I have been going to Critter Care for the last two years for my miniature schnauzer. Dr. Plummer is amazing! My pet has received the best care from her veterinarian and I could not be more pleased. I did lots of research before choosing Critter Care and found all of the positive reviews to be true. I've been taking my bulldogs to see Dr Plummer for 9 years. I love her, she's great with my babies, and she's wonderfully priced. No matter where I live, I'll always take my dogs to Critter Care. I've had to call after hours more then once, and it's never a bother... late one night I had to rush one to the ER and I called Dr Plummer to let her know and she called ahead to let the ER know I was on the way so they'd be ready and she checked up on us through out the night and scheduled a follow up. We used to bring our standard poodle here for veterinary care, but now we moved farther away so we switched. I have only positive things to say about Critter Care!The vets, including Dr. Plummer and Dr. Carvin, have always been courteous and thorough, and the technicians are also wonderful. We even had Maddie's first dental cleaning experience under anesthesia. She came out of it just fine, and her teeth were in much better shape afterward. There was only one problem that I ever encountered here - and it was just a minor one. Instead of just getting the one vaccination that we requested, they went ahead and gave her all the vaccinations that she needed to become up-to-date without checking with us first. Read Less

Dr. Plummer and her staff are compassionate professionals who have treated us and our furbabies wonderfully ever since we started seeing her when they were little. When it was time for me to help my older furbaby to pass on, Dr. Plummer and her staff helped me with utmost empathy and respect easing, even if just by a bit, what was one of the most heartbreaking decisions I've had to make. From that phone call to make the appointment to right before I stepped out of their lobby doors without my furbaby, they went above and beyond what they had to do. Dr. Plummer and her tech offered reassuring and comforting words and I even got a lovely hug from the nice assistant/receptionist before I went home. The affordable cremation package I arranged for through Critter Care with Cherished Pet was beautiful and touching and now we have a sweet, tangible memento of our Idgie. And finally, yesterday, I received in the mail a heartwarming sympathy card from Dr. Plummer herself and all her staff. They didn't have to do it, but there they were, the handwritten messages and signatures on a real, physical card. In this time of texts and e-mails, I really, really appreciated this gesture. If you want a great vet who truly cares about your animal , this is the place to go. My dog wasn't feeling well and it was fairly urgent we take him to a vet. New to the Sugar Land area I found this vet at 4:00 pm and called and they had one last appointment at 4:30, instead of kicking me to the side for a later date, like many other places did, they scheduled my dog and started the new pet enrollment form early! They had great customer service and they were happy to help on the phone just as much as in person. Dr Amna Plummer is a awesome vet and she took care of my dog as if he was her own. This is the most horrible place where anyone can take their pet. Erin terrorized my 83 year old mom over $26.00 My mom had been on a fixed payment plan for a while and had never missed a payment. Her poodle needed the flu vaccine yesterday and my mom asked to charge her credit card in two days when her SSI got deposited and we went home. Today Erin called her to tell her that Dr Plummer was very upset and that my mom had to pay right away and that if she didn't pay they were going to put her in collections. Wow! I didn't know Dr Plummer was in such financial need. My mom was shaking and in tears. I went and I made the payment for her and Erin insulted me and even threatened me. I recorded the conversation because I was very upset but they didn't seem to care. I don't need to be treated like a criminal only because I'm Hispanic. There are way too many great veterinary clinics in the area to go to someone that only cares about collecting $26 from an old lady that's been a good customer for years. I will not allow anyone to terrorize my mom like that and insult me as well. We will take our business somewhere where they are not prejudiced and value their customers.Read Less

Recently took my puppy there due to him having parvo. Best service, my baby came back healthy and full of energy after the incident. The vet answered all my questions and helped out so much regarding my worries about my dog. Definitely recommend this place. They saved my puppy, and although it's a bit pricy, it's worth it. The vets at Critter Care have provided excellent care for my dog. Pricing is reasonable for the Sugar Land area in my opinion. Maddie has been here for both sick visits (vaginal discharge! Yikes!) and well checks and immunizations. We have been happy with the facility and care all around. Maddie also had a full dental exam and cleaning under anesthesia here, and it went smoothly without any complications. Her teeth came back looking great, and her stinky breath was gone! Dr Plummer is the best vet we have ever had. She takes extra time to help us understand about my dogs arthritis & does anything she can to help my baby stay pain free. We were in today & even though my dog was very painful & fearful while getting X-rays dr Plummer was very gentle & soothing with her. I can't say enough great things about this vet!! I brought Piper and he looked like a HOT MESS due to what was flea allergies...Pipers hair was thin, scabby, and he hid in the bathtub all day crying to himself. I brought him and yall did great even if you had half power at your place! Update: he is now out and about (in the house)...his hair is thick and no more lonely cries!
