I brought my 14 yr old cat in for losing weight, on Feline Friday (btw was told they have a separate wing for cats and they would be away from the dogs. Not so, it was so small and cramped full of people and their dogs sniffing my cat's kennel making him hiss and stressed). We essentially saw the vet assistant. Dr Erkmann was in the back and the vet assistant said she examined him in the back which I have never had, when you see a vet especially for the first time you want to see how they interact with your pet and how do you know what was checked? She came in at the end for only a couple min to tell me he was hyperthyroid and put him on 7.5mg of Feliamzole 2x day. I should have known better how high of a dose that was. There are humans not on that high of a dose. For 4 weeks I battled him barely eating, lethargic, hiding, not social, sick. I suspected he was overdosed and he was. At recheck he was HYPO thyroid. She put him on 5mg and he continued 2 more days of this feeling sick until I finally called another vet who advised to take him off to give his system a break. I kept him off for a week and he went back to eating and being social and we found a new wonderful vet in the area who confirmed he was sick because he was over medicated and would never start a cat at that high of a dose and was lucky it didn't do damage to his kidneys. I will never set foot here again. I trusted this vet with a simple problem that got him sick as a result of her negligence and also ended up costing me more because she didn't take care of it right the first time. She is young and I feel in need of further education based on what she did. Also I told the vet assistant he is off chicken because he has inflammatory bowel it seems to trigger it and she gave him chicken treats. I thought long and hard about writing a review and because I don't want another animal to suffer I feel an obligation, pet parents beware. Read Less

We have been taking my pets to Four Seasons for two years now. The staff are friendly, the doctors are caring and skilled, and the office is very clean. We had a senior cat who became very ill and had to be euthanized, and the doctor and tech were so empathetic and kind. Our new kitten was spayed a week ago, and her incision is tiny and healing beautifully, and she clearly was in no or very little pain in the days afterward--excellent work. They are also very patient with our exceptionally timid Weimaraner. I have called around for price comparisons, and I've found that Four Seasons is competitively priced, and they also work with you to schedule services to save you money, they have discount days, and also a monthly discount vaccine day. I'm very glad to have found them! Read Less

Professional and knowledgable but not stuffy. Friendly and relaxed. It doesn't feel like a mill just running patients through. I trusted them to neuter my dachshund (which I was nervous about having done) and they breezed him right through it. Now I have a new puppy and they will be caring for her, too. She had her first shots today and her little leg was hurting and I freaked out because she was crying and shaking so then I started crying, too....they were very calm and said no she wasn't going to die and gave her a little pain meds and she was back to her wild little self in two hours. I picked this clinic due to the great reviews and it's less than a minute from my house. Making the appointment was easy and everyone was nice the first time I went. My adopted dog has heartworms and I told Dr. Graham I was currently doing the slow kill method(what they had been doing for him before I rescued him) and that if he had too many I'd do the treatment. So she showed me prices of what I'd owe and I told her as soon as I could afford the very expensive treatment I'd do it but until then I was going to continue the slow kill, which is meds. Everything was great until I needed his medicine. A lady at the front desk said that she'd have to put in a medicine request form, which I understand. I didn't hear anything by a week so I called and they had no record of it. So I asked again to have one of the vets approve it. They called back by a day or two and told me Dr. Amyx said my dog didn't need it because he had already had it. He had never even seen my dog or talked to me so he made a quick decision without much knowledge of my dogs health. To do the slow kill the dog has to go on and off the antibiotic. So I asked to pleas leave Dr. Graham a message. Didn't hear anything so I called a few times after that. She was never available or called back. Finally Almost a month later I go up there. She wasn't working and Dr. Amyx was on a "long phone call". A girl at the front said cone back tomorrow. I did and the lady said oh she's by appointment only. So I left a note with the front desk manager that I had been getting tossed around and that I just needed the meds for my dog. Dr. Graham did call me a few hours after I left and said she was sorry that she didn't get any of my messages. By this time I was irritated but I get sometimes staff looses stuff. She said they would be calling me Monday to pick up his medicine. That was weeks ago and I haven't heard a damn thing. So now I'll be taking my $1500+ for his treatment somewhere else. Read Less

I wish I could upload pictures of Squeaker to this review but I am unable to do so. Let me just say that I received word that my cat is being returned to me and they will not perform surgery even after they said a tech would pay for surgery and take ownership. I regret now that I even brought up that I felt slighted and that I would post a review on Yelp. To keep him from further pain my ex is driving to the clinic today to pick up the cat and have him euthanized somewhere else if we can't find another vet that will help him. Below is my Facebook post describing the situation to my friends, once I settle down and gather myself I will look into writing an organised and more thoughtful critique of this business which seems to care more about Yelp reviews and their 5 star rating then its patients.

I like this team!Read Less

A long story short I had a horrible experience at another vet and so I was a bit weary to trust my dog in the hands of another vet. I had read all the reviews for Four Seasons Veterinary Hospital, and I must say that my experience was above a five star rating. They have amazing customer service and are very personal. They even called me today to check up on my dog after his surgery, talk about going above and beyond. They have earned a customer for life. Thank you to the doctors and staff for taking such great care of my baby ( Sheriff ).Read Less
