HORRIBLE! They are incredibly rude and dihonest. When I tried to reorder the revolution for cats through 1800PetMeds, they told them I had to bring my cat in 1st for a heart worm test. When I called back to get that scheduled, the owners wife was very rude, over talking me and so on and told me that if I'm not happy to go some where else. So I did. We went back to our old vet and they told us that cat's do not need heartworm testing...they never have. I yanked both my pets out of there ASAP as they only care about the money and nothing else. Dr. Hamilton and his staff are very helpful and when you need them the most they are always there for you. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere but there. He help me through the lost one my baby girl and then found me my Rocky, this was through a bad time in my life. Thank you for being the kind of vet we can talk to about anything. You are the best. I have a vet down the street but will glady drive the extra 20 minutes to bring my dogs with this clinic. They are incredibly accommodating, very kind and helpful staff. I am always in and out in under 30 minutes and you can tell they just love animals there, especially the doctor himself, you can see he gets excited to see his return patients all the time. I ve seen the previous comments that claim the wife is snappy and rude, and although she may come off as that, or standoffish, in reality i have nothing bad to say since she has always been very respectful and accommodating with myself and my pets and eager to help. Awful, awful, unprofessional. I'd taken my boy cat there several times for steroid shots, as he suffers from allergies. I was trying to rescue a kitten and the receptionist/wife was very rude and loud. Turns out, as she explained later, her mother passed away and they spent their July 4th weekend travelling 6 States. The vet explained they were wiped out. He too asked me to leave as his wife was just too upset. Made an appointment with Sugarland rescue, and they've agreed to help me in rescuing this hurt cat. I waited over the holiday weekend because i thought i trusted them. But everything is working out. I'm actually glad they were rude to me, i didn't realize Sugarland had a branch and it will save me time, money and agony. I wish them well in their endeavors.Read Less

Dr. Hamilton has been my vet since 1972. He and his wife Maris have not only cared for my dogs and cats throughout the years, I consider them friends. I love visiting with the many animals who live there permanently--some who are blind or missing a leg. They are caring and compassionate people there. Read Less

Rude service! I called because my dog is having a bad reaction to some medicine and whoever answered the phone, hung up on me twice and just wouldn't help me or my pet. The vets wife is rude, snappy, and basically not very good at customer service. She also tries to diagnose problems when she's not even a vet. Read Less

Dr. Hamilton is the best vet around. Everyone at the clinic is wonderful, even the managerie of cats and dogs running around as official greeters. The needs of the family are also kept at the top of the priority list during a crisis situation. We absolutely love this place and will always take our furbabies to Dr. Hamilton. Read Less

My dog SP has plenty of allergies, and we were really worried on which vet to choose for him! We have been with Dr. Hamilton for 4 years now and have not regretted anything. SP is a regular and Dr. Hamilton takes care of him while we are there. Staff there are very friendly and patient. Read Less

Dr. Hamilton and his staff are the most caring, compassionate people I know. His wife, Maris works there and takes care of the front desk. She will always work you in if there is a problem. They work hard to make sure your pet gets the best care possible. I trust them and know they want the best for my animal. They go above and beyond. My little dog got out of the yard while I was at work. Somebody found him and called the Vet listed on the tag. Maris sent somebody from the office to pick up my dog and called me to let me know that they had my dog. They didn't even charge me a fee to board for that day. This is the kind of place this is. This is my family's vet.  I have been taking my dogs and cats here since I was a little girl.  Dr. Hamilton and his entire staff are always so understanding and accommodating.  Over the years I have had a few pets with health issues, and they have always be sincere and compassionate especially when dealing with difficult decisions.  I lived in Austin/San Marcos area for a long time, and have a few extremely bad experiences with vets in that area, I would even drive my pets back to Houston for their yearly check-ups as well as anytime they needed to have something looked at.  Just a reminder, they are closed on Saturday, but open on Sundays. the staff at parkglen animal clinic is amazing! along with their big hearts towards their clients animals they genuinely care about all animals, which you can tell by the emount of animals they have taken in. From one eyed dogs to cats with out tails they really love all animals. i highly recomend Dr. Hamilton to any one he is an amazing vet with a great heart. the staff does an amazing job i will continue to take all of my pets to the people at parkglen Read Less
