I had to find a vet for our rescue dog and I found the perfect package. Staff is always friendly and very helpful, the vets are very nice and they even take the time to call you and talk about your concerns regarding your pet. Grooming is very good and I like the fact that a vet is always there if the groomer finds something suspicious. I came back from a trip to my cat being sick, I called this office and they got me in immediately the next morning without hesitation. I had a hard time getting my cat in the carrier (she has major anxiety leaving the house) so I was 10 minutes late. The clinic was so understanding, they got me in quickly after arriving. I had the pleasure of having Dr. McMaster evaluate and treat my cat and her assistant Paula was amazing! Dr.McMaster spent a good amount of time with me to answer all my questions and didn't push a bunch of things on me to buy that I wasn't interested in. Paula was so sweet and knew how to handle my cat in just the right way to make her as comfortable as possible. I'm boarding my dog this weekend and it turned out she needed an additional shot before I could drop her off. The vet I previously went to did not carry the shot I needed. Lexington Blvd Animal Hospital was able to fit me in the same evening I called. The exam fee was very reasonable, they offered a complimentary nail trim, and the vet even stayed and chatted with me a bit after administering the shot even though he knew I was a one-time patient (I am moving out of state in a couple of weeks). I love this vet clinic. I take all my cats and my dog there. It is a little on the pricey side, but I think it is worth it for the care that my animals receive. After Emma's vet retired, I was hoping to find another vet that was equal to the last one. We found Dr. Stanley at Lexington Boulevard Animal Hospital and she has been wonderful. Toby has been coming here since birth--almost 9 years. Recently he had ACL surgery and was boarded during the day following the surgery for two weeks. Toby loves coming here and we are very appreciative of the excellent care Toby has received from all--doctors (especially Dr. Willhouse and Dr. Stanley), staff, and vet techs. Got to spend the last few moments with our sweet girl in a private room with no people in and out, no pressure of payment and no judgement on our decision. Lexington Blvd Animal Hospital is really one of the best vets that me and my fiance have taken our dog to. We have seen multiple doctors and they always get her in when we have urgent concerns. The office is clean and the office staff is very friendly. We also board her here quite a bit and she always is super happy when she comes home. We have been taking our precious cats to Dr. Stanley for many years and she is an awesome Feline Specialist. We recently had to board my two Siamese for about a week and after looking at other boarding facilities and seeing the condition of their kennels I decided to board my cats at Lexington Blvd. Animal Hospital. I will never go anywhere else now. Their facility is so clean and bright and I had the option of putting my kitties in two kennels each to give them more room. The staff taking care of them were fabulous and followed my instructions for care and feeding to what I had written down. Dr. Stanley Checked on them as well to make sure they were eating and not losing too much weight from the stress of boarding. She even called to give me an update on how they were doing. Dr. McMaster was truly such a sweet and affectionate vet...she even called afterwards to check in on Duke which was rare to say the least. Big downside though is how up-priced their general vet services are...shockingly so. Unfortunately due to the price hike for their services we won't be keeping them as our vet but if pricing isn't a consideration then this would be a place I'd recommend. Read Less

They're definitely on the pricier side, but I was extremely impressed by how professional and friendly everyone was. My pup got into a pretty bad accident and I needed to take him in for an emergency exam. There was no problem getting an appointment within the hour and the waiting time upon reaching the clinic was also minimal. Dr. Kiel is the best -- attentive, knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond. She helped me through what was a pretty traumatic experience and was patient even when she had the same question asked by me, my mom, and then my boyfriend in separate instances. Dr. Donaldson also helped with the check-out process, and she was incredibly nice as well. I recommend this clinic highly and even though it's expensive, you get quality treatment and people who really know what they're doing. Read Less

Dr. Willhouse and staff were amazing in accomadating my needs, as well as my puppy's needs. When I came in for an emergency, everyone was so kind and genuine. Dr Taylor, the internist there, is awesome. He called me twice a day when my cat was critically ill and in the hospital there. He gave her, and me, excellent care, keeping me up to date and answering all my questions. He remains fully available in followup. The staff of their hospital is great, bringing her to me and answering my questions when I visited her. The front office is organized and very pleasant. And to those of you who have cats, you will say "Hooray !" for a cat-friendly practice. The dogs go in the other side of the office, and thus they are not near the cats. Dogs are one frightening thing that the cats (and owners!) don't have to worry about. I recommend Lexington Boulevard Animal Hospital without reservation. We were referred from our more local veterinary hospital to Lexington when we found ourselves in a last minute need to board our two pets. Our German shepherd tends to not eat when she's away from home, but with Lexington Boulevard Animal Hospital, we found that she had a healthy appetite, which makes us feel very comfortable leaving our pets in their care. Dr. Haug and her staff are wonderful. I learned a lot about working with my dogs and how to be the in charge of them. I also learned to watch for cues from my dog about if it wanted to be touched. We have a 18 year old Gray Tabby, She has always been a indoor cat and always been healthy until recently. We took her to see DR. Stanley at Lexington Boulevard Animal Hospital. Dr. Stanley and staff did a fine job of trying to make an uneasy cat feel calmer and they were very attentive with us as well. The personal inter-action with the owner is important to us. Examination, Diagnosis and Treatment was quick and gentle. All of which was appreciated. We have used Lexington for our dog for a few years but this was the first time for the cat. Won't be the last. I boarded all 3 of my dogs for 3 days and then when they came home Monday that night one of them was throwing up and had horrible diarrhea, he's never been sick prior to bringing him there. I took him to the vet and the vet told me he had Hookworm. I have 3 dogs and multiple cats so I had to foot the bill to get all of them medicine for hookworm and might I add this is something gross that can be passed even by stepping in the feces to humans or other animals via the skin. I contacted them about it and they told me ok we will call you back about it to "accommodate" you. Yeah I'm still waiting on that phone call, it was over 2 weeks ago. Nevermind the fact that I treated my animals and came out of pocket with bills over 600 bucks what about other people dogs that go there and get this nasty stuff. They obviously do not care. Also while my dogs were being boarded there (which I didn't want to do in the first place but my grandmother died and I couldn't bring all of them with me to Louisiana) I called the next day to check on them and they said ok we will have someone call you back to tell you how they are doing and they never did. The dogs stay in the back in a cage that looks like the pound, just not a good vibe at all from them ugh. BEWARE!Read Less

They are amazing. Dr.Kiel is the only vet Fatboy will stay calm with and their staff works with all of our dogs and their individual quirks. We have called nearing the end of the day with an emergency and they let us come right in and even stayed to give us the proper discharge and take home care info. What's even better is they are willing to take the time to make sure you know all your options and they don't sell unnecessary testing like other commercial vets- this is like going to a small town vet where everyone gets to know you and your pets personally. Not exactly sure why or how this place received such good ratings. I took my 10-week-old pup here for her first check up about a week ago and the staff were not friendly or welcoming. Calling in to schedule an appointment even felt like an issue. Most of the women at the front desk were rude and came off snobby and judgmental. Dr. Taylor was nothing compared to how he was described in existing reviews. He was nice, but he 1.) had to give my pup 2 shots because he pushed the first needle out through the other side of Belle's skin, 2.) did not explain anything well enough for me to understand, and 3.) left the room without telling me the appointment was over! We sat there for at least 20 minutes wondering if he had forgotten about us. I had to stick my head out and ask one of the girls at the front desk if I was OK to leave. At that point, the doctor had already left for the day...I personally would not recommend this place to anyone. Doesn't feel like they care for people's pets the way they should. Read Less
