My whole family has been taking our pets to Dr. Garrison for 20 yrs or more. 2 Bassett Hounds, Golden Retriever, Mini Dachshund, two Cats, full size Dachshund, and a Shepherd mix. She is a great doctor. She is compassionate and loves the animals. She has worked with us on payments for high priced procedures and knows her capabilities and when a doctor should refer to someone else. Recently we lost our cat and it was sudden and devastating. Over-priced! Apollo received better treatment at North Loop Pet Clinic for less than $40. I wanted a second opinion so I came here. The visit alone here is $50 and I paid a total of $136. Apollo has been chewing on his histiocytoma, so they gave me an anti-chew spray that didn't work. When they called to check on Apollo, I told them that the spray didn't work and they didn't even recommend a cone which was the first thing North Loop Vet recommended and supplied me with. I also paid $75 for antibiotics that I later decided not to use on Apollo because he has already been through several other courses of antibiotics. I have not opened these antibiotics and I asked to return them. They said I could return them but with NO REFUND. That is just ridiculous. I read good reviews about this place so I tried it out. Definately NOT coming back. Also, not very professional. The vet techs here can barely communicate with you. They speak in low voices and have difficulty explaining procedures. We have been taking our dogs to this clinic for several years. They have taken great care of their health and thoroughly explain any issue with our pets and the recommended course of action to help their issues. Not impressed. Just moved to the area and I'm trying to find a vet for my dogs. One of which is old and has a lot of issues going on. When I went in to ask questions they didn't even know some of the medicines he's on, and they didn't seem to care or want us as clients. Read Less

My Yorkie Started Having Strange Behavior, Which Soon After, Turned into Seizures. I Figured it was Either a Brain Tumor, or a Liver Shunt(Which I Even Mentioned to Them, Because Liver Shunts are Common in Yorkies) They Kept Her at the Clinic a Whole Day. When I Picked Her Up, I Find Out that they Didn't even Do a Blood Test. They Told Me She Had Ingested Marijuana, that She's Either Been Eating it or That She's Been Around it, And that She's Having Schitzophrenic Episodes because of it. To Me, that Sounded Ridiculous. So I Took Her to Another Vet... Sure Enough, They Called Me and Confirmed that My Dog Has a Liver Shunt. She's Fine Now and Taken Care of, No Thanks to this Clinic. She Could Have Been Paralyzed, or even Dead, if I Didn't Bring Her Elsewhere. I Brought My Pets Here Almost 10 Years. There was a Time they were Passionate about their Work, and Genuinely Cared about the Animals. If Something Was Wrong, They Would Make Sure it Was Fixed(Even if You Didnt Have the Money!!) Now, it seems Like they Only Show Up because they Want to Get Paid. Their Attitudes Have Completely Changed and I don't Trust Them.Read Less

Took in a dog that wandered up on our property about two weeks ago. To see if the dog had a chip. She did not and found out she was pregnant and was about two weeks from delivering. Staff was very polite and very helpful. Read Less

My dog William has always had a fear of going to the vet for his haircut because he got snipped at another place. After he got his last haircut he was so happy and didn't lay in the front seat with a sad face! They did an amazing time. The new groomer is amazing and she will only his grooming from here on out! I LOVE THESE PEOPLE....they have been WONDERFUL...I was unlucky enough to save not 1 but 2 dogs with heart worms...I didn't like our current vet...so on a Sat. I stopped in no appt...we were quickly put in a room and give a consultation...Dr. was very concerned and advised us of our options in detail there was no rush, very patient and understanding of situation. The next week we started treatment and now they are heart worm free and healthy ...All 4 of them (we joke that I am running a kennel cause we just can't so no to dogs in need. What can I say , we've been coming here for over 20 years, Doc has treated all my animals, and I've had many over that time period. I've watched her kids grow up as she has mine. I consider Doc Garrison , & staff my friends & family. They have laughed & cried with us. I have been a customer at this clinic for just over two years and I wanted express my thanks to Dr. Debra Garrison and her staff for doing such a good job taking care of our beloved dog - lost him due to cancer. This clinic took good care of him (boarding) and their rates are very reasonable. If you need a good clinic to care for your pet, I highly recommend them and you too will be a loyal customer like me. We couldn't go to our usual vet... they were to busy. I ask a friend about Treaschwig Veterinary Clinic and she highly recommended them, so I called and made an appointment.Dr. Garrison and her staff were amazing. We brought in a stray cat I and although we had not had him very long we loved him from the time we first laid eyes on him. He had been abused when he came to our home, but we gave him love and kindness to show him that their still were people in the world who cared.Dr. Garrison was straight up with us and said the best thing to do for him was to put our beloved Stumpy down. He was very ill and would be suffering. My heart broke and the tears steamed down my face and do you know what Dr. Garrison did for me....she hugged me and told me how sorry she was...Dr. Garrison had never met us but she felt our deep sorrow none the less. This is how caring she and her staff were. I then understood that we were supposed to come to her....fate....had our usual vet, that we had been going to for 20 years not been constantly busy we would have never known to come here.We buried Stumpy in our backyard today and we bought a chime that they sell at her clinic so every time the wind blows we will know he is ok now and that he finally found the love he was looking for.Dr. Garrison will be our new vet from now on and we are very grateful to have a place that we can bring our little guys to and feel comfortable and know that they are in wonderful caring hands.Thank you Dr. Garrison and all your wonderful, caring staff. Our bloodhound was really sick we didn't know what was wrong. She wouldn't eat, barely drank and had not life to her. She could barely get on the couch. It was the weekend so we took her the the animal clinic were they said she needed surgery, and showed me a x-ray of her with two objects in her. Well she eats everything so we were upset. We couldn't get the money til Monday so they said take her home and bring her back monday. She seemed to get worse so on monday we got the money and took her to Treaschwig Veterinary clinic. This is where she regulary goes. We gave the doc the x-rays from the emergency clinic and she took Lady bird and said she would call us. It turned out that she didn't need surgery. The objects were the dones she ate. She had phnuemonia. The doctor kept her for 3 days. We got her back and she was her self again. Ohh and the cost was no where near the price the emergency clinic gave us. We will never go anywhere else. Ladybird loves the Treashwigh Veterinary clinic. So do we. Read Less
