Would love to rate these guys higher, but we were disappointed with how we were treated in several instances. First instance was our pup was scratching a lot. We took him to Stuebner Airline and the vet (not our regular doc, Whittmore is) prescribed all kinds of unnecessary shampoos and such that made the problem worse. Turns out he has no issues at all. Wasted money there by poor evaluation. Second instance on our older dog, he had surgery for cancer. They did a poor job of closing him up and did not use staples and his wound started to split open. He did lick the spot slightly, but the damage was done before that happened. I had called three-four times prior to that to tell them the wound was splitting. Of course they blamed us and and charged us another $1900 for the second surgery, this time using staples. Never even gave us a head up. We went to pick up the dog and they hit us with the bill. Never even informed us ahead of time what was required. The third instance my pup supposedly tested positive for heart worm and they never told us. We took him in for something else and they noticed it on his chart. So they retested him "free". It turned up negative this time, but we lost faith in them at this point and took him to another vet to validate the test. I feel like this place just wants your money and tries to run up your bill as much as they can. We did like Dr Whittmore and a couple of the techs, but I question their business practices. Like I said they just have their hand out for money at every turn. I would not trust this place 100%. There are better options. Read Less

Everyone is so friendly but Becca was outstanding. She answered all my questions and concerns patiently and really loved on Zoe. I love that the place is so clean and the extra touch of customer service, having drinks available is appreciated. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Read Less

This is the best vet hospital I have ever taken my pets to. Dr. Schmitt is fantastic. I recently moved from a few miles from the clinic to over 25 miles away...doesn't matter. I'm still going to stay with this practice! Read Less

We borded our yorkie, Tobi for a couple of days over Easter and are very pleased with their Pet Resort. The kennels are spacious and kept very clean. The staff is caring and very organized! I would also recommend their grooming service as well! Read Less

I brought my 14 yr old hyperthyroid cat who had been negligently been over medicated at another local vet and made very sick. I ended up taking him to Dr Heimlich and he was WONDERFUL. He has been a vet for a long time and was very knowledgeable but was equally interested in knowing his whole history, was not in a rush, didn't talk over me or condescend, he confirmed the dosing was incorrect for him and why he was sick, was equally up on the latest research and because he's been a vet for a long time has had a lot of experience trying different therapies. Also their clinic is very clean and updated. They offer a pet resort and grooming as well, the office is large and even though there are dogs there I felt there was a lot of distance for my cat to be away from them. I wanted someone close who wasn't going to overcharge and or throw a bunch more tests and extra charges and they didn't. It was $65 to be seen (reasonable) plus any lab work or meds. I was offered coffee and water while I waited for the vet which wasn't long. Highly recommend Dr Heimlich and this group, I felt at ease for the first time and have been to see several vets in his 14 years. Such a great place! I take my dog here for acupuncture, yes, I know, sounds crazy but it works. My dog was in a lot of pain before I started brining him for acupuncture and cold laser therapy, now he feels so much better. He's full of energy and he loves his trips here. I switched to Stuebner Airline Vet Hospital (SAVH) from another vet when my cat was in severe diabetic distress a few months ago.  The other vet recommended SAVH when I brought her in on a Friday afternoon in poor shape, and they just didn't have time to see her before they closed.   If I'd have stayed with the other vet, she would surely have died within a day.  These folks, though, went far beyond what I expected for her, and are very motivated to help.  They remember my name and my pet's name every time I come in, and Dr. Heimlich is a very gentle, caring and straightforward vet.  The staff have all been uniformly friendly, professional, and very loving to my cat.Their facility is clean, modern and pleasant, unlike so many other animal hospitals.They may cost a little bit more, but my experiences with them have been worth it.  My cat is alive and purring today only because of their dedication. SA vet is hands down the best in houston. They take care of your babies as if they were your own. Dr.Pratt is the sweetest and will always find a solution to any problem. I use to hate going to vet, almost as much as my dog. This time around we visited Stuebner Airline Veterinary and I was blown away. Extremely friendly staff, very knowledgeable and humorous doctors, and my tech Spencer is an absolute doll. Her mood is contagious, loves animals, and treated me and my dog like family. I can't say enough nice things about the Dr's, and the staff at Stuebner Airline Veterinary HOspital. I work at a veterinary specialty clinic, and we see a lot of their referrals. Not once, have I ever heard anything negative about them from one of their clients. This morning, I took my own cat there for a check up, and they exceeded all my expectations. The clinic is clean, warm and inviting. The receptionists are friendly, well organized and efficient. Their vet techs are top notch, and this morning Libby was my cat's Vet Tech. This place is awesome!  They really care and love your animal.  Our cat stayed a week for boarding and she was also spayed.  The surgery went very well.  The doctor gave us thorough discussion about the procedure and instructions for recovery.  I highly recommend this place. Read Less

My poor cat was coughing and sneezing so much that I had to take her to the vet. I googled "vet" at 8 pm and they were the only place open. I arrived and was promptly greeted by a very friendly receptionist.  She told me about her pet insurance and although I didn't qualify , it was really kind of her to suggest it. I was quickly taken to the examination room. The nurse took her vitals and was really kind.There was an emergency and they had to tend to that pet first. However, the nurse came in and apologized for the wait. Even then, it only took 20 minutes to be seen by the vet. She was really nice and treated my kitty very gently.  She diagnosed her with an upper respiratory infection and was very reassuring.  She explained everything to me and made sure I completely understood. I really wish I had not needed to go to the animal hospital at 8 pm but they made the experience less awful. I will definitely make them our go-to vet for any further kitty medical needs. Read Less

I originally came here because my puppy swallowed a bone and this was the nearest place I could find. HOWEVER, that puppy is now a little over a year old and I will be going here for years and years to come. They are great with him. Any questions I have, any assistance I need they are available.
