Came as a walk-in on a Saturday morning, were helped within 10 minutes. The vet and vet tech were very kind to us and our dog! The vet helped us understand the diagnosis, and even made sure we understood all our options if the problem became frequent.Read Less

Very nice clinic, nice staff. However they charged us $150.00 to put our 16 lb. old dog to sleep. We took him home to bury him. We found this to be quite over priced since we buried him ourselves. Be prepared- this clinic charges premium prices for basic services. :( Read Less

Dr. Floyd is awesome! I took my dog in for a dental exam worried that his teeth were in bad condition. Instead of Dr. Floyd jumping on the chance to schedule an expensive dental cleaning right away, he was honest about the condition of my dog's teeth and explained that a cleaning wasn't urgent and that we could wait about 6 months. He also told me that they run a special and have 20% off dental cleanings so that I could book it during the promotion. Lastly, I received a text from Dr. Floyd the following day-- he was checking on my dog to see how he was responding to medication that he had prescribed during the appointment. This is not the animal hospital I usually bring my animals to normally. Unfortunately I had to put my best friend to sleep when his kidney failure finally got the best of him. My regular doc doesn't do euthanasia on the weekends and I couldn't let my bestie suffer for another 2 days. I found this hospital was open and close by plus they have an opening an hour after I called. Upon arrival I began crying in the waiting room and they quickly and discreetly got me into a room for privacy. I spent a little bit more time with my boy before the doc came in, asked some pertinent questions and then placed a catheter to ease the process. Dr Floyd was so nice and understanding. Though he'd never met me or my cat he was very kind. He even offered to have a paw print done of my kitty for me to keep. They brought me the bill in the room so I wouldn't have to wait around after the procedure which was also very understanding. The girl who helped up at the front desk was very sweet too. Overall I highly recommend this hospital. Kind people, reasonable pricing, thoughtful touches and the doctor even sent me a personalized symoathy card afterwards. Dr. Floyd is amazing, so intuitive and intelligent as well caring and compassionate, which is hard to find. I took my Morkie in for what I thought was a UTI and Dr. Floyd actually found 3 large bladder stones. He preformed her surgery days later and kept me informed every step of the way, I was a wreck but I was at peace that she was in good hands. He emailed me pictures and progress after the surgery and continues to communicate with me on her progress and healing. I am extremely grateful for the wonderful care that I have received! Read Less

I came here because it was close to home and also because I was having somewhat of an emergency with my kitty. He had been sick for a few days over the weekend, totally lethargic and no appetite whatsoever. I was very worried and distraught over it, and when I got home from work on the following Monday, he was still just as ill. I found VCA on Google. I called to see if we could come in at 6:30pm, and they were closing at 7pm, but told me to come anyways. We got there almost right at 7, but they let me in. Got me in a room and one of the doctors was with us very shortly (sorry, I cannot remember his name). I was very impressed and touched that everyone stayed late, just so my baby could be seen. They also gave me a free exam, as they have a special on for first time feline patients. I followed the Dr's instructions, and waited a few days, but by Thursday morning my kitty was still not improving, so I decided to take him back. That time we saw Dr. Floyd. He was very patient, and answered all of my questions and concerns, and gave me his advice and opinion on the situation. He also told me about the care credit as cost was definitely a concern of mine. In the end, I decided to return home, and this time Dr. Floyd set me up with Sub Cu fluids to take home and instructed me on how to administer them. The next day, my kitty was starting to improve some, and around mid-day Dr. Floyd called me to check up on everything. I was very impressed that he did so and also touched by his apparent concern and care for his patients. I had some additional questions for him at that point and he answered them all. Over the weekend, my kitty was improving more and more, and by this week he is now almost all the way better. Dr. Floyd called me once again today to follow up. Again, I am just so impressed with the care and concern of him and the other team at VCA, I have never had a vet call me back once, let alone twice, to follow up. Because of this, I will always come and see Dr. Floyd now, even if it is just for my kitty's check-ups. Thank you Dr. Floyd and VCA.Read Less

Dr. Baudy provides excellent, compassionate care. My wife and I drive 80 miles, round-trip, out of our way, so our cats can have the best care in Houston. The office staff members and vet techs are courteous and professional. We are so Blessed to have found Dr. Baudy through the Houston SPCA when we rescued our cats. Read Less
