and they are all true animal lovers. The Doctors are not cowboys and they know their limitations (which are few) and have referred us to a few specialty surgeons and specialized services. My cat was diagnosed with Mega Colon and my usual vet had no success and we even went to any expensive "speciality" vet with no results. Just Cats were AMAZING! Our rescue cat, Gidget, came to us with congenital GI problems. She has been with Just Cats for 5 years now and they take very good care of her. Her situation can be very unpredictable and we feel extremely comfortable boarding her at Just Cats when we travel. The staff know her, her issues and her picky, spoiled little ways! The doctors and staff at Just Cats are the best. They are responsive, caring and as concerned about the health of my cat as I am. They call and email checking on the status of my cat's recovery on a daily basis. They even take the extra time to listen to my over protective/overly concerned questions and comments. My cat had an ear infection I was not sure what to do with. My old doctor was not very helpful and did not give my cat the attention he needed. I was told about Dr. Kira Ramdas in The Woodlands and made the drive to have her see my cat. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and gentle with my cat. This is the best place to go if you have cat specific issues! My cat has been chewing on his belly for 4 years. I took him to his regular vet and she had me change his diet, his environment, his bedding, give more enrichment, even tried Prozac to help him stop chewing on himself. I finally took him to Dr. Folger and he gave him an injection which completely took the itchyness away! He's been cleared up for a year. AMAZING! I will never go anywhere else again. I took my cat here for his neuter surgery. The vet did an excellent job. My cat healed very quickly and there were no problems whatsoever. I got him back the same day and he seemed fine. The staff was extremely professional and timely. The receptionist made an extra effort to get me an appointment on the day I needed. The downside: I found the vet to be a little bit insensitive to my questions. I was worried about the surgery, and wanted to make sure I understood all the risks, but the vet didn't seem to want to spend much time answering my questions (note, I didn't expect more than a few minutes). He quickly said it was ""a very routine surgery,"" and that was that. When you pay extra to go to a stand out clinic instead of a pet hospital, this is the courtesy one expects. However, no complaints from a ""technical"" standpoint. On a positive note, the vet tech was extremely courteous and was amenable to my questions. Call me a crazy cat lady, but I love my pets to death and never want to put them through any pain! Read Less

I really had a great experience with this vet. I left my previous vet because the receptionist was horrible at returning my calls and rude. I called this vet and was able to get pricing for an examination, tests, vaccines. I scheduled an appointment and met with Dr. Addleman. I thought she was excellent and thorough. I was treated rather rudely by the receptionist and the doctor couldn't wait to tell me how great he was and to rattle of some list of his accomplishments. He didn't seem interested in my cat and I don't think he listened to my concerns. The bill was absolutely outrageous and I would not go back again! I have been going to Memorial Cat Hospital for 3 years and my cats (total of 4) have been treated with gentleness and compassion during each visit. The staff members are very attentive and truely take the time to get to know each cats personality, the good and the bad. I also board my cats often, they have great condos with sleeping perches, and each time I pick them up I get a daily log on how they did. I would trust all the doctors with my babies. I would however avoid saturday appointments, they tend to be crazy. Read Less

I was very pleased with the care my two Siamese cats received at MCH recently. My regular veterinary clinic was unable to provide my kitties with any long term care solutions, as they both have complicated medical conditions. Dr. Pittari has been instrumental in determining exactly what combination of treatments would bring about the best outcome in each case. I truly appreciate her frank, but caring attitude. When I first stepped into the Memorial Cat Hospital, immediately there was a smiling face waiting to greet me. I was asked many doting questions about my sick cat and the other cats that i own. Being a new client, it was very refreshing. Also, being an animal rescuer for many years and having been to dozens of veterinary practices, I was very pleased with the service and knowledge the Memorial Cat Hospital offered. When I went into the exam room, to my suprise, there were no gloves for handling cats with and the technician who dealt with my cat was gentle and calm. Doctor William Folger was who saw me and my diabetic kitty and that man has to be the best doctor I have ever dealt with. Most doctors, even human ones, tend to give you the run-around and make you feel inadequate, but Dr. Folger told me everything I needed to know and made me feel at ease. My cat had been seen by two other doctors, one of which who was an acclaimed ""specialist"" with diabetic animals. Neither of these two doctors were able to help my poor kitty and were leaning toward euthanasia. Dr. Folger told me there was no need to put my cat to sleep and within a few months under his care my cat improved drastically and is a happy, healthy kitty. Even though the same things may not apply to your situation with your kitties, I have brought all of my 8 cats to the Memorial cat hospital and have also had to have one put down there. Trust me when I say, this is the one place you can have complete faith in their abilities to give you and your kitty the best experience possible. Read Less
